Took out Jetta diesel here after another local shop quoted an absurd amount for a repair half the value of car. Clifford s was able to do the same repair for about 1/3 the cost and had it ready much quicker than I expected. Also felt more confident with them working on euro cars based on the conversations we had. Will be back if needed.

They are so helpful and have fair pricing. The mechanics are knowledgeable and when possible, they look for ways to solve problems that make it more affordable. We will keep going back.

Anthony and Mark did an amazing job explaining the issues with my daughter s car. After six visits to two separate dealerships over a three year span, Clifford s was actually able to recognize the issue was gunked up valves. We have had zero issues with her vehicle since the repair.

Walked away feeling like I have been scammed.I needed a $55 part installed to get my truck going and these guys did the most insane amount of extra work and ran the bill up to $900. All they needed to do was run the truck and check the hose to see if it the coolant was going through. Simple, and would have been a cheap fix.New hoses weren t needed,New coolant reservoir wasn t needed A plastic container that holds coolant cost me $270 at this place. My resovoir was perfectly fine. The part is $30 at autozone.All of this could have been avoided if I d had simply replaced my $50 thermostat. Hind sight is 20/20 ..Do not go here.

Just got my Excursion back from a new engine install with althe standard 100,000 mile/3 year warranty. Everything sounds and runs great. Will give another update after I put more miles on this remanufactured engine. Thank you!

Had front & back brake work completed @ $1300You can eat off. Off my garage floor.There is a waterproof membrane. Under the truck, to watch for any leaksThat evening. As I always do - I. Use a flashlight. &. Inspect under the truckThere is a. LEAK. On the passenger side bk brake NO. I DID. ( NOT ) HAVE A LEAK. BEFORE.WE WHERE N O T ADDING BRAKE FLUIDthese R CERTIFIED MECHANICS- there. Is. No excuse. For this. I Called to try to (MAKE AN APPOINTMENT)-m^*+ told me, there probably needs more parts ordered. that I d hav to drop it off. DRIVE BY THEIR SHOP AT NIGHT. There s. No security. For your vehicle - it s a. Plaza. Parking lot !!!!SADLY THE FRONT DESK PERSONAL. WANT A PAY CHECK TOO / NOT. JUST THE. HARD WORKING. CERTIFIED MECHANICS

The staff at Clifford's are amazing and they do great work. The parking lot is always tricky to navigate and the nearby Starbucks makes the area hazardous. The service at Clifford's is worth the effort.

Great repair shop! We are from Louisiana visiting TX do to family health emergency. So the trip was already tense and emotional but then our 2020 Yukon breaks down on the way to the hospital. Totally unexpected. I called Cliffords as it was nearest to us. I explained the situation and these guys could not have been better. They told me to bring it in and they'd get me back on the road. They were accommodating, honest and total professionals. They even saved me some money on a very expensive part that I needed. Absolutely world class! Edit 01/04/2024: I didn't catch the name of the gentleman I spoke with. However I hope that in the future, you don't interrupt people to say "I don't know where you're going with this." It isn't likely that everyone has the same mechanical expertise, and that's why they are calling in the first place. "Quick to listen...", "More bees with honey..."My Papa has been coming here for about 20 years- so that was good enough for me. And from my own experience, Anthony is honest, direct, and professional, and that's true for every person who has spoken with me who works here. Questions are answered professionally, no upselling, and honest feedback. I am given explanation to understand when I ask, never judged on what I'm unaware of, and am provided my receipt every time. Even after moving 5 hours away, I intend to bring my car back to Clifford's. The "Certified Car Care" is ACCURATE. Thanks yall!

Not much of reviewer but had to voice my experience. Saw the great reviews and fair pricing so gave them a shot. All I can say, the only thing they did right was respond quickly. Other than that a total rip off. I m assuming these reviews are from people in desperate need or people that can t do a simple search on their vehicle problem.Clifford gave me a quote like no other. They up sold a part nearly double and their estimated labor fee is most definitely dealership standards. Found it cheaper to drive to my storage in Corpus and bring my tools, purchase the part from auto zone w/ lifetime warranty and get my hands dirty for 30 minutes.Best of luck.

The team was great! The were able to diagnose my Mercedes when others wouldn t touch a foreign vehicle. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and the staff was very communicative. I appreciate the work they did for me!

Our child enabled the anti-theft immobilizer at Little Caesars down the road and we did not know why our car would not start.Roy met us there and tried to see if he could fix it and when he couldn't immediately took care of getting the car to the shop and resolving the issue.Exceptional service and wonderful people!

I had the engine heat shield on my car come loose and was dragging on the ground. Clifford s removed it for me without charge. Great people. Friendly. Fantastic customer service. Would not hesitate to send business their way.

Took my 2020 Siena for a 60k-mile tune up, wheel rotation and oil change. Roy and his team were not only on time and at a reasonable price (they will beat Christian Brothers and the dealerships), this was the first time in my life where the manager took me back to show me first hand why the labor is what it is. Outstanding transparency! This is a very ethical team that strives for complete customer satisfaction. AAA recommended Cliffords when we broke down way up in Ennis Texas and needed a tow back to Humble. We dropped off our vehile at 4 in the morning and called to let them know it was there and where the key was located.Communication was terrible and we were never told about a diagnostic charge, just told that our bill would be 10k if we approved the repairs. Simply couldn't afford to get it repaired, so we went to pick it up and have it towed home. They demanded an over $150 diagnostic charge and threatened to call the police if we tried to leave with our car.We were never told about the charge. They pointed to a sign on the inside of the building we had never been in stating the dx fee and said that was enough notice.I'll also be complaining to AAA.Another shop down the road quoted us $8500 for the same services. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford to put that much money into our 2012 Nissan Quest.This place is SPENDY and rude. I have no idea about the quality of their work, but I suspect our diagnostic was simply reading the computer codes being thrown and not an actual physical inspection since the only thing I was told on the phone was that the transmission and two catalytic convertors needed to be replaced because the codes said so.

I WANNA SHOUT OUT CLIFFORDS CERTIFIED CAR CARE FOR FIXING FOREIGN CARS, whoever attends you always has a positive work ethics , always breaking down step by step on what s wrong with the vehicle, always providing receipts on every penny you spend. I am very pleased with my car feels and drives excellent. Will be bringing my vehicle back when it s time , thanks Clifford certified car care.

Very impressed with the quality operation being run at this near by locally owned car repair shop.My dealership quoted me some pretty astronomical repair costs (part/labor) during my oil change, mostly all just preventive maintenance type things.I took in the dealer service quotes to Cliffords and they priced everything out for me, saved well over $1000.Very busy shop but it never felt crowded or had any wait to speak with someone.Complementary Lift service from the shop back home and from home back to the shop to pick my car up, very appreciated.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Been taking my cars to Clifford's for around fifteen years. They're honest, their rates are reasonable and they get their work done in a timely fashion. This is as trustworthy a shop as you'll find anywhere in town.

My Audi had problems with the water pump after the freeze. I received a few outrageous quotes. Clifford's gave me a very reasonable quote and did an exceptional job! Due to their excellent work and great employees, I have now made this my new spot for oil changes and any future work. Anthony is so kind and knowledgeable, as is Roy. They are very communicative and efficient, I will definitely continue to bring them my service and recommend them to anyone!Services: Engine repair, Oil change
