If you need a good mechanic lopez auto is the place for you. Fast, Fair and, friendly. Can't go wrong with this place. I am very happy with the service I received. This is the second time I have used them and both times were great.

They replaced my gasket and what not but did not screw my pully for my belt in at all. The belt ended up ripping off and the screw to get the hydraulic loose to put a new one on has been stripped. Now my dad who usually does the work on my Honda pilot knows it never had this issue till I took it to Lopez. I will not be going back there after he gave my truck back and the shop created this issue for me. I told him about it before I took off with it and he managed to say that we brought it in this way.i know what work is done on my truck and the condition it is in. I maybe a female but I know about this work. Just not a honest place to go.. they give it back with more issue so u can go back.

Very intelligent front desk/shop crew, extremely friendly and reasonable prices. I took My Scion TC for a complete Clutch Kit Repair/Replace early 2021 and still running strong and my Wife's Mitsubishi Outlander Sport around the same time after multiple shops not being able to locate the issue on her SUV. My Father in Law told me about this shop, and now I see why he has been a loyal customer for years. Lopez Auto located the problem and explained what they found so we, as owners of the vehicle and customers, knew, and they fixed the problem without a problem. I will definitely be back for any necessary maintenance on any of my current or future vehicles.The only con is they are closed on Weekends, but everybody needs their family time, so I understand!Overall spectacular experience, 5 Stars indeed!!

Called to ask if they could patch a tire for me since I live down the street and have been here before for other call repairs. Got a whole bunch of condescending attitude and unnecessary disrespect. A simple " we don't patch tires" would have made a negative 2 minute conversation into a 15 second conversation. Lost a costumer on this one.

Wow, this place is utterly rude, and I have no idea why they would have such a high Google rating. I called and said, I m just calling to get a quote, and the response was, I don t have time to give quotes. And the guy hangs up the phone. You re not going to give me the price that you would charge me for work? Are you out of your mind? What type of joke outfit is this, and why do so many people have positive things to say? Fake reviewers?

They're not interested in finding out what the problem is. They're interested in quick repairs so they can get to the next car and make more money. What happens after it leaves the shop doesn't concern them one bit.Why I say that:4 months ago my car ran rough. I knew a local mechanic who was able to replace 3 spark plugs and 2 coils but one spark plug wouldn't come out. The car ran better but not great. And then it wouldn't start.The battery was strong and the starter was fine, the engine just wouldn't stay running. It ran rough, then died. Repeatedly.On a recommendation I took my car to Lopez.Besides not starting I told them I have to add a little water every day and I have a slow oil leak.After 4 DAYS of scratching their heads (their words) they finally figured out the problem: they needed to replace all 4 spark plugs and 2 coils, and charge me $400.I explained that 3 spark plugs and 2 coils were 2 weeks old. He said, "They were the wrong plugs." Even though they were recommended by the parts house I used. Nonetheless, I agreed and they replaced all 4 with brand new spark plugs.What about the water leak and oil leak? "Couldn't find anything. That'll be $400. And we close at 5:00"Just under 4 MONTHS later it wouldn't start again.When I called to tell them I was bringing it in I gave my name and told the man that I had my car there before. He said nothing. Except for his favorite thing to say every chance he gets. "We close at 5:00."I said I just want to make sure you knew it was there recently. He said, "Yeah, you keep saying that."I said it once. Since he didn't respond I assumed he didn't hear me. Silly me, I thought he would want to look up the history to see what they did 4 months ago. I didn't expect to be mocked.Nonetheless, I went ahead and took it to Lopez. They told me it would be a couple days before they had a chance to take a look. They would call me.Again, silly me. I thought they would. They did not.After 2 days of waiting, I called them. They had looked at it but not called me. But, they were going to keep looking at it, and would call me back within the hour.24 hours went by.So I called again.EVERY time I called they answered the phone:"Lopez Auto repair.""Hi, I...""Please hold."The hold times were lengthy. One time they hung up on me. I called back and said, "I guess you accidentally hung up on me." Immediately he said, "What did you do, hang up and call me right back?"Really??Every phone call I had was similar. Condescending, not writing down notes, and they don't seem to be paying attention. Some times even argumentative.Anyway he told me that they needed to replace all 4 spark plugs! And the battery.I explained that they just put 4 new plugs on it 4 months ago. With a belligerent tone I was told they had fouled out and they all had to be replaced. Do you want us to fix it so you can have it this weekend or not? Also it needs a battery.Which is weird because it didn't need a battery when I was trying to start it at home 2 days before...I asked him what fouled the spark plugs and he said they had no idea. But they will look into it.They never called back to tell me for sure if my car would be ready before they close. So at 4:00 on Friday I called - Again. And was told it would be ready. "And we close at 5:00."I had to scramble to get my son to drive an hour to come pick me up and get me there before they closed. More lead time would have been great. But they don't care.When we were almost there I called to say we're close, we'll be there before you close. He said, "There's always one of you guys. We close at 5:00."Always one of you guys? Really?? I'm Rushing to come give you my money and that's what you say?When I arrived I asked again what caused the plugs to be fouled. "We have no idea. Here's your key. That'll be $460."If you choose to have your car repaired at Lopez, keep in mind that they don't actually do a repair. They just put a band-aid on it. And a few months later they'll put another band-aid on it. Very expensive band-aids.

Can't say enough as to how I was treated. Several things needed attention and was taken care of in a timely. As a senior citizen it is so comforting to have people that you can trust.

I'm giving 5 starts because of their honesty. I was so pleased with the upfront honesty when I called in about my vehicle, they did give good advice and it was very much welcomed. I will however take my other vehicle to them because I can always trust honesty. That alone says a lot about their shop and employees.

Robbie and his team were an amazing help! I had an issue with my truck and had to tow it to their shop. I had to tell them over the phone what had been wrong with it and they gave me an estimation for it. I later asked for another part to be fixed while they had my truck which led to them locating a problem that couldve been hazardous to drive with, even with it all it was a reasonable price (nearly $410 less total than a chain shop I had initially asked.) I felt confident that my vehicle was in good hands and even better after meeting robbie and having a conversation about everything. It's also such a relief to know their work is guaranteed! I'll forsure be back! Thanks again!

I've been a repeat customer for 18 years and they have never let me down. Most honest and best work you can get from a Mechanic shop. They never try to rip you off and fix your car right the first time. Robbie runs his shop with integrity, good work and competitive prices, that's why they have so many repeat customers like myself.He'll take care of you and have your car fixed quickly!

Amazing service. Amazing mechanics, and amazing prices. They do not cheat you and understand your time. I don t know anything about cars, but coming here I ve never felt cheated or given the run-around.

My favorite mechanic. They always fix my car (2010 Ford) and find a way to make it cost less than any one else. The best part of the visit is the chonky office cat, Clutch.

Disappointing experience after seeing such positive reviews on next doorWas told what my car needed without getting any specific treatment plan, options or cost from them, even though it was an extensive cost and repairFelt as if they treated me like a dumb female and I don t think they would have spoken to my husband that way. Super frustrating

The worse service. Probably many of you will disagree. I took my car to their to reemplace rear breaks. Well, they call me later on the day to pic up my car because was "ready". After I drove my car I hear the same noise. Then, I took back a couple days latter to their shop, for checking. I waited all day for them to call me. I finally call them to find out if the car was ready becuae they didn't call. They told me I can go head an pic up m_ car. They told me that the problem was the rear breaks so. They had to be reemplaced them. They never reemplace the first time. Tey lie to me and charge me, bad service. Not honest people. Also, the old guy at the front desk was very rude. Very irresponsible people. I will ne ver come back to that trashy place.

My mother and I have been going to the Lopez family auto shop since I was in grade school. I'm in my 40s now and the senior Lopez has handed the mantle to his very capable sons. The Lopez family has cared for every car I've had that wasn't factory warrantied at the time of service. They're upfront, so not proceed without your understanding the need and expected costs, have gone out of their way to help me find a trusted third party when the work needed was not their scope, such as frame or body work. Good mechanics, good prices dependable, good people.

The day I called I was told they d have the side mirror of my ram truck that was parked on side street (knocked off my a stranger in middle of night) repaired the same day and it was. Incidentally an elderly customer of their s fell head first in their parking lot, was taken to parkland hospital by air flight and all broken bones and injuries taken care of because The Lopez owners sprang into immediate action . My repairs are excellent and so is their customer who fell face first and broke bones. Thanks be to GOD Great service and Heaven Blessed

Arrived early due to battery deciding to go out. Lucky I had prearranged a replacement. Robbery n Lopez Auto got right to it and replaced and fixed under wheel covers which were left open from 5 years ago. Thank you So much. Great service n professionalism.

Saying a BIG thank you just isn t enough - Lopez Auto Repair is beyond a terrific place to bring your vehicle for service. My father always said, you always stick with an honest mechanic ...and Robby Lopez and his team are just tremendous at identifying the issues & troubleshooting the unusual sounds, and then fixing them to help you get your car or truck back out on the road. Having grown up in Irving, and now living near Frisco, I still make the hour drive to Lopez Auto Repair because I know Robby and his guys are going to get it fixed and I never have to question the costs, it s a wonderful feeling to know my wife, daughter & son, all drive older vehicles that are all kept running by the outstanding team at Lopez Auto Repair.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

I took my mom's car in since I didn't know when was the last time she had it checked up. It's difficult as a woman and especially a woman who does not know a lick about cars to go to an auto repair place. It's daunting because depending on the place they can really take you to the cleaners and you wouldn't know any better. When I arrived at Lopez Auto Repair, I was warmly greeted by the manager, Robby, and Clutch, the cat. Robby did not speak to me as if he knows more than me (he did) and just kindly walked through his recommendations. The car was done within the day with a printout of everything they checked for, what they replaced and a call to give me a recap. They truly only do what's necessary, I feel 100% confident giving the car back to my mom and that she will be safe. The price is 1/10th of what I'm normally charged, a major plus. Thanks so much to Lopez Auto Repair- the whole team is awesome. I am definitely bringing in mine and my husbands!
