I try to support small businesses when I can. I called Joe's Garage earlier this week, and spoke to Stephanie. All I needed was brakes and an oil change. We agreed I would drop it off Thursday afternoon. I brought the car, talked to both Joe and Stephanie. Joe asked if I wanted to go ahead and replace both front and back brakes. I told him I wasn't sure- it's just making a squeeling noise. I asked a price, and he said he didn't know right then. I told him I would call to check status on Friday when I got off work, and he said "I'm sure we will call you before you call us. It doesn't take long". I'm posting the texts that I rec'd and sent after that. I went to pick my car up awhile ago, and no one even came out to talk to me. Stephanie's son was sitting outside, and told me "Your car is around the side. The keys are in it and you can just take it". I asked if anyone was going to come out and talk to me. Was my oil changed? Do I owe money? Stephanie came out, and after exchanging a few words, it got verbally UGLY. She followed me around to the side of the shop, and my mom pulled her car around there really quick because it scared her! I'm not sure where the disconnect was here. I just wanted my car fixed! Parts weren't even ordered until AFTER i was supposed to already have the car back. IF they were ever even ordered!

I took my car in a few months ago to fix my AC, tune up the car and fix the issues with my transmission. They charged me $750 for a new compressor only to tell me later that he rebuilt the compressor instead of buying a new one. The car left his shop with the AC still not working. The transmission is still leaking fluid and instead of replacing the dipstick he told me that I needed to get a new one. The car was there so long that my optima battery died and I was out of pocket $200 to replace it. And to top it all off he broke my gauge cluster and failed to reimburse me for it. The gauge cluster cost alone cost $275 to replace. It's frustrating that people like this are allowed to stay in business.I wouldn't trust them to work on my bicycle and if you value your time and money you would heed the advice of another reviewer and RUN!!!

Went months without an ac in my truck, after multiple people looking at it, Joe was able to figure it out and get it fixed for me!
