This was my first use of Driver's Edge and I'm pleased!!! I have a Fixit and they are a verified service provider. We got an early appointment and they handled tires, oil change, brakes, etc same day. Their communication on the estimate with pictures was perfect. They are willing to discuss importance and options when desired. I have found my new car service shop!!! I recommend Driver's Edge for anyone looking for good honest service.

This place really cares and does an excellent job. Jovona was incredibly helpful and filled my coolant level at no charge when I was in a bit of a hurry. I highly recommend, if you want high quality service and a great price.

On Saturday in February my family and I were on our way to Six Flags went unfortunately our car broke down. we called our roadside service and had it towed to the nearest place to where we had broken down on the side of the interstate. We rented a car so we could continue our plan for the day. Our car was towed to drivers edge in Arlington Texas who called us to tell us that they had the car and they would be looking at it all seemed fine . until Monday rolled around on Monday. My wife got a text message with a list of all the things that Car needed such as tire s, struts, and a few other things. I ll keep in mind I just had struts put on the car in the middle of December so I knew it didn t need any new ones but that s not what this is about.After looking at the report drivers edge sent us and realizing that they said they couldn t find anything wrong with the carI called them to find out what was going on and again was told they could not repeat the problem but they had driven the car 13 miles and found no problems. They even scanned it and the transmission and everything was fine. I could come and retrieve my car And by the way, it would be $149 service fee for diagnostics my wife and I went and picked up the car. I spoke with the service manager, who assured me that they drove the car plenty they even let it warm up to drive it and if there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car now keep in mind I just spent $500 to rent a car for the weekend to take my family to Six Flags, now I have to pay $149 for them to tell me nothing wrong with the car that I clearly know something wrong with. I got my car I paid $149 unhappily and left. 4 miles down the road my car left me stranded again for the same problem. I just paid $149 to be told wasn t there. I managed to get the car home and took it to my mechanic at Destin AUTOcare in Princeton Texas. While I waited a whole 15 minutes for them to look at the car and they came out and told me I m sorry the car needs a transmission so I left the car with Dustin automotive. I thought it was under warranty. Dustin automotive called me unfortunately and said that it was not but they had good news. They got it covered under warranty by Nissan, I was in a loaner car that they gave me while they looked at mine. I had my car towed to Nissan for repairs and Destin auto in Princeton Texas. Let me keep their loaner an extra day but I m still out $149 for drivers edge to tell me nothings wrong with the car that is now at the Nissan dealer being repaired and getting a whole new transmission under warranty never in my life if I ve been treated so poorly at a automotive place it s a good thing that I was there. I cannot imagine what they would ve done if my wife would ve taken the car alone, I cannot tell you how poor the service was at this place, and I will never ever ever recommend a drivers edge or that place to anybody.

They were very fast and upfront with everything! Got my car diagnosed and serviced within a few hours! No surprises and the team was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Would deffinetly recommend! They went above and beyond to get my car repaired

Complete crooks. Avoid this place at all cost. I went in to make sure my brakes were okay as it was raining and wanted to be sure. They told they would do complementary diagnostics and if I did need any service would be charged for it. They found nothing wrong so were discussing how can we con the customer and take money from innocent customers. They were unwilling to return the keys to the car until I went ahead and paid the fee alone was 150 dollars for nothing. They did not even provide an invoice which I realized later and therefore as you can see its completely fishy and unethical. I just wanted to get out of the situation. Avoid this place at all cost or else you would regret it. They will charge you unnecessarily or overcharge you.

I recently had my Nissan Altima 2016 serviced at this location. Very professional and honest was what my experience was. And listening to the team speak to other clients was still the same professional but honest. I truly recommend this location for this reason.

The service advisor was very professional and helpful in answering questions about the check engine light that popped up on my Mazda 3. He also honored the coupon on a free check engine light diagnostics. He gave me a thorough explanation of the problem, which was a transmission gear solenoid issue, and a recommended course of action. He did not pressure me to do the repair, for which I appreciate a lot.

I had the battery replaced in my Pontiac Solstice, I informed them twice before they did the job that based on the location of the battery the front panel would have to be removed and I was assured they could handle the job and take care of it. They attached the panel back on unaligned to where the door will barely open and scratched up the paint. Spoke to manager Trey his advise: I ll attach it back the best that I can, but you should have went to a car dealership. We can take the panel back off and remove the battery, and give you a refund and the unattached panel so that you can go to a body shop if you wound like. That s the level of professionalism and competence that you get at this place. I will take this to the TOP!Service: Battery

Got a great deal, downside is I waited 3 hours for an oil change. Watched an older antique car pull in and something that should take about 20 mins went up to 3 hours wasted my whole day. Also my car smelled like straight cigarettes when it was done, I ll just do it myself next time.

I would rate zero if I could. My car overheating while I was driving. I did a self diagnosis and saw that my radiator was cracked. I brought it in and Troy the clerk told me they needed to do their own diagnosis which would be 150$ dollars, I agreed possibly I missed something. After waiting for 2 hours and not seeing anyone look at my car they came with an estimate. The estimate was over 4k in repairs. A lot the repairs they said was needed was already done. The remove it off my estimate after I showed proof that it was already done. Then they tried to charge 1100 dollars for a radiator job. I walked out. I fixed the issue myself in under 30 minutes with 170 for a radiator. This is the biggest scam. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Please avoid this place at any cost. I went to change my brake pads. They mentioned that they will run the diagnostics and let me know in case of any other issues. According to the report besides tire all the other things are perfect. After changing the brake pad and Tires, I started having having bad noise while applying and releasing brakes. I went back as the previous service under warranty. First day they told me they need the whole day to check my car. Next day when I went, they checked and mentioned sound is coming for other reasons and they nmeed to run diagnostics even though they ran it while doing their service and I need to pay for it. This is quite unfortunate. IN my presence I observed other customers are coming because of their previous services with complaints. PLease dont go to this place.

On road trip from Chicago to Irving, Texas, my car's check engine icon came on - this was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I took car in and before end of the day problem was diagnosed and by the end of day Friday car was repaired! Everyone (Teddy, Trace,etc.) was professional - patiently answered all questions and thoroughly explained issue. I would whole-hearted recommend Driver's Edge to anyone whose car needs servicing!!

Don t bring your car here I brought my car here Mercedes for a fuel pump change and they charge me 900 dollars when it cost 400 for a fuel pump , to top it off they didn t fully fixed it when I got my car back the gas mileage wasn t showing they didn t reprogram it and they over charged me 2700. I need a refund and need to speak HR about this . DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE .

I am pleased with the service at Driver s Edge in Irving, TX. Sherman was amazing at helping to diagnose the wiring issue my Cadillac Escalade had and got me back on the road in 24 hours. Afterwards, the check engine light was still on, and Sherman investigated his work and found the issue resolved in a few hours. Great work!Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Dishonest and slow. Kept telling me that it would only take 15 minutes. It took 1 1/2 hours to even start, over 2 hours to finish. For a basic oil change. PLUS.., cost more money. NEVER AGAIN

Just wanted to post saying from the time I walked through the door I was greeted, and asked to hold one moment but then once phone call was completed my service needs got handled timely.Then was continually updated on progress of my vehicle and status. Overall, I had a good experience at Driver's Edge. It's a clean, quiet, safe auto shop. I requested an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation online but never received confirmation. When I called, I learned that this location is only accepting drop-offs because it's short-staffed. The employee whom I talked to couldn't tell me how long the service would take, but he was polite and professional. The oil change and tire rotation took about 2.5 hours. The mechanic recommended a wheel alignment, which took another 1.75 hours. The price was cheaper than I expected. I would go back again. I'd just recommend that you avoid going close to a holiday (July 4th, in this case), so the auto shop isn't as busy.Services: Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Oil change

New to the area so googled State auto inspections - Drivers Edge popped up and their reviews lived up to my experience.Walked in with no appointment- hassle free check in (even tho it was my first visit) - super friendly service!Very clean business, you can tell they care! This will be my go-to in my new part of town! Keep up the good work!

I took my car to this place for them to replace the oil plug that was damaged by Valvoline oil change place on N MacArthur. They caused more damage and I had to take my car to the dealership to get it fixed. I am taking legal action against Valvoline and since Driver's Edge is also involved, I needed to send them a letter. I called them and talked to Troy their manager and asked for address to their headquarters. He told me that he didn't have the information and I needed to Google it! So much for customer service! If you take your car their, I hope you think of their business integrity and mode of operation! Asking me, if a business can not back their services and don't even have their own headquarters' address and phone number readily available, that is a huge red flag!!!
