I really like going to this Meineke. This past weekend I needed to get an oil change but hadn t had a chance to setup an appointment and they were able to get me in. The gal at the front desk is always very welcoming. It doesn t take long at all and it s always clean. There are locations closer to where I live but this is my spot!

Response to owner: First of all that car was not worked on until I got sick of waiting on you (work started a month after it broke down). When I contacted your store all that had been done was look under the car and it was obvious the axle was the issue (nothing else was done, I'm sure looking at the axle doesn't void the warranty). All you have are documents stating what part# is needed and how to (maybe) install properly, and again, that does not mean your technician did it right!!!Brought my car to Meineke Hurst back in April to get the brakes checked. Upon their inspection, they stated I would be needing new front wheel axles along with the brake replacement. All good so far. Fast forward to early July, my transmission breaks down. Upon inspection by my warranty's technician and the shop handling the transmission repair, both confirmed that the driver's side axle had been improperly installed and appeared to be too short. This issue was causing fluid to leak and eventually led to the transmission breakdown.I was provided with reports from both the warranty and the shop, along with pictures. I also have the axle in the back seat of my car. All of this evidence points to the shop technicians' negligence. However, all the shop manager and the owner of this location had to say was that they ordered the correct part (which doesn't guarantee that the correct part was delivered or that the technician did the job properly). They also claimed that no one had the right to say they were liable for what happened.We attempted to contact the owner directly, but he did not take any of our calls. We then contacted Meineke corporate, and they reached out to him. He stated that he would not be contacting us. Subsequently, we brought this issue to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and they contacted the owner as well. Finally, we received a response, but it was the same evasive stance. It seems that the only way to hold them accountable for their wrongdoing is to sue them.So, to save yourself the trouble, I recommend going somewhere else. I will never recommend Meineke to anyone again.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Entirely unhelpful. Went to get car inspected, was told they couldn't inspect because the tint was too dark and the tag light was out. Have had the car inspected with the exact same tint for the past 4 years, never had anyone tell me it was a problem before. Checked the tag light when I got home; it is working just fine. Seems like the people here just don't want to do work.

Had a pop up check engine just I was getting my inspection for my yearly registration sticker renewal. Not great timing, to say the least. Drove it right over to Meineke, & they gave me quote & scheduled it for the next day. Done in just a few hours & I was ready to get all approved for my sticker.Their front desk gal was so very helpful! Even dropped me off at home & came back to pick me up when my car was ready! Man i will bring all my vehicles here for service from now on. I will also recommend this shop to everyone i know. I don't just throw five star reviews around. You really have to earn them from me. These guys didn't talk to me like i was an ignorant vehicle owner. They all made me feel very welcome. The Tech that serviced my truck was James Baucorn. James treated me with respect and properly evaluated my decision to do my brakes. Which is exactly what is supposed to happen when a customer comes in thinking they know what they need. He then recommended other services based on our conversation, and never tried to sell me something i didn't need. He then put an estimate together in the blink of an eye, we agreed, and they had my truck fixed up in no time. Thanks guys for all your professionalism. This is something commonly missing from most automotive repair shops.

I came here this afternoon to drop my car for the wheel alignment. After 30 minutes, they called me and said my car is too old, the screws in my car are rusted, which means they can t do the wheel alignment. However, they asked me to pay $70 for just checking the alignment and did nothing on my car. I understand it took time and cost money for checking my car, but I don t understand why they charged me $70 for just checking the alignment and did nothing on my car. To be honest, if Google can let me give 0 star, I would definetely go for it! I don t want to be mean, but please improve your customer services.

This happened last year May ish 2023...I had a good experience at this location. I purchased a Van in Orlando Florida and was going to drive back to Albuquerque New Mexico area. The Van had issues which I thought were fixed by the Meineke in Melbourne Florida. In the Melbourne location they supposedly did a new transmission, ac service, axel and bearings, and brake job just to name a few. They had my Van for almost 3 weeks.When I received my Van, and started driving back home I broke down at the Texas/Louisiana state line. I got towed to the Hurst location. That way I could stay with my cousin while repairs were being done. Apparently my axel was coming off the front passenger wheel. Fortunately the AWD helped me "limp" to a gas station. The Hurst location informed me the brakes were NEVER done at the Melbourne location. This infuriated me. Hurst fixed everything correctly, and got me on my way within a week.I found the manager, and mechanics, very honest, helpful, and professional. I am grateful to them. They made so I could drive home safely. I Can't speak on anyone else, but this was my experience. P.S. stay away from the West Melbourne Florida location.

Went in for an inspection. They noticed a missing lug nut on the "brand new to me" vehicle and let me quickly get one from a nearby shop instead of just failing it on the spot. Inspection was done professionally and quickly. Good experience.

I have been in this shop twice now since I moved from California.With my personal car they really did a good job fixing a problem with two sensors that was caused by an independent shop that is right down the road from them.Jesse listened to my concerns and after a brief chat he said let me take a look and see what is going on .He promptly came back and explained to me what was going on.What really impressed me was that he was straight to the point and without trying to scam me for more money!!You don t see that now days!! , I authorized the repair and I was on my way in under an hour with my vehicle running like a charm!!This is my go to shop moving forward!!My wife s car is definitely coming here as well.Great shop!

Edit: On 6/12 I took my car that was functioning perfectly to Meineke Hurst to have a timing belt changed for preventative maintenance. When I received my car back, the check engine light was on. The employees of Meineke have not been able to fix the check engine light even after I returned several times to them. In the end they gave up and told me to go to a dealership mechanic. I am now having to pay more for the dealership mechanic to try and figure out what is wrong with my car that was working just fine with no check engine light until Meineke serviced my car. The check engine light is for the camshaft position sensor, which is part of the timing.After taking the car to the Huffines Chevrolet dealership service, they sent me photographic evidence that the timing belt was installed incorrectly. The timing was corrected by the dealership, and I haven t had any problems since.It hurts my heart to have to take my review from 5 to 1 star, as the workers at Meineke were very kind and polite. However, the root of the matter is that they caused a problem in my car that was not there before and could not fix it.

This place is great. C Clark did my state inspection. He treats his customers and his employees well. He gave helpful advice on what steps to take next for getting my registration sticker. I know you re not supposed to mention other places But I had gone to other shops that same day, and their inspectors weren t available at the time. This place has a convenient location, right next to the supermarket I use. No regrets.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Stopped in this morning to get my brakes bled. Guy at front looked out and sighed and explained that they dont like to do work on that type of vehicle there were no other cars in the bays and I was the only customer at the moment. When I asked what he meant by that type of vehicle? He stated something about it being lifted and bigger tires. Apparently a 1993 Toyota landcruiser with a small lift was far too complicated a project for them today. So I bid them farewell and drove a block up the street to the old speedees shop and they happily took it in without a word.

Dont go here unless you want to be ripped off.I'm a college student. I thought i had an alignment issue so i came in. Turns out, the rubber on one of my tires flew off and wrapped around the metal behind the wheel. Which made steering difficult too. I needed new tires. Cool. Well, this place ordered tires that were only around $112 each or so but they tried to charge me almost $900 - 1,000. Labor costs more than the tires? When i brought this up, they tried to decrease the price but it was still around $800. AND tried to give me an alignment i didn't need. Felt scammed so I left.Luckily, I went to discount tires and only paid for the $112 tires each and only $100 more for labor. Honest work and even removed the rubber for me for free. Car worked perfect after. Saved me a ton of cash I could spend on school instead.Don't come to meineke unless you want to be ripped off.

Very professional service, great communication to keep us up to date with our vehicle, when parts are expected to be at the shop and when all the repairs should be completed. We had our catalytic converter stolen and we had to go through our insurance to get repairs fixed. Meineke was very patient with us and the insurance. I really appreciate all that Meineke did for us with having to deal with our situation. We will definitely be going back. Carter and James did a great job They helped me with getting my car safe and back on the road! They were professional and honest about the issues found and the repairs needed. Started out as a simple enough job. Timing belt replacement, after they had completed the work and we were headed home and the check engine light came on.We immediately turned around and took it back. They assured they had done nothing wrong and a sensor needed to be replaced. After about the third sensor we got really suspicious... They continued assuring us it was nothing they did we took out car to the Chevy dealership where they told us that the timing belt was off and not quite installed correctly.Might be a good place to get an oil change or your brakes done but I guess I will never know because of the poor job followed by gaslighting.

Visited the Meineke Shop in Hurst, Tx. The acting mgr/technician James, explained what needed to be down to assess the trouble my daughter was having with her vehicle, followed through and completed the work within an acceptable time.Additionally he researched an AC issue, discovered the part was still under Meineke warranty and set an appointment for us to return the vehicle to have that repair completed. You rarely find honest trustworthy shops like this one. I'll take other vehicles there in the future.

Very friendly and honest people. They don't try to price gouge and sell extra stuff like most places do. When I went, there were only 2 technicians and they were doing an AWESOME job considering the stress of being short staffed. Highly recommended if you want a quality service

Ben, James and Carter completely rebuilt my Toyota Corolla. This was a very big job. They explained everything on the estimate print out sheet..There work ethic was absolutely incredible. Store front is extremely clean. They even showed me all the parts that were order for my car. Will definitely return for yearly maintenance. Thanks fellas and Merry ChristmasP.S. I cannot begin to describe the wonderful service we received. Our service tech James was great to work with from having the Jeep towed to completing the repairs. The vehicle was repaired on time and with a lower cost than first estimated.
