So basically I went to them because I have! (Had) CarShield spoke with a mechanic not sure if his name short Mexican kinda buff kinda basically told him all the issues I had been having didn t look at my car stayed at all stated that car shield will charge me more than they say and that I basically needed a new engine without looking at my car. At the bottom is a mechanic Wes that looked all he did was look and it ended up being a leak a simple leak that is now fixed all that mechanic had to do was look needless to say car shield did nothing for me.

2.5 hours to do an oil change and over priced. Also most clean or vacuum floor mats. Not recommend

This place is honest and trustworthy. They work fast and are under good leadership with Jon at the front desk. He was very personable and a delight to work with as I prepared to take my car across the country. I would recommend this place if you want good work done fast without unnecessary add-ons or upsells for a fair price.

Even though it's July and (HOT) I knew I wasn't the only one with A/C issues and the line of cars at Rick's Auto Repair reflected that however I was greeted with a smile and a "good morning, how can we help"? I was asked if I could leave the car overnight and was assured they would look at it and call me the next day........24 hours later I received a call from Brian telling me the car was ready and what service was done to the car.Very pleased with the quality of service and the fair price.Service: Auto A/C recharge

Sold me a bad tire used tire that is. My car was vibrating all over the road they said they had a bubble in it. I went back to exchange it they gave me a bunch of BS. However they finally agreed to exchange the tire for another one. Telling everyone who goes there to be careful because they have a small sign that says all sales are final. They act like they did not care but then when I said they will hear from me because they said they're not going to change it that changed their mind. And they changed it there are two or three people who are really nice they are Hispanic even though I could not speak Spanish that well. I would recommend them but use caution when you buy a tire make sure you can see it before they mount it. They did not balance the tire at all.

Rick's has taken care of my family's vehicles for nearly 30 years. We have trusted them with our brand new cars, and more importantly, with our vehicles as they have aged. I know that they will be straight with me and tell me when something needs to be done, and I have never once felt like they were upselling me. I have no idea how their prices compare to other shops, because I have never bothered to go elsewhere. They have kept our cars roadworthy and my family safe, and I recommend them without reservation. Full engine replacement and ac work ;) did what they said in a really reasonable time. Prices are too be expected with good quality work.

I put my Tahoe in the shop for repairs on I had my oil changed and a new radiator in stalled it took 2 to days to get my radiator shipped from Chicago. The staff is friendly and gets your work done in a timely manner. They called with updates and made sure my vehicle received what it needed. Rick s is the only place I take my SUV for repairs. Three generations of my family have been taking their vehicles to Ricks and we ve never had a bad experience. The guys are honest, kind, and incredibly accommodating. So grateful to know my car is always in good hands & that I m paying the fairest price possible - every time. By far the WORST experience I ve had with any service provider. My vehicle was at the shop for 3 months. No action was taken unless I called or went to the location to ask for an update. The issues seemed to go exponentially as well as the cost. To make things worse than I could possibly have predicted I was quoted over the phone a certain dollar amount that turned out to $2000 more than I was told. With the conversation being over the phone I was brushed off and told I had no choice but to pay it to get my vehicle back. I also pulled my vehicle to go to ANOTHER shop with the integrity and service level needed to drive my car again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Corey had very good communication with me. He fully explained what was broken about my AC and the potential causes of why it was broken. They were very clear on the charges and were very quick to get to my repair. The AC was blowing very cold after pickup. Very satisfied with my experience with Ricks. I have brought in my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for service two times. I assure you this Ricks location is outstanding! Awesome customer service, superior mechanics, all work spectacular! I will never take my Jeep to any other place except if it needs a paint job! And then, I will ask for a referral from Ricks!The place is clean, people are super kind! No problems whatsoever! Service Writers , Tim, Corey and Mechanic Randy provided excellent Customer Service. They exhibited great knowledge of their jobs. It was refreshing to me as a customer not to be given a hard sales pitch, not to be talked into services that were not needed on my car. They all put me at ease and spoke in terms I was able to understand.All the work I requested was completed.When it came to the selection of Tires.Tim was very helpful , taking the time to find out what type of performance I was looking for in my Tires This is very important as I drive less than 10 miles a week so I was looking for a different type of a tire. I did not need a super high performance tire that one would use for driving cross country or heavy traffic. Not only did Tim help me with my selection he also researched to find a Quality tire in the price range which is very important 5o me as a retiree. He kept me updated as to the status of the receipt of my tires. Randy the Mechanic performed lots of work on my car . When needed Randy would come from the garage to give me an update status. Once the work was done on the car Randy just did not hand the car over I saw him take it out for a test ride as I had all four tires replaced,the TPMS sensors , replacement of the valve cover gasket, reset tire pressure monitor system, power steering fluid service, oil lube and filter, that is oil filter. I was advised and updated as the services were performed. Randy was professional and I was impressed that he updated me as to what was going on because I wanted quite a bit of service performed on my vehicle. Corey was the first Service Writer that I saw when I came in the week prior I, was impressed that he did not try to sell me services that I did not need I will not name another company I had been to in the Irving area that was wanting to sell me a lot of unnecessary services. Many people in Irving �ome to Rick's.They have website with a list of all of their services and where you can conveniently schedule an appointment. Thank you so much Tim, Randy, and Corey .You we're all polite, respectful and professional I will return when it's time to rotate my tires and there is also another service that I will need to get done in the future (worn motor mounts)Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

On a very busy day, I arrived for my appointment scheduled through Goodyear website. For some reason, it was not in their computer. However they told me they could fit me in, in 90 minutes. I came back in 90 minutes and they installed my tires in an hour. I really could not have asked for anything more, they were pretty great to deal with. Very pleasant and helpful. Amazing experience! Eric and Daniel set the bar highest I've seen for an autoshop in regards to professionalism and customer service. As a female I felt fully comfortable and respected as well. I blew a fuse and had to have my car towed. Once diagnostics were performed, they discovered a fuse blew. After making numerous calls and searching for the needed fuse, one was finally found and installed. They checked to make sure everything else was up and running.During the two week span of searching for the part, Corey, kept me up to date as to what was going on. Corey was awesome in taking the time to go above and beyond to do the extensive search for the right part!I will refer others to Rick s for auto repair and will seek their assistance in the future for my card needs! I normally work on my own vehicles because of bad experiences with mechanics, but sometimes I need help and Rick's Automotive was the first auto repair shop I thought of. Reception staff very professional and accommodating. They only charged me for the ac recharge instead of trying to orchestrate the need for unnecessary repairs. They also communicated with me while car was there. I recommend Rick's Automotive and when I need help again, I will return. Thanks Guys. Service: Auto A/C recharge

The guys on the front desk were friendly & took my info quickly. I had to wait a very short time for their help & they arranged for a ride home. I was referred by another mechanic shop to get my wheels checked to this shop and they fixed my wheels pulling to the right. I brought my car from a different wheel alignment shop prior and they never correct my issue. Another repair shop quoted me to replace most of my front end mechanical parts and it's very costly! Ricks diagnosed and properly aligned my wheels and now I have peace of mind and not spending my savings from other unreliable shops. Beware, of other wheel alignment shops that's not reputable and never do it correctly just from my experience.Service: Wheel alignment

These guys do a great job! I've taken my car here twice and both times I was provided great customer service. On both occasions I got my car back the same day I dropped it off! Plus the prices are affordable. This place is fast, the people are friendly and honest, also they're not overly priced. I highly recommend it! Thank you!!

I visited this location on a Friday and was thoroughly pleased. It was a personalized experience. They got my vehicle in, performed my oil change, and sent me on my way. Richie was able to get to our vehicle right away, kept us updated about the problem with our vehicle. Richie and Raymond both were very courteous and explained everything done to repair our vehicle. I drive an old car with a fair number of miles on it. I have taken it to Rick s Tire and Auto three times now. I trust them to do good work. They re very helpful and accommodating and they ve always been very nice to me. They stayed with it for two days trying figure out specifically why all the lights on my dashboard were flashing and beeping instead of just repairing something hoping it might be the correct issue. Rick s automotive is one of the best mechanical shops in Texas. The employees are very experienced and knowledgeable when it s time to explain what s going on with your vehicle. They actually find out the issue with your vehicle and make sure that you understand the cause of the issue and not trying to scam you out of your money. Took my tire for a second opinion since it was completely flat one morning. Dropped it off and when they called to pick it up we discussed that they couldn't find the leak. I specifically asked if they unmounted and re-sealed the bead. They said yes. I highly doubted it. The first shop OVER filled to 60psi. What a coincidence that it was exact same psi when I picked it up.Service: Tires

I have been to this shop may times without issue, until now. They damaged my car and refuse to take responsibility. My car was nearly flawless when it went in to their shop, but came out with a series of dent across the hood. I was dealing with a new manager for the first time and will not be back to deal with him again. I choose to deal with honest people. Take your car somewhere else.Service: Steering & suspension repair
