Robert is the most reliable and honest mechanic. We have used him many times and referred my young daughter and friend to also use him. Robert did a wonderful job fixing the problems with my car, at a fair price . Now it drives like it's new. Kept me posted about the progress. If you want an honest business with fair prices. I highly recommend them.

They over charged me for prices, switched prices, and lied about what was wrong with vehicle. I payed 2k for a steering column (it s still the same old one and they broke the dashboard in the process) a brake caliper and a brake line. Parts came up to 750 so they charged me 1200 plus in labor for 2 or 3hrs of work. They literally charged me 600 for a new column to replace it (still the same one) and then they charged me 600 for labor when they originally charged me 250 in labor. They wouldn t work on the vehicle until they scammed me out of more money. They seem nice but they re just scammers. I would go to another shop.

Repaired my truck for over 10 yrs. We thought the motor went out based on what Christian Brothers Automotive said. $7-9,000 to fix. Robert always wanted to buy my truck. He did. For $800. 1/13/23. On 6/12/23, Robert said he put a couple hundred in it, seems ok and he said he drove it to CHURCH. I'm an old woman without a vehicle. I feel betrayed. I have referred so much business to him. Brought him goodies and many times tipped him. I want to pay for the repairs done to my truck and I want it back. I'm suffering and dying. Do the right thing Robert.

I was referred to Robert by an individual named Alejandro Vachier aka Alex. Alex lives in Gala apts on pipeline in an over 60 retirement community who are on fixed incomes. Alex refers his neighbors to RC Auto and Alex and Robert (owner/mechanic) tack ona finders fee or commission into the quoted price without letting their unsuspecting customers know. So, in actuality, you are paying more than necessary. I know of 6 they have ripped off. These are all people over 60 and women and on very fixed incomes.Be warned!!!In John 10:10, Jesus says, The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.Service: Air conditioning

This is where we took all of our cars to be fixed.The last time so went there Robert was different. Plus charged me so much for a tune up that everyone I show the receipt to laughs out loud. Not so funny to be charged over 700.00 for a tune up and another simple fix. Handed me my keys and said I need a new motor. Why would you tune up a motor if it's bad? He did scan and still that didn't keep him from charging me an ungodly amount for what ?Btw the cylinder he said was bad ISN'T bad at all. Not even sure he changed spark plugs.Once he was an honest, fair mechanic but now Pfft. Never again.

Dropped the vehicle off with Robert in the morning to fix a rear axle seal. After four quotes, He had the best! Also, I just had a good feeling after talking with him over the phone and after I took it in for him to look at it. He was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Better yet, my vehicle was done by mid afternoon. I hope that I don't need auto repair anytime soon but if I do, I will go here!6/9/2020 - Reasonable rate, quality and honest work. Robert installed a trailer hitch on my truck. He some how made this trailer hitch ( that was not perfectly lining up ) fit and bolted in. Magic Mechanic. V

My family has been using Robert at RC Automotive since before I was born and now that I'm an adult with a vehicle myself Robert is the only mechanic I trust to take care of and fix my vehicles. He's super down to earth and old school and he's not going to wring you out to dry on pricing. Highly recommend him

I drove my 193,000 Mile Toyota 4Runner to RC after visiting with them on the phone. I decided, after visiting Brand X that it might be worth the trip to meet RC and get a "look-see" estimate. Well, after the estimate, I decided that RC would be the ones to change out the rotors. Robert (owner) gave me three options, but told me replacement of the rotors would be all it took. He made a couple of phone calls....I decided for them to do the work. Less than ten minutes, his courier dropped off two new rotors, so the work began. His estimate was higher than the actual charges.... They happened to be slow right then, the courier said things were slow, but business was about to get fast and furious. Steve and Robert got right on the repairs, and less than an hour later, the Toy was ready. So, I owe them a nice tip for being there at the right time and the right place. God Is Big Enough! The truck brakes are working great now.

My family has used Robert for all of our vehicles since I was a child. Now as an adult myself, I still do t trust anyone but him. From simple oil changes, to major repair, no one touches my car but Robert. Quality work, with reasonable, honest pricing. Highly-rated and recommend.

I don't care where in the DFW are I live, this is my go to mechanic. Rob skimps on nothing and goes out of his way to prevent future problems with your car. I've never had a mechanic communicate as well as he does nor work with me as much as he has. His work is of a great quality. His customer service is excellent. And, he'll let you know exactly what is going on with your car even if the news is bad. In short, he meets and exceeds all expectations you'd have of a good mechanic! We need more Roberts out there!

I took my Truck in for a tuneup and to get some things checked out. Robert was extremely nice and helpful. He called around and found me the best price on an expensive fuel pump replacement. I have been driving the truck for a couple of weeks since the repairs and it drives like new. I was very wary of finding a random new mechanic and getting the usual inflated bill. Robert was honest and told me just what I needed and what could wait. If you need a mechanic in the HEB area give them a call.

This is the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic! I knew I could fully trust the fellows at R C as soon as I walked in the door, and wasn't disappointed. My work was done in a very timely and cost efficient manner (I had an expensive repair, but they went out their ways to make sure I got the most I could for my money). Everything is running fantastic now. I will return here for all repairs in the future, and would recommend anyone looking for honest workers!

I've been a customer of Robert for nearly a decade and my family has been even longer. He's down to earth and is as honest a person you'll ever meet. More than a few times, he's held back on requested work when unnecessary. He wants you to save your money

It's very hard in these times to find an honest mechanic, Robert had a lot of experience and he stand behind of the high-quality jobs at his shop, of course sometimes a small thing happens but he takes care of the situation immediately, his prices labor are very cheap vs other shops and or dealerships, I will recommend Robert 100%!!Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Auto engine tuning, Transmission replacementServices: Transmission, Exhaust, Auto engine tuning, Transmission replacement

We used RC Auto this past week, they did a wonderful job. My brother's truck had a u joint problem, we had called around and gotten quotes, and at the last minute I called RC Auto, They quoted a good price. Whern we went to pick up the truck the quote was accurate and the work was compleated the same day!!! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! A+++++++
