Southern diesel repair is one of the worst companies in the industry. They own the wrecker service sdr towing. In 2019 my truck broke down and I was pulling a fully loaded 35 ft travel trailer on top of a bridge. I called AAA for a tow. They dispatched SDR WRECKER SERVICE and when the wrecker driver arrived he told me that me and my family would have to ride in my truck that was being towed. (I informed him that it was illegal to ride in a towed car ( I drove a wrecker for 10 + yrs the driver hooked up my truck ( with my travel trailer still attached) to the wheel lift and did NOT put straps on the wheels ( the truck should have been loaded on the flatbed wrecker and the trailer hooked up on wheel lift) the driver and .e and family got in his wrecker and he took off..he drove 200 yards to a stop sign and when he put on his brakes my truck jumped over the wheel lift and damaged my truck that ended up costing me 3000.00 out of pocket to fix. The company and their insurance company refused to pay for damages. I reported it to the BBB and AAA Is still investigating it...WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS........................ALSO IF YOU LOOK UP THE COMPANY THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR NAMES PROBEBLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN SUED ALOT

Worse Mechnic shop ever. Took truck to shop because it was leaking antifreeze and ac just stop working. Tech told me that I had to replace locking clamps on radiator and the hvac system needed a new compressor condenser return line a air dryer. Said it would cost 5700 total. Told them to go to hell. I went to dealership and purchase everything list and some other parts far less than 1000 . Please be careful dealing with this shop ..

I called Southern Diesel to see if they could get my trailer in for a stripped lug nut, the woman on the phone seemed very nice and willing to help. I send my driver with the trailer and three hours later I get a call saying they need to replace a stud and cannot find it at any location around them. I offer to pick one up on the other side of town and take it to the them so I can avoid delivery charges. Finally after waiting all day to get my trailer fixed, I get my bill and they have charged me almost $90 for a "parts run." I try to get clarification on this and am told that they still had to physically drive to three different locations to check for the part. First, I was never asked if I wanted this service at this price. Second, common sense says you should call and check before driving out. Lastly, I could have sent an Uber driver to pick it for cheaper than what they're charging. Out of my whole experience I will say the mechanic working on my trailer was very knowledgeable and was happy to help, even gave me heads up on replacing my brake drums in the near future. My small conversation with the mechanic is the only reason I give this place two stars. I'd highly recommend you find any other repair shop to do business with, this place is severely over priced and doesn't communicate well.

I would give zero stars if the option was available. Bring your own parts and they charge $125 (not 95) per hour and you will likely deal with multiple people and multiple prices. Bringing you own parts is of little help because they just keep adding even more hours at $125 and it will nearly cost as much if they had provided the parts. If a job should take 8 hours and you provide the parts, don't expect to get charged for 8 hours. Expect more like 12 or even 14 hours. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired to say the least. Just asking for directions can result in rude replies and completely wrong directions. Ask why a price increases and you never get a straight answer. Why bring your own parts you ask. Well $81 for a 2106 wheel seal is just one example. The bottom line is I wouldn't recommend the shop to anyone. Excessive parts prices and ridiculous labor charges seems to be a common complaint on reviews. After dealing with them, not by choice, I find the low star reviews to be reflective of my experience with the company. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable shop in the area if you go to the Dallas area and avoid Southern Diesel Repair.

The customer service that Southern Diesel Repair offers is extremely unsatisfactory. The reason I decided to use them is because there website is well put together, and the wording on their services such as " quick, efficient; that won t break the bank" caught my attention. It took them nearly 10 hours to repair our broken water pump (big rig vehicle), and wanted to charge us close to $1,900 for the water pump/belt and labor. I asked the dispatcher for a list of itemized receipts for the repairs; she wasn't happy about that, and told me she would charge us more for keeping her on the phone, and not letting her get to her next call. We will not be calling them again.

This is the driver for Replenish Logistics llc. Friendly and great customer service, was able to get my semi truck fixed and had me on my way to get my load. This is the place to come if you want quality work.

Worst company ever. So ill prepared to fix a flat. 40' Beaver motor home. Gave them the description of what was needed, tire size etc. Showed up with a faulty compressor, no pads to work on so my right rim got all kinds of scratched up. Made numerous trips for items they needed. On the side of the road at an on ramp on the 75 West. We were there from 11 until dark. The guys were decent but the strings were being pulled from the office. After 3k they still wanted more. I had the closeout open and my hand on the door with my little friend close by. We drove off while closing the door. They should be investigated and shut down for shady and illegal business practices.Did not leave a good taste in our mouth for Texas.

Never use this repair shop Their office have no idea what's going on. I missed 2 weeks of work for a 3 hour repair job. Took one week to get my rate quote. Then added money to bill after work was finally finished. Alot of back and forth to get fair pricing.

We had an emergency repair on our tractor 0-dark-30 on a Friday. The only shop that would even talk to us was Southern Diesel. While they could not work on the tractor over the weekend, they arranged for a tow to their shop with a reliable company and guaranteed it would be diagnosed on Monday AM. The individual I spoke with said they should know by 10AM Monday, but if I don't hear from them to call at 11AM. I did so and was told the diagnosis was underway and that by 4PM they should know the full extent of the problem and estimated cost. They fulfilled their word. I authorized the work and was told the truck would be ready sometime Tuesday. At 11:15AM they called that my truck was ready and all the parts thought necessary from the diagnosis turned out not to be needed. The cost was nearly $1000 less than estimated. Not only was customer service and mechanical service superb, the integrity demonstrated by the shop by making sure all the parts were actually needed is highly commendable. They are a credit to their business. I am a first-time customer of Southern Diesel and I will definitely be using them in the future.

My truck took fives days to say that it was the fuel pump that was gone out. I got an estimate of $5000. They was charging me $2500 for the price of the fuel pump. So I went and bought my own fuel pump from freightliner myself and paid $1400. So their rate went from $100 hour to $145 hour because I bought my own parts. They primed fuel system to move the truck up to shop door. I was told that it lost prime and didn't need the pump. They said they changed the fuel filter which was a lie but they charged me for new filters. They charged my $1050 just to prime my fuel system up. I went to another shop just to check fuel pressure and everything was fine. They seem to gotten mad when I went and got my own parts. They seem to be a bunch of meth and weed heads that work there because I smell weed when the wrecker driver picked me up. So Kenan told me that they was refunding some of money back because I was over charged and every time I call to get Money they leave me on hold for long times. The owners never get on the phone. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

THIS COMPANY STOLR MY FATHERS CAR AND WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! THE TOWMAN STOLE HIS CAR, HAS BEEN DRIVING AROUND AND GETTING TICKETS, WHILE WE ARE ASKING WHERE OUR VEHICLE IS.I requested a tow through Allstates website. The towman shows up and knocks on my door. Asks me what the address is for dropoff and asks for $23 cash. I get a weird feeling, but since this company is contracted with Allstate, why should I question my insurance? Towman says he dropped it off at the location but he never did. He took pictures of my dads car in a back alley, claiming it was my mechanics alley. We saw the pictures and looked nothing like our mechanics shop. Allstate did not want to help and the tow companys words were we dropped it off and thats all we can do for you . IS THERE SOMETHING I M MISSING??? What kind of service is this!!! We have already started the process of a lawsuit.I BEG YALL DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

On 04/23/2020 I called Southern Diesel Repair and spoke to Mark Greenlee about having a diesel mechanic come and take a look at my Ford truck. Mark informed me that the service call fee is $85. I agreed to have the mechanic come out and check my truck and figure out what was wrong with it.The mechanic was late which caused me to miss my meeting. When the mechanic arrived, he spent 30 minutes looking at the truck. He gave me the diagnosis of what he thought was wrong with the engine and that they will have to work on the engine at their shop. The mechanic did not do any work on the truck. The mechanic called their office and spoke to Mark Greenlee about what was wrong with the truck and what needed to be done. Mark then emailed me an invoice of $570.65. The service call fee is $85 and the diagnosis fee is $99 per hour, the mechanic spent half an hour doing the diagnosis. So, I don t know why Mark billed me for $570.65.I called Mark and told him I was willing to pay for what I owed and not the amount on the invoice. He threatened me that if I did not make the payment, he was going to take my truck. The next day the morning of 4/24/2020 I found out that my truck was gone. I called Southern Diesel Repair and spoke to Mark who confirmed that they had towed my truck to their location until I paid the $570.65.Southern Diesel Repair and Mark Greenlee and criminals who are ripping people off. Please do not do business with them otherwise you will regret it. They are a dishonest company

DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE!!!!!!!!! I REPEAT. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE!!!I have a 2013 Ford F750 that had a Def issue. Two months and thousands of dollars later. I had to have my truck towed to a real repair facility. Thanks Rush Trucks in Dallas. This is a mom and pop facility that lacks professionalism. No updates were given on my vehicle the whole duration that it was there!!There is no sense of urgency in the whole building!!! Laughable. Considering this is the Transportation industry. The lure is 24 hr access. It is not!!! Mechanics arrive at 8 am just like everywhere else.SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY. HAVE YOUR TRUCK TOWED SOMEWHERE ELSE AND WAIT TILL 8AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Run away! I got a oil leak and a antifreeze leak fixed here, when they were done my engine had a knock it never had before. I made it 30 miles before it broke down, they told me they had to pull apart there work to make sure it wasn't there fault. I thought this was cool since they seemed to be doing their do diligence, after they pulled it apart they informed me it was not their fault and wanted to charge me to put it all back together. Now at different shop and found out I was over charged to begin with and that it was something they did. Save yourself alot of time and frustration go somewhere else.

Do not do business with this company. We are one of their vendors, they are more than 6 months past due, won't pay invoices & no one is ever available to clear it up. We have had MULTIPLE attempts to reconcile, been promised by the owner they would pay, been told to come get payment and then stood up. They have used our product to do repairs and made money off of those products yet cannot pay for them?! I have been in this business since 1997 and have NEVER done business with a more DISHONEST company. Do yourself a favor do business with someone else or maybe just get your repair done and leave them holding the bill maybe they will know what it is like!

Sent my driver over there at 11:30 am. Had a pump problem. Mark told me to come on over and they would look at him right away. At 2:15 pm, I called the place and asked the "lady" that answered the phone if they had looked at my driver's truck yet. She put me on hold, then came back a couple of minutes later and said that they were looking at him right now; give them about an hour and they would call me back with a diagnosis. I told her that he had been there for 2 and a half hours, but it was going to take another hour to diagnose him. She replied that she was just the lady there and she didn't know what was going on out back. I called my driver back and asked if anyone was looking at his pump. He said no. I told him to get out of his truck and go ask them why not. A few minutes later, my driver called me back and said that he had spoke with the same lady that I spoke with over the phone. Turns out, she is the owner of the place. A tech finally went out and looked at the pump on my driver's truck. He only "looked" at it, but didn't lay a finger on it, and immediately said that there was nothing that he could do with that kind of pump. At least 3 hours absolutely wasted. Southern Diesel Repair will NEVER get another call from me ! ! !

Can't believe places & people like this actually exist. Parts are outsourced & they WILL NOT honor any warranty no matter the amount of money you spend. 8K dollars after Southern Diesel Repair, truck still needs the exact same part.... Please heed the aforementioned warnings & make an educated decision.

As I can see it s no point in say it s a horrible place. But I would like to say it SAD that they would take advantage of people in bad situations and over charge them. They can t get ahead or pay their invoices because God don t like ugly . They act like they are nice but they are really little greedy people and have a greed for money . Read reviews it would save a lot of money . Don t do business with them , please.

This place will rip you off stay away..I had to give one star to write this but they don't even deserve that. They don't know what they are doing they will tell you a lot of BS and take your money for doing nothing.Had them move my pickup to Ford glad I did because they diagnosed it wrong Ford said if they would have put the parts in it wouldn't have fix the problem and they were going to charge over 5600.00 . They end up charging me over 1000.00 for a road service call and two tows . Called them they just tell we have to talk to owner but they don't .They will never call backSo don't use this placeThe owner respond but lied southern Diesel was going to fix the high pressure pump and replaced injectors and they said the turbo needed changed. NOT TRUEAfter taking it to FORD it was not the high pressure pump or injectors and the turbo didn't need changed.Ford also said the high pressure pump has nothing to do with the fuel in the 2006 . So all southern Diesel wants to is rip you off they never even evaluated it in their shop just took the mechanics word for it the night before. The owner said they didn't have a tool to plug in to it no true the mechanic that came out did have the tool just diagnosed it wrong southern Diesel won't admit that. So never never use them will rip you off.

Charge artists. Came to change the power steering hose. Easiest task you could imagine. Was charged over 400$ of which 95$ inspection (really?, everything was obvious, I've shown the problem myself), 30$ for using credit card, 85$ part run, although I was told that they most likely have it in stock. Will never come here again!

Called their road service when our truck broke down. They were very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Fortunately, they also have a tow service (exceptional). The semi (peterbilt) was having major issues and we were planning on a very extensive bill and wait time. Was shocked to have the truck back, up and running, in just a few days and the total cost was a far below what we thought it would be. I highly recommend Southern Diesel for breakdowns, towing, and preventive services. I know I will use them when deep in the heart of Texas.

Our bus turned rv broke down in Dallas this past weekend, and southern diesel was amazing. We have 7 kids and being out in the hot sun stranded was such a hardship. They came out to us quickly and were extremely knowledgeable to fix the issue properly. They were a God send, I m sure of it. While fixing our fuel injector, they found an even greater, more dangerous and pressing issue. Our drive shaft was on the verge of falling out and they fixed it quickly and gave us a more than fair price on all the work that was done, and parts ordered. So thankful!!! -The lawson family.

Bad place to go to. i know maxforce engine is not that good but when they say they can help? nah it gets worst... 5k work oil and fuel start leaking after two weeks of driving local jobs. came back they said they will try to fix it and charge me for something half an inch close to what they fixed cause its started leaking oil. now my coolant system is contaminated with oil. wish you luck when you take truck in this place.
