***Update;Manager Josh called and made it right for me. I appreciate their understanding.........After second consult all my car needed was $60 worth of balacing and rotation, which fixed the problem!

On two separate occasions, with two separate vehicles, I have had terrible experiences with the service department. Know that (at least at this location) they are not in the business of service, but rather SELLING SERVICES.You're better off going to your local shop. I recommend Rick's.The first time, I already knew what the issue was and came in for a quote on the fix. After running their mandatory diagnostic ($150), they informed me they could not find anything wrong with my car other than their recommended preventative maintenance repairs totaling half the cost of the vehicle. I had to go on a ride with the service technician explain that this was a common steering column issue with older highlander models and then tell him what parts would be needed. I ended up taking it to my local shop and getting it fixed for half their quote, but regret wasting my time here.The second time, my catalytic converter had been stolen. I needed a new one from the manufacturer, after trying two aftermarket parts. I called the service department to get some information on a part (price and lead time). Instead of directing me to the parts department or just looking it up, they condescendingly asked me if I was "sure" I needed this part. Then proceeded to refuse to give me any information without paying a full diagnostic fee. (I had already had another Toyota and a local shop diagnose the issue). The service manager E. Alvarez told me, "Don't you know we're not connected with other Toyotas? If you want any of that information, you're going to have to pay me $150 to run a diagnostic."Do not waste your time at this service department.

made an appointment for basic maintenance/oil change. was told appointments don t really mean anything and what should take 30 minutes would take 2.5 hours. joke. avoid

I've been going to Toyota of Irving for years (15). I am no longer happy with their service. They used to be the best around, but they no longer meet the standards I am used to. I had brought my vehicle in for a quote on a repair. I told them what it needed, but I was charged $475 to confirm it was that. That's fine, but the quote for the repair was more than what the car is worth (greater than $10,000), so it was easy to say no and decide to do it myself.The problem really was getting my car towed home. They didn't let my tow truck person know where the car was located, and they had to drive around looking for the car. Then it was crammed in a spot that the wrecker could not get to. When they went to put the car in neutral to pull it out, they had let the battery die on the vehicle, so he also had to jump the car. Finally, the car is home, and in looking at my motor, they broke my Lexus engine cover in half and glued it back together and put it back on the motor. You could have just disclosed you broke it in when looking at the motor, instead you tried to hide it. As someone who knows every part of their vehicle, I was going to catch your mistakes.So now I'm out an additional $100 for a new engine cover because I wasn't there to point out the issue when the car was released. That's on me, but you should have told me it had happened. I have had some other minor issues with my other vehicles and services as well, but I don t need to go into detail on those. I now ask Toyota of Irving to get their service back to five stars like it used to be. It will help you keep customers coming back, instead of losing them like you have me.Service: Engine repair

I took my car for a diagnostic to check wjat was wrong. I was told if I agree to do the repairs with them the $155 diagnostic fee would be waived. After the repairs were done I was advised the $155 were now part of the repair fee and would not be waived. I advised them that I was given false information anf misled, but both the advisor and service manager told me the same. Be careful with what your quoted and then actually charged.

Honestly, I go because I get a decent price for and oil change with a car wash. Customer service in the "Service Department" is always mediocre at best, 90% of the service agents have never been friendly and look like your anoying them. If you work in customer service you should have at least have some skills in that field. Smh

The service personnel were very polite but seemed to be misinformed.All I had done was a 45,000 Mi maintenance which is just an oil change, it appears they failed to reset about 10 different service lights that had popped up. My battery was low so they had to jump it to get my car started and told me that all of the service lights were because the battery was so bad. I got a battery the next day and that did not cure any of the service lights as they had told me it would. I took it back to them and they reset all of the service lights and it was okay after that but I don't think they reset it properly the first time that is why they did the second reset for free.

I had an 830 appt to get my Toyota Camry a 4 wheel alignment I arrived 15 mins after 8 and they took my car. Three hours later I had to ask where my car was. A very arrogant service advisor found my car sitting in the sun. I have never dealt with such incompentence in my 76 years. Very disturbing

My experience with the service department was great - start to finish. I will continue using them for car maintenance. I needed a new battery, they took care of a recall (that I was unaware of), and performed a diagnostic to reveal other items that needed attention. Sure, I could have gone to another auto shop, but I trusted that Toyota knows their product and could service my 2011 Prius better than anyone. Toyota- you didn t let me down.Special shout out to Destinee (the person I first encountered) whose caring and professional demeanor made me comfortable, and to Kenneth (my service advisor) who kept me informed during the repair process.My only complaint is that $1300 spent on goods and services deserved a courtesy car wash at the end.

I had an idling issue and they said bad gas. Never saw the diagnostic report. They said drain fuel and carborater clean out and that didn't work and came back with more costs. Their quote ended up $2700 far above market rate. Labor well over 50% of costs. They did drop the price, but still high.

Needed to get a recall fix for my vehicle, and decided to go ahead and get the free vehicle inspection to address any issues (at 200k miles, there's bound to be some stuff needed to be replaced).Got a detailed report of what needs to be serviced, and approved any of the services that I did my research to be critical, and which ones I can skip or have it done cheaper elsewhere. Nothing was done without my permission, so nothing hidden!First, I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Eunice Camacho. Most of my interaction was spent with her, and I always felt she was giving me the most transparent responses she could, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Everything was easy to understand. This was my first time interacting with a service dealership of any kind, so I really appreciated this dealership had someone like her in the department.Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Stephen Hollander. I came to pick up my vehicle, and they were the first person I saw so I approached them. I got a very rude and passive-aggressive tone when I didn't know who I left the vehicle with (I'm terrible with names), and they weren't being subtle about how inconvenient it was for them. My whole interaction was very uncomfortable and hostile with no apparent reason.Luckily, Eunice arrived back, and I immediately recognized them as being the person I dropped off the vehicle with. Stephen made another passive-aggressive comment, but I chose to ignore it. Eunice's responses were a complete 180 from Stephen's, and I became much more comfortable interacting with them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

First time servicing my car here and never coming back :1. Had called in a day earlier to confirm and was told that shuttle service would be provided. But did not get a shuttle service.2. Charged $10 extra for my oil change service just because it was an SUV. I did not have to pay extra at arlington dealership.Not happy with the customer service.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

The service is amazing! They have always taken care of my car since I first bought it and it has been a great experience. I definitely will continue maintenance with them. The staff is very polite and professional. They don t give you the run around and they re always helpful. I specially recommend Wesley. I am extremely disappointed with the Toyota dealership's service. I took my car in for an oil change and regular maintenance, but when I went to pick it up, they gave me someone else's car instead. I only realized this after taking a closer look at the car, and I immediately informed the staff that it was not my car.I was shocked that such a mistake could happen, and I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I hadn't noticed and taken someone else's car with me. What if my own car had been given to someone else?To make matters worse, the dealership did not compensate me for the inconvenience and stress caused by their mistake. I strongly advise anyone going to this dealership to make sure they check that their car is in good shape before leaving.This incident happened to me on December 10, 2022, and despite my personal issues, I felt it was important to share my experience with others. I hope the dealership takes this matter seriously and takes steps to prevent such mistakes from happening in the future.

My service advisor, Mike Oddo was the best. I had a wonderful experience. They were very transparent about problems they found and didn't try to push any services that I didn't need. The waiting room was very pleasant. Mike was the one who helped me. Very nice man, super helpful, very respectful. I'm very happy I took my car here.

Broke the clips off my wheel covers Replaced with cheap, thin/flimsy covers that cracked on the drive home. WORST SERVICE EVER. Waited forever, service attendants had poor attitudes. I purchased my car and bought the service plan with it from Toyota of Irving. I have been pleased with the plan until this past Monday. I arrived on time fo a 3 o'clock appt for routine service letting the advisor know I needed to be done by 4;30-4:45 PM. I was told it could take over an hour just for the oil change despite my appt. I had agreed to do 2 other items as part of the 30000 mile service. When I asked why it would take so long I was told "they don't start right away" even with an appt. Sounded fishy to me. When I told her to cancel the 2 items above the oil and tire rotation...all of a sudden she said she would work to get me taken care of. That sounded even stranger. In talking to a manager I found out that it takes so long because many cars are taken to a Quick Lube for oil changes. I spent $2000 for the maintanence plan only to have my car worked on by non Toyota personnel. I was told they were able to get my job done as originally agreed because they did it in house...which the advisor "worked out for me". I will be making certain that my car is worked on :in house" period going forward until the end of my plan and I will never buy another one. I know 2 really good mechanics and I will not pay Toyota rates for Quick Lube service. If you are reading this I hope you don't either.

I woke up to a flat due to a HUGE nail in my tire. I called as soon as I noticed it and was told to go in ASAP. I showed up, they checked my warranty and took my truck back. I had NO APPOINTMENT and I was in and out in a hour. My service advisor was EMMANUEL. He is absolutely great. Very nice, professional and always smiling! This is my second service at Toyota of Irving and they just keep going above and beyond with their fast service! Thank you so much! Went here for an oil change. 14 points inspection said I need replace my rear windshield wiper as no wiper was present. See for yourself! I wonder if they REALLY inspect the cars! Paper said with full synthetic, oil can be changed every 10K miles. Lady said I must change every 5K miles despite what their paper said. Wonder if I have to install a new rear windshield wiper again ? Did they actually look at anything or merely copy forward? At least the spacious waiting room was air conditioned.

I had a very busy Saturday. Our Service Manager (Mr. Josue Garza) got me in and out in less than an hour. I have been working with Mr. Garza for over one year now and he is the best Service Manager that I have ever worked with! I use to drive a Mercedes and dealt with their Service Department. Mercedes-Benz does a very good job, but Mr. Josue Garza does an excellent job. He always provides outstanding customer service!Services: Tires, Oil change

Toyota of Irving has been my home since 2012, Every Service Rep has been awesome. But, my favorite two are Janeane whon no longer works here and when she left she made sure i was in good hands with Ken. Ken's customer service has always been outstanding. He is very caring and a very kind person. He is knowledgeable about allot of service questions thatI may ask him..I can,,'t say enougha him about Ken. Just he is awesome.I will say this the service reps who are out front moving cars are GREAT. very Attentive they made sure i was helped and all of then had great customer service skills.
