The worst experience we could have asked for. We brought our jeep in for a check engine light issue on Friday and was told they didn't charge their coder so ask if we could bring in Monday. We bring in Monday and we don't hear anything back till Tuesday. We first got quoted $437.00 and then later same day $687. After we agreed to pay that they called us back saying it would be $1463. We did not like it but we went with it as well have to have our vehicle. We paid and picked it up on Wednesday at 6PM and when we got home we noticed it was leaking oil now, which was never a problem before their technicians worked on it. It was not leaking when we Brough it in and then started as soon as we got it home. I brought back to them to fix and they refuse to fix it but now they want to charge an additional $1665.00 for something else. I would NEVER recommend this place. Owner Derek is extremely rude and a coward and hung up on me and their manager Alex has no clue what he is doing. He told me they brought him in to try and "Fix" the reputation of this shop as it is well know for ripping people off and not fixing their vehicles. Legal actions will be taken but don't let this happen to you.. Take your vehicle elsewhere. No other problems were diagnosed other then the $1200 of work that was done to it. I was told everything was fixed and good to go . No mention of any other problems or leaks. Not even 10 hours later it s leaking oil which was not happening until the work was done by their HS mechanics.

I'll keep this as short as possible then wait for them to call me a liar as they have with other negative reviews. My daughter went in for a state inspection and was told her brake pads were almost metal to metal. They only had about 3 mm left.Several issues -1) 3 mm is not almost metal to metal.2) Her pads were replaced about 7,000 miles ago and (after having them checked again that afternoon - pictured) they have 9 mm left.3) When I went in to question the manager about it he said he's the one who helped her and he "never said metal to metal." So my daughter who has no clue about cars just came up with that term all by herself??? He continued denying saying that and because I was upset and loud after he called my daughter a liar, he told me to just leave and he walked out the door.Use them at your own risk. Good luck!

Took my Kia because of a popping in the front of the car. The first time they tried to fix it it didn t work and was expensive. Like a fool I took it back to them and they replaced another part. We didn t even get it home and the noise continued. Just turned around. After the next several hours I went to pick it up and they told me they could not figure it out. I wish they had told me that about $800 and days before they told me that. I would NOT recommend them. They still wanted me to come back and let them try but my confidence in them is gone.

Best place to get your vehicle worked on great group of guys. Knows what they are doing and willing to work with you. They busted out my truck in a timely manner and also made sure I was good to go. I want to thank Alex for being straight forward and a big thank you to Robert for getting everything done and making sure to get me on the road. Most definitely will be going back there for more work to be done.

Been bringing my truck in here since we moved here.Brought my truck in roughly a month ago for an oil change. After my oil change my truck was leaking oil from the 90* fitting above my top side oil filter.I brought it back in, and they blamed it on a rusted fitting, but magically it stopped leaking and no issues further. I bring my truck back in today for a service and get told after my trucks in the bay that because my truck was leaking after they serviced it that the owner doesn t feel comfortable touching my truck. They do repairs here, they do full service changes, but because my truck leaked after their service I cant get an oil change or have my truck fixed here?Edit : for what it s worth, I don t think Alex had anything to do with it. He said someone was watching the cameras and saw my truck and said he didn t want to touch my truck.

I have used Finish Line Auto Care 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Two oil changes and 1 State Inspection. The process on all 3 transactions was seamless and quicker than I expected it to be. Alex Celis got me in and out in no time and I didn't set an appointment for any of the service work. The men in the shop were very professional and took good care of my vehicles.I highly recommend Finish Line when you need to have your vehicle serviced or repaired.

We brought our grandson"s car to Finish Line because it had a check engine light on. They were able to figure out the problem very quickly. Alex noticed the brakes making a noise and offered to check them. After checking them he sent us pictures of the back brakes that needed to be replaced. We asked him to fix the brakes. They had everything completed very quickly. We are grateful that Alex took time to check the brakes when he heard a strangr noise and fix our grandson's car so he can safely travel back to college.Thank you Alex. Keep up the good work.

Went for my vehicle inspection. Great guys. Super fast. Originally thought I needed a new headlight but after they opened it up they realized it was just loose.

This team in Justin, Texas goes beyond the scope of work to take care of their customers, especially this one. Chris and his team are 5 star rock stars, who always look out for their customers, by being fair and upfront on what is happening with your particular vehicle. I recommend anyone to have their vehicle serviced at this great location.Service: Air conditioning

Went in for an alignment on my truck. They called me and told me the alignment would not be able to be competed because my wheel bearing was bad. I had the wheel bearing replaced and they want to charge me again for another alignment. That s not good customer service.

I always go to FinishLine, Justin for my oil changes every 3000 miles, just like clock work and never had an issue. Went this morning at 9:30 and was told it would be 30 minutes. The manager then informed me the last guy who changed my oil, who is no longer there stripped the plug on my oil pan and forced it on crooked. FinishLine admitted this! They have been making callssince 9:30 trying to find a new metal plug or something and have it recalibrated.Got here at 9:30 and now it s 2:48!!Thankful the plug didn t come out and I didn t lose any oil due to this fiasco!!3:09 - just ordered another part from O Reilly!!4:00 - Just got home!!FYI: The DM showed up and was extremely rude! I told him I hope they never put anyone through this again. He said sometimes they have to order parts. I said your manager ordered parts 4 different times and they were all the wrong part. Each time he told me it would be about 30 more minutes and I was there for 6 hours for an oil change! He said well we made it right, didn t we ! He then said it wasn t their fault, it was a previous employee s fault! He told me I was upset because I was there all day! This man and company needs to be reevaluated and take a sensitivity class. However, I believe it s his personality.TOTAL VICTIM SHAMING BY DM and STORE MANGER!! Mentally and CruellyDegraded.

Had a appointment for a oil change and was out in about 15 min. Tech left the tablet in the engine but luckily it didn t damage anything and he grabbed it before we left. Brought my own oil in and the price was pretty reasonable.

I wasn't going to leave a review until I reviewed my statements and saw the comment about waiving diagnostic fees from what other shops had done. There was also the comment about following up work that I had done. While I'm not a mechanic, I can do the basics myself and understand the workings. One of the reasons that I took my truck in was it was overheating and to get the coolant flushed. I was told there was rust and that it needed the radiator replaced. At that time I asked about the water pump as well and was told it didn't look like it needed it. The cost to replace the radiator was going to be something like $700 so I decided to do it myself. I also ended up changing the radiator hoses and the thermostat. The thermostat is the ONLY area I made a mistake as I thought I remembered having to apply gasket maker in addition to the paper gasket.Even after Finishline flushed the radiator, block, did a flow test, and changed the thermostat, I continued to having overheating problems. I finally decided to have another shop look at it and immediately they saw a leak at the water pump housing and the timing chain cover. They pulled it apart and sure enough the water pump was bad. Multiple times I went back to Finishline and suggested this to only be told it wasn't the water pump. It wasn't that there was air in the system, bad thermostat, raditator, but rather the water pump that I'd suggested initially. You weren't having to fix problems after me, but another shop had to fix what you failed to recognize and kept charging all these other services for.The other issue I had was what appeared to be a rough idle after another shop changed my transmission. This is where you noted that you wouldn't waive the diagnostic fee any longer for fixing what another shop did. I took it to you because the transmission shop said the engine wasn't running right and was missing. The transmission shop had changed the plugs and it turned out they were given the wrong plugs which you changed. I picked up the truck and it was still running rough. I pointed this out and you wanted to charge another diagnostic fee. I stated that the initial issue hadn't been corrected and I didn't feel that was right. This is the diagnostic fee that I asked to be waived, not the overheating issue. I later pulled the plugs again and they had no anti-seize on them. Basic mechanics. So yes, you were following up on what another shop did. However, that being said. If you didn't fix the issue the first time, why should I keep paying diagnostic fees? I also paid a lot of money to get the A/C fixed in the truck so it's not like I wasn't paying anything to your shop to work on the truck. In summary, you blamed the customer for your inability to find an overheating issue and wanted to keep charging diagnostic fees to fix an issue you deemed was caused by another shop that you couldn't fix the first time. Another shop fixed what you failed and I figured out the idle issue myself.I saw the Facebook post from someone in Justin upset over transmission job you did and heard people making fun of you while I was at your shop. I defended the shop and I was wrong! I wouldn't recommend your shop to change a tire! My advise to anyone considering Finishline is to run out the door as fast as you can. Look beyond the reviews and try to find comments on forums and Facebook about the shops you're interested in.

Went to get my oil changed here they did the oil change when I got to work, I had no oil in my car. Due to them cracking my oil cap. Had to get it inspected and new oil cap and oil change at a shop near my work. When I went in to tell the what happened the next day. They said the owner would call me back and make it right. That was 2 months ago. Still no call. I have called multiple times they tell me the same thing owner will call me.Service: Oil change

I have never bought a new car. Currently own two I bought used. As a used car buyer and owner, having a reliable and easy to deal with mechanic is vital.Only recently moved into the Justin area and needed to find a shop I could trust me care to. FinishLine was recommended by a neighbor. When I got there they were backed up and they were dealing with 107 temps. Everyone, especially the manager Carlos were courteous and professional. I'll be back.Service: Battery

These guys saved the day for us, we had a flat on our way to work and they were on our way to the job site. We didn't know the area and found them on Google, thank goodness we did because right when we pulled in we were meet by an employee and he was so nice. Fixed our tire in probably 10 minutes and no charge! They helped get to our job site quick... We will definitely be coming here again! The manager came out personally also to meet us and make sure we were taken care of. Awesome place!!

My experience was great! I was able to set an appointment over the phone for an oil change and once I arrived I was helped immediately and the man that helped was very kind. It was the cheapest oil change I could find around where I live. They even sent a text with the inspection overview.

First time using Finish Line. Went in for an oil change and state inspection during my lunch. The manager Carlos introduced himself as soon as I walked in. The mechanics wasted no time in taking my truck and started right away. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I felt comfortable and everyone that works there is very friendly. Highly recommended and will be using them for all my future car needs.Service: Oil change

I ve lived in Justin for 5 years or so and for many of those years this business had a bad reputation. Before I went in today for an oil change, I told my wife and she said, I haven t heard good things about them . I went anyway because it was close and convenient and was really surprised at the good service and the new manager seemed on point. He greeted every customer, even when busy and made sure that I knew this place had changed It was a quick service and they didn t even try to pressure me into some other kind of service. Will definitely go back when I need some maintenance. Thank for not making me drive to Roanoke or Keller for auto service in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

WARNING - Took my car there because it was overheating. Spent over $1,300 to fix the entire cooling system. They called me at 4:45 on a Friday and said it was "Good to go". Didn't even get 2 miles from the shop before realizing the vehicle was still doing the exact same thing that made me take it to the shop in the first place. Called on Monday, to let em know it was still broke, they said it would be Thursday before they could get it back in to look at it. Took it back on Thursday, on Friday again around 4:45 - they called me again and said "Actually. It needs to have THE WHOLE ENGINE REPLACED." I have now spoken to numerous other professionals who have assured me that there was no chance they would've not known that this needed to be done before giving my car back the first time. It is my guess that they figured if they told me everything that the car needed, I would've said no to fixing any of it, so they only told me about a couple cheaper - remember $1,300 worth - items in hopes of at least generating some revenue.Their solution to all of this - give me credit for future services. So basically, they asked me to do them a favor. To have me trust the people who took $1,300 of my money to give me back a broken vehicle they told me was fixed, with future work on future vehicles.I went a different a route.

Always enjoyed taking vehicles to Finish Line in the past. The past year the manager/mechanic left then they began requiring appointment for oil changes, even when there were no vehicles in the bays. The reason I will not return is that there pricing on mechanical repair is twice what a dealer charges. New manager kept going on to customers about needing to bring vehicles to Finish Line due to their low labor charge. All I can say is double and triple check you bill before you leave. I mistakenly left before scrutinizing my bill and it cost me. I was charged double what a dealer charges. I returned to discuss my concern with the manager Carlos. I assumed that is was just an honest mistake and something was added inadvertently. Carlos was defensive and either didn't understand what I was explaining or didn't care. Asked why I didn't take it to a dealer if they were cheaper and I should have brought it up on day of service. Again, as I said I thought it was an honest mistake, evidently this is just the way labor is charged at this shop, a dealer charges 2.5 hours for service I had performed and Finish Line charged 9 hours. People are free to choose who they do business with. My choice will be never to return. My suggestion is that if you do have them do work that every charge is thoroughly explained and that you get estimates from other shops. The techs and mechanic are all friendly and appear to do good work, but just not worth paying double.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

These guys do a great job of taking care of your car and their customers. I got my oil changed and was missing some bolts on my skid plate (not their doing). They happened to have some that fit and hooked me up no extra charge. Highly recommend!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I have tried to take my vehicles and my son's vehicle there for an oil change at various times of the day. Each time I went, I am always told they were down a man, and it is a several hour wait or they couldn't get to do it. I want to spend my money local, but I have tried 4 times over the last several months.

Do not use this shop!!! Mat at the desk did a bait and switch. I was there for the second time for then to correct their mistake from the first time. I was told to bring my vehicle and they would correct their work for free. They ended up charging me a second time. Mat at the desk gave my receipt with my phone number and address to another Customer who called me to tell me he had it. The shop originally misdiagnosed the problem and kept charging more and more until had to move vehicle to a different shop to get it correctly diagnosed and running.Service: Electrical
