The store was about 40% empty. The cashier was asked how much for a stick battery and charger for Milwaukee and said what do you mean by how much. All of your batteries are behind closed doors that you can't see them. They are not clearly marked. I went in for a welding coat and a battery for Milwaukee. NothingAre you going out of business?Where is your stock?Do you have employees that understand English?

Hello, Humble! Here's my most recent experience with Northern Tool products. I'll set the scene. Early morning garage yoga session trying to get some much needed Zen in before the brutal Texas sun came up. If you know, you know. So there I was minding my own business, upside-down and breathing slowly when suddenly a loud pop and sizzle blew out my overhead lights scaring the ever living ohms right out of me! I fell down. Ouch. The light then proceeded to blink and flash similar to those of a 90s rave and had it been televised there definitely would have been a seizure warning to prevent anyone from being triggered. I turned it off, grabbed a stool and took it down to prevent a fire of course. It literally exploded. This light bulb/fixture is not even that old! Here are some photos detailing the damage this product from my local Northern Tool brought upon itself for no reason.

For those of you that have never been here and wonder what's it like. The best way to describe it. The layout reminds me of harbor freight tools. But with more items to sale and a bigger store on top of that. Discount in prices. Fair prices, but not completely cheap. You might want to wait when there having sales. One thing I find weird though, they have no entrance directly to the store. You either come the medical building way or rooms to go way, but no direct entrance.

The experience was really good. I really like Northern Tool for shopping great products. You can never go wrong with an item sold by Northern Tools. They backup their products, you can always return or exchange with them.

Wow! Very impressed. The guys here were knowledgeable on the tools and equipment and nice. Great deals on tools and supplies. Picked me up some Milwaukee gear for an outstanding price! I got $100 off of a Milwaukee M18 Fuel combo set with drill and impact driver- with 2 batteries and charger! Plus picked up a backpack, tools, and a tape measure. Very pleased with this location and it's selection. Top notch staff! And they offer a military discount also. Highly recommend for construction, automotive, trucking, and home repair tools.

I was in town yesterday on vacation and stopped in to look around as we don't have these stores in Ohio. Was helped by Cae, and she showed me the Milwaukee cordless power tools and let me know that they have good sales on the different sets. There is one with the powerful 1400 lb impact wrench, two battery packs, a light, drive bits. I will definitely get one soon when they are on sale. I was told I can go online and have it shipped to me for free. I bought a couple of things there I was needing and hope they open one of these stores near us. Friendly staff and a nice clean store. Recommend if you are in need of any tools, trailers and work clothes.

Came in here an, walked around for a good 30 min. No help from no one. Had two employees look me straight in the an walked away. Was looking for 6 ton jack stands because they're in good price, but they are not what they say. They are 3 ton, an with both together make the 6. The actual 6 ton per stand are more expensive than other stores. An it wasn't until I got to the register that I was greeted. I'd be giving this place a one star if it wasn't for Jace from the register that was courteous.

I went to look around for the grand opening. Nothing I really needed right now. Ended up picking up two batteries. One for my four wheeler and one for my lawn mower. Both had tags for $64.xx Went to the register and one rang up $109.xx I explained what the shelf said and one of the employees came with me and I showed him. He called the manager. Manager says the interstate guy put all the batteries in the wrong place. Says sorry. And walks away. I have been looking forward to this store opening up for a while so I could get better quality products. But the customer service is just poor. On grand opening day at that. And they were not even busy.

Awesome store! They have so much to offer and really helpful employees. They even price matched an item for us, saved $50. I was in awe of the pressure washing equipment and accessories.

I took my pressure washer to get it serviced here since the carburetor from the pressure washer was damaged after storing for Winter. I didn't have the tools and accessories, so I took my pressure washer at this Northern Tools location and the mechanic fixed the carburetor immediately. He showed me the damaged carburetor. After installing a new carburetor, he tested it to make sure it worked properly. Man, I really forgot the mechanic's name, but he was knowledgeable and informed me how to properly store it for the winter. He was such a nice employee!

I went to the Humble location today to buy some supplies for my business. I was promptly assisted by Mike. Mike went out of his way to find me the right products at the best possible price. Before long several employees were there to help me gather what I needed. I was impressed to actually go into a box box and find dedicated and most of all educated employees. Amazing experience.

Very nice store, but...I stood in line for quite a while. People in front of me and behind me in line started leaving the store due to the very long wait. I finally left as well and the person at the register was the same person who was there when I entered the store. There was only one cashier working. Hopefully things will get better once they've been open for a while. But for now, can't recommend the Humble location AT ALL.

Ordered shelving online and drove to Humble to pick up. Decided to go in and look around. Immediately greeted by a super nice gentleman named Eli. Purchased several items and checked out with same gentleman. Went to warehouse pickup in back and the guy in back was just as nice!! We will definetly be back as our experience was excellent!!

Went in to return/exchange a tool I bought and had some issues communicating without most of the staff. However, Estela was very professional throughout the entire ordeal - which was straightened eventually. Even when her coworkers began to get a little worked up and kind of rude Estela remained calm, professional, and helpful.

Oscar was great he went above and beyond to help us find what we needed . And not only that he went above and beyond helping us with a credit application . Very hard these days to find good employees like Mr. Oscar he was very kind and patient ! Cashier was great as well!

Went to the store today and was helped by an individual named Ethan. This young man took the time to show me the different option of Stihl I was buying. He took my information as well as told me that I could add extra protection to my unit. As I walked away to buy more products he took my unit to the front. When I got to the front the young man was ringing people up!!! Talk about multi tasking and the ultimate employee. When I asked him if he was a cashier or a salesman, he tells me he is a stocker!!!! I'm just amazed that someone is willing to go the extra mile just to help customers and not have any problem doing other task. You have a great individual here and I highly recommend that you hire more people like him. Thanks Ethan for really showing me what customer service is all about!!!!

Oscar M. is very helpful, courteous, cares about the customer s time and budget. He helped me to quickly load my purchase. Additionally, he went above and beyond to help me save money by suggesting a Nothern tool credit card. He helped with the application too and speaks perfect Spanish!

I ordered online and when we got there the order was ready as expected. The folks working there set up my agricultural exemption very quickly and then applied it even though I had already paid. It was very impressive service! I highly recommend shopping at the Humble Northern Tool store.

I went to this store in humble to fix my Honda self propel lawn mower. Joseph at service dept was very helpful and friendly. He even resolve my issue right on the spot. I would recommend this store if you need to fix your lawn mower.

I visit this location just to look. But I was assist by Jose, he was more than amazing he knew were everything was, how much everything was and he give me a explanation of every equipment! His customer services is impeccable! He is bilingual if you need assistance in Spanish or English he s the one you need to look for! I 100% recommended this location. Also prepare your pockets because he will make you think you need everything.

They have a lot of tools and things if that is your thing.It's a very interesting place to goMy husband can go in there and stay for hours.Maybe not so much for me though.We were spending time together and he asked if I wanted to go with him.I did.As a married couple sometime we do things to support and please the other that may not always interest us.I had fun with him.

Oscar was great he helped us out alot from our phone call to in person in the store he was able to help me with everything I needed and went above and beyond! Even when I couldn't quite translate what I needed he was patient and helped me find what I needed! This place has an amazing selection of tools and parts!

I shop with Northern Tool often. I like the brands that Northern Tool carries. I purchased a Chapin 12V backpack sprayer a month ago. I did purchase the warranty as well. After 1 use the motor will not function. So I called customer service. The customer service person told me that since it was less than 45 days since I made the purchase, I should return the item to the store and they would swap it for a new one. Upon arrival at the store (Humble, Tx), I was at the register speaking with Eli. Eli was very helpful, and moving along as I expected. Eli said that he needed to get a manager to enter a code into the register because the item cost over $100. After, a wait and multiple requests by Eli for the manager, Allan (The Manager) finally showed up. He immediately had an attitude, like he was put out for having to actually do his job. 1st thing he said was, that I would have to buy a second warranty for the new sprayer. That did not make since to me at all, so I told him that if that was the case they should just refund me for the entire original purchase including the warranty. He then got more attitude and told me that I was supposed to go through the warranty company and not the store. I tried to explain to him that I was doing what the customer service person @ Northern Tool instructed me to do. He got defensive and said "Well I will do it this time". I had planned on buying a few more tools while in the store, but I told Allan that I would just take my business elsewhere. He mouthed off "I don't know why you have an attitude" and stormed off.

SMALL ENGINE REPAIR- I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Norther Tool( Humble 59)for your small engine repair! Pete is an absolute beast fixing all small engines!! He did a wonderful job on my power washer just so happened they had they parts in-store and had it back to me same day!! In fact within 2hrs I was back at home power washing my house. Thank you Pete for you outstanding work!!! Come see Pete at Northern Tool(Humble) DO NOT GO TO AJs!!!!

The store was very clean. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional. They helped me look for the item I couldn't find and found the only one they had in the back and brought it up to me. Esteban was very friendly and helpful while checking us out. Keep up the good work!

When the manager tells you there are other people that work there when asked for help, there is a problem. When their compressor expert can't tell you the difference between a V, A and M style are hose connector, there is a problem.No I won't be back. Better knowledge at harbor freight and lowes.

Brand new store, instock with everything. Helpful people everywhere I turned! This is where I go to get those unique, one of a kind tools. They also sell industrial grade tools and supplies, work clothes, etc. Definitely better quality stuff.
