I went to get a simple state inspection done. The woman whom I was dealing with was not only rude and insulting but absolutely just nasty in her attitude. Customer service is not well to do at this place,maybe by the kind man who works on the vehicles but not by the lady who does inspections. I walked in and and explained my registration sticker had been out since September. She scolded me on that, which was fine as she was just educating me. A man walked in behind me and was there for the same thing and they explained to him he would be next in line behind me. They asked for insurance and I had it on my phone so the lady had my phone and was looking at it.She made a comment "whew, someone is wearing way to much perfume!" I explained its more than likely my cars air freshener, as it was new. She went on to throw a whole fit about my insurance being from North Dakota, I explained my Husband is a veteran and that he has more than enough coverage to appease the state of Texas and how he had a residence in North Dakota. She asked my address and I told her a few times and she would holler out "what! I'm hard of hearing!" The guy beside me was so uncomfortable with her back handed comments about how I smell and her tone and attitude he got up and went outside. She stated "leave that door open if that's you that smells like that!" I then snatched my phone and explained I'd go somewhere else as she'd insulted me enough for the day. I'm sorry Karen that I don't smell like oil and grease and body odor, I'm sorry my insurance with USAA was not appeasing enough for you, and I'm sorry my money was no good there for you! I chose this place because I have a home in this town and wanted to spend my money somewhere local and family owned instead of a big named company. I had high expectations to find a small business for mine and my families car needs. Thank you for being an absolute jerk and trying to ruin my day simply for trying to give you business. By the way I went to one of the big named guys right after and I've experienced nothing but a positive environment and friendly service as well as they absolutely took my insurance with no problems. I hope you have the day you deserve as your already miserable in life already and apparently I'm assuming it couldn't get any worse for you.

overall was good and fair but the lady that works the front desk always has an attitude or certain town towards people most places I go don t talk like that also when on the phone been here before for another car a couple years back everything would be top tier if the lady didn t have attitude who wants to come back to a place like that when the lady makes the atmosphere horrible to be in and not welcoming

We are new to the area and got a referral to Quality Automotive. I took my diesel pickup on for 100K maintenance and oil change. Roger was very knowledgeable about diesels and does most of that work himself. He and his wife were very friendly when I told them I was new to the area. I also have a company car that requires ARI Fleet services. I called ARI to get shop names and then went by to ask Roger his opinion on each shop. Both shops were out of business. He recommended Allen Samuel's Dodge for that service. His wife does the state inspections herself so you need to schedule ahead for that. Quality Automotive will be my vehicle service provider going forward. Family run business that operates with honesty and integrity.

I could not be happier with the service. Being new to the area I was leery about where to go to get my AC checked out. They were able to get me in on short notice, diagnosed the problem accurately and got it fixed quickly. All without pushing unnecessary repairs and at reasonable rates. They are a rare find, honest, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to my Mom... and I love my Mom. : )

I had the ideal repair experience with Rodger at Quality Automotive. He diagnosed and repaired my AC problems quickly and for a VERY fair price. He also showed me a few other issues that I had under the hood that I was not previously aware of. I will absolutely be returning to this shop with all of my future repair needs. I recommend them!Fair prices.Good people.Quality work.

My wife's car had a bad battery, brakes were shot, and also needed the inspection done. The a/c hadn't been working either so I needed a diagnosis. They replaced the battery and the transmission tube that had broken off upon request. We spoke about my automotive experience since I have a degree, and how unable Todo the work myself at my apt. They actually let me go in the shop to show me the problems, a lot of shops wouldn't allow that but they did! They kept me updated on everything going on so I could stay within budget since it was a lot of work. I wasn't able to get the a/c fixed since the entire system was shot, the repair quote for it was still very reasonable though. Did amazing with everything else though and I will take it to them to fix the a/c once I saved for it. Very honest people and friendly, had some great conversations with them and would recommend to anyone.Services: Transmission, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery

This man Roger is awesone he replaced my camshaft pully and at a very fair and reasonable price so I could make it back to Houston. When I retire and come back home this will be my Machanic place right here. His wife and him are very nice people and talk to you and with you, as well as his Machanics on hand. I highly recommend this place. Thank you very much Roger.

I was given an estimate from a different repair shop in Portland on a job they said needed to be complete. I took it to Roger and crew at Quality Automotive to get a second opinion. They checked out my daughters vehicle and saved me over $500

We travel the country working in the pipeline industry so we know it's hard to find a good mechanic shop in most towns. Ingleside you are lucky to have a place to go with good, honest, hard working people like the folks at Quality Automotive! They agreed to help us with lights on our 12' utility trailer which is not a big profit job. They rewired the hole trailer and added extra insulation and protected the wiring so we won't have any problems in the future. My wife happily paid them what they charged and I'm headed back to give them a 50$ tip and a handshake!!!!

This is by far the right shop to go to. Roger was very helpful and dealt with my problem fast. This shop took care of me and only charges a fair fee for service. So many other places over charge, but that's a worry you won't have, coming to Quality Automotive.

Rodger and his team are awesome and get the job done right. They offer Jasper Engines and Transmission products with a 3yr / 100000 mile warranty. Parts and labor with option for towing and car rental.

I went there to get an inspection and the lady was outrageously RUDE- seriously?!! She had no idea when she could get to my car or did she even care-?? No parking! I would NOT recommend

I came here for a state inspection. They took care of it quickly and I appreciate that. However, the woman in the front office was very rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever. I probably wouldn't go back unless I really couldn't find another place.

My car broke down while we were on vacation they got to it quick and had my girls and I back on road. So much more friendly and professional than the local dealership was. Would reccomend him to anyone in area

Best shop in the area to take your vehicle or diesel!! Service was super fast and everyone there is amazingly friendly. Not to mention it only cost half of what I planned for!! Will most definitely be back!!!!

My Durango gave them a hard time but they made sure that everything was fixed before handing me the keys back. They kept me informed with the problems my suv gave them and it didn t cost me and arm and a leg for labor.

Roger has worked on all my vehicles for many years, he is fair, honest and the only mechanic I go to for any repair. Nana is always polite and helpful.

We use Quality Automotive years ago when they were in Aransas Pass. Had a 1 ton dually and no one would take us in for repairs that we needed. I was given the name equality automotives from a friend, I call them and spoke with Rodger and he told me what he thought the problem was and how much it was going to cost us. We brought it in the next day and it was exactly what he thought it was and I paid exactly what he said it would cost. I haven't had my 1 ton dually for several years and I knew Rodger had moved his business to Ingleside. I just had a Winter Texan come to my home and asked me if I knew of any repair places that worked on diesels. I told him about Quality Automotive and that they had moved to Ingleside but not sure just where they were. I called and like always in the past had a very courteous woman on the phone and she told me where they were located. I in turn told a friend and he will be heading Quality Automotive shortly. By the reviews I see Rodger has kept the same quality and prices and honesty that he's had throughout the years. I will always recommend Quality Automotive if anyone asks for a good auto mechanic.

I ran into this guy years ago when he was in AP. We were both stationed in Pearl Harbor at the same time but on different ships.Machinist, Mechanic,are some of my background skill sets. He's had to work on my vehicles on occasion and its always like the sign says.QUALITY WorkDone professionally!In a Timely manner!Thank You for your service!3 Cheers for the snipe! Everyone's jobs are equally important in the Navy! Without Engineers we don't go anywhere. Without Twigets, they don't know where TO go....Seriously, Thanks to the land of the free! Fast service and cheaper rates than other shops I called to compare rate for repair. The only problem was I had electrical repair done and I did have an alert go off when I got home, but they were able to reset computer in just a few minutes the next day.

This is probably the thee worst place to go to if you need a vehicle inspection. The lady at the desk, Ms. Francisca Townsend, is extremely rude and has a sorry attitude. She yells at everything and slams doors like if shes the owner of the vehicle. I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.
