Worst experience ever in my life. Ford has definitively lost a costumer. I m flabbergasted with poor service received, or better, not received. I m writing this review not under the expectation to be popular but to alert people when deciding where to stop for a service or vehicle purchase. Here it s definitely not a place.I bought an Explorer in May this year and it s still 5,000 miles (just to provide some context on how new this is) and the Car Play stopped working (screen went black during a journey). I booked an appointment for an assessment being made. What wasn t my surprise when the representative refused to receive my car under the excuse that as it s not black screen right now, there is nothing it can be done. I tried to make my point and I was surprised by the manager of the service department, who agreed with the service rep and tried to make me understand that there are 7 different electronic components and they can not all be assessed to look for the error (if any).Once again I tried to make my point making them understand that what happened if something more serious was going on or how am I supposed to look for a ford dealer on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of nowhere? They, unbelievably, just said yes sir that s what should happen.One thing is for sure, I will no longer conduct any business with Ford AutoNation @Katy, TX.

"Perhaps a better way..."I had an appointment to drop off my truck as a piece of trim had fallen off while it was still under warranty. I arrived early at the dealership and was greeted by a service greeter who took me to the desk of the person I had an appointment with. But when I got there, nobody was there, and the representative didn't explain why or where they went. I saw some reps sitting idle, but nobody approached me.After standing for six minutes, a service manager noticed me looking confused and asked if I needed help. I told him I had an appointment, but nobody was there to help me. He indicated that it was company policy not to leave customers at empty desks and found someone else to help me. But when I told the new rep about the problem, the first thing he said was it wasn't covered under warranty, without explaining why. When I said it should be since the piece just broke off. Then he walked away without saying anything, how rude!I saw him getting the service manager, who went over to my truck, so I followed. I explained the issue to the manager, who thought it was likely covered under warranty, but there might be complications since there was no part to give back to Ford. If it wasn't covered, he would give me a number to contact them.The experience made me feel defensive, angry, and like AutoNation Ford doesn't care about its customers or service.A few small differences could have been much better. If the greeter explained that the person, I had an appointment with was not there and indicated that I might have to wait a few minutes. Or better yet follow the company's policy and not put me at an empty desk.The new rep could have started with this should be covered under warranty but what the possible complications might be. The reps could also have been friendlier and more communicative. A few small changes could have made this a better experience.

I bought my truck here many years ago, and even back then I had poor experiences in the service center. This past time that I went was the worst. I only wanted a basic oil change on my truck and the service clerk kept saying they don't do that at that location. I've never been to any ford dealerships that have told me that. When I pulled up the option online, he offers $10 off and said that it was the best he could do. If I wasn't in desperate need of an oil change I would've left, but Autonation Katy will not be seeing me again.To make matters worse, when I went out to eat a few days later I noticed that the cover under my truck was not secured properly and was hanging down. This was totally careless and could've cause a lot of problems for myself and someone who was driving behind me should it have gotten caught on something or fallen off.Do not go here for vehicle maintenance or anything else for that matter.

When I arrived they were very busy. Yet Mario, my service advisor got to me quickly and efficiently. He listened to my concerns and made sure to get my truck back to me in timely manner. Originally he said it would take 48 to 72 hours. However they were able to get to get it back to me before the 48 hour mark in perfect working order

I go there because it s where I bought my car. Even though I now live in Conroe. I m very peculiar about other dealerships that I don t know. I don t really have any issues other than I always have to wait after getting checked in by the guys out front.Standing at the desk. When I go in there a not a soul greets you. And I mean folks who aren t on the phone. Not even the advisor who is assigned to my vehicle. Maybe I m old fashioned.

The service technicians here at auto nation in Katy are very professional, competent, and courteous and helpful. They do a thorough diagnostic on your engine and electronics and tell you only what you need to hear about the service of your vehicle. I will return to them for more service when my bank account will allow it. Thanks guys, you did a great job, but it still needs a radiator flush, transmission flush and a tune up. See you soon!

Great service! Except from the issues with online scheduling system that had me reschedule a couple of times, I love this mobile service. The mechanic who came to our home to do the oil change on our car was very patient, respectful, and thorough. He answered all my questions and took time to explain what he is doing. Thank you!

Making appointment was easy. Check in and info from Steven was great regarding Ford 30-60-90. My car was done quickly and so was checkout. Only disappointment was recall items still on back order; not a local issue.

They operated with integrity.We recommend them to anyone who is looking for some great dealership.The dealership team who was in charge of our used vehicle buying process took the time to answer any questions wehad, and addressed all the issues that the vehicle had before delivering it to us. They provided us with all the options available - fromrepair to replacement at no cost.Nowadays, it can be difficult to find good service at a dealership, but at Ford Katy AutoNation, you can trust you will get a great vehicle and service. AutoNation Ford Katy Service Center is the best!

These guys will rob you blind. I was charged 10x more for a part and labor than market price. Do NOT take your car here for repairs.EDIT: I gave the number a call and just got the bot farm. Here are the details of the itemized invoice just so you know to STAY AWAY.Issue: AC Blower Motor Control Module/Resistor FailureTime of labor: 1.5 hoursCost of Labor: $548.88Cost of Material: $372.12Misc Charges: $59.99Tax: $35.65Just to be clear. That is $274.44/hr if you're being generous. That is already insane, but it gets better. The material charge for the Blow Motor Control Module is more than 5 TIMES the price for any retail option to buy that part and that's being generous. The highest retail option I can find is $60.To make matters worse, they didn't provide any pictures of the failed part or the replacement part. If you made it this far, RUN.

They were able to get us in quickly because it was a battery emergency. They were able to safely replace the 12-V battery in my C-Max hybrid and get us back on the road in less than two hours.

I wanted to install running boards and a bed cover for my new F150. I called in advance to understand the process and parts availability. They sent me to the parts department, instead of the accessories department, where I was told the bed cover was not available and I would have to come in and order it. When I arrived to order the bed cover, the accessories department advised everything I wanted was in stock and they could install while I waited. However the wait was longer than expected because the installation person was finishing other vehicles. If I had been directed to the accessories department when I first called, we could have scheduled an appointment and avoided excessive wait times.

Had a great experience with Autonation Fire in Katy.Michael Munevar listened to what I was interested in and showed me several vehicles. He answered all my questions and demonstrated a lot of things as well.After we bounced back and forth between a couple of vehicles because I really like one vehicle but it was missing some features I was interested in, Michael showed me a vehicle they had on display that matched the model I like but had some after market work that added in some things I wanted.He took me to the service area and we talked to the manager there about that vehicle, what had been done to it, and what it would take to do that in the model I was looking at.It actually ended up being about half of the cost on the Ford package those features came with.So in the end I was able to get the vehicle I wanted at a better price and they were able to get the work done within two days.Because Michael took the time to listen to what I wanted and understood the missing feature was holding me back from getting the model I wanted, he was able to provide a solution that was actually more cost effective and at the end of the day I got the vehicle I desired.I would absolutely do business again with Michael Munevar and Autonation Ford.

My vehicle was taken in on Saturday for routine service and additional request that I needed on the fuel systems. All my request were done within a few hours and my service advisors Carl and Steve were super nice and both know the Ford products very well. The Service team at the Ford Auto Nation in Katy is why I have purchased 2 vehicles from them!From sales to service, they just do it right!

I love you all. Always bring my vehicle to all. The only thing is your appointment setters need to be straight about how long a diagnosis of an issue should take so that those of us who don't have another car can plan for the length of needed to get it done.

The service center as not done a very good job at this time. We scheduled to have the vehicle serviced and recalls taken care of. Kept car for a week did not finish repairs. They stated that they would keep ticket open so that the can remember to follow up and call us. We have not heard back from anyone at AutoNation since we picked the car up in December. We have reached out as well and have not received any calls back. Not a happy customer.

Upon arrival at Katy Ford Autonation for my service appointment, everyone was very professional and attentive. They explained what I should expect in time, and immediately after checking in I received a text message where I could communicate with the service agent in case of a question very good experience.

I took my car just to change oil. But after they have checked it, they figured out that the back break is fully damaged and the alignment of the front wheels is so bad. Then the Service Advisor has explained to me the whole situation and I agreed on changing it as well.Thanks to the Service Advisor Mr. Mike Ouida who has professionally and patiently explained the whole situation to me. Without him, I could have been into an accident due to the broken brakes. And my car could have been damaged severely due to the miss-alignment .

I had the rotors on the front brakes replaced on my F150 on Friday.After driving it Saturday I noticed a smell like something was burning around the front driver side of the vehicle. On investigating the wheels i noticed that the front driver side wheel was so hot that I could not touch it with out burning my hand.Also there was a black streak in the rotor. I believe there is something wrong with the brakes.

Kept the quoted time frame. Found a very tiny leak in my tire, that others could not - yeeah. Did a wiper recall, check and service. Although my drivers side mirror stops working mid way randomly, and makes growling noises, they did not see it stopping. So no repair. That was my main concern. Dis-appointed.

Honestly the easiest car buying experience. I hate shopping and buying cars too but they made it easy. Super simple process no pressure just took my Maverick for a test drive applied for credit (not the best credit score) got me approved anyway signed the papers and was on my way less than an hour. I had tried port lavaca ford and was treated like trash and had given up due to trouble financing and bad sales people but this place was great definitely going back if I need another vehicle! Shoutout to Oscar great sales guy.
