Perhaps other customers have been given more friendly, enthusiastic service. Compared to many other mechanics I've worked with in the Houston area, Beckwith's Car Care was more insensitive, and gave the vibe that I was not a preferred customer. As a Speech Communication Instructor, I am familiar with a welcoming, interpersonal atmosphere vs. one that is stiff, impersonal and seemingly insensitive. Overall, I don't feel comfortable with bringing any of my vehicles back to Beckwith's Car Care. Not to mention, that when I returned to the shop to pick up my car after hours, at night might I add...the doors were unlocked!!!!! In all of my 30+ years of having cars serviced, I have NEVER picked up a vehicle from a mechanic after hours and the doors were unlocked!!!!! This, to me sends a message of being thoughtless and careless.

Service was great. Pick up and drop off from the shop. The service was timely. My car was finished before the estimated time, and for less than the estimate. I will definitely return.

This is an excellent place to service your car. I usually had to take my car to das euros in spring cause they were the only reliable mechanic shop that worked on cars from Europe that I knew. Beckwith s assured me they can do the same, serviced my car for a leaking fuel pump and the problem no longer exist. I no longer have to drive to another city that s out of my way.

I love Beckwith s Car Care! They are so friendly and trustworthy, and they do really good work. My dad is a retired mechanic who now delivers parts for a local parts store, so i usually ask him to stop by and talk to the shop guys anywhere that I consider having my car serviced. He has come by here a few times and chatted with the shop foreman several times on the phone, and he agrees that these guys are a solid company. They also have a cute little waiting room with complimentary coffee and cookies while you wait. I honestly can t recommend them though.

They were so kind, helped me change my flat to a spare tire, so I could make it to my destination safe. They did it free of charge and even gave me some yummy fresh baked cookies.

I made a convenient appointment time that worked into my schedule. Received prompt service with minimal wait time. I was extremely impressed and pleased with the friendly, courteous and clean staff. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The overall upkeep and shop site was clean and professionally maintained. The prices for services rendered are honest and fair. Beckwith's does not honor thier warranties. They say they have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on alignment. But if the alignment goes out for any reason other than the bolts falling out as you drive away they will not cover it. They told me verbally it would have to go out of alignment within a few weeks for it to be thier responsibility, but I brought mine in "almost 12 months later." If that's the case why claim a 12 month warranty.In a parking lot I bumped into a curb while pulling into a spot at about 3-5 miles per hour. I let them know this and said I think that's when it started pulling to one side. All 4 wheels where out of alignment. I assumed this would be under warranty as has been the case for every alignment I've ever had from every other company in my decades of car ownership.In reality the warranty on alignment is no warranty at all. I can only assume the rest of thier warranties are no better.I will not be returning.

This is by far the best automotive care in Houston. Great customer services, fast accurate diagnosis, very reasonable pricing, and great work. These guys truly care about their customers and it really shows. I've had multiple vehicles in for several things and regardless if it was my bumper I needed fixed, my windshield I needed replaced, my transmission flushed, my fuel pump changed, or even that clicking noise I kept hearing that no other mechanic could diagnose, these guys stepped up and got it done quick and didn't charge me even close to what I had expected. If you or someone you care about needs work done on your vehicle there is NO better place to go than Beckwith's.

I m new to Texas so I m not familiar with many businesses. I had to get a new tire at Discount Tire and they suggested Beckwith s for an alignment . The service was prompt and everyone I encountered was very pleasant. I will definitely be returning for all vehicle needs!Service: TiresService: Tires

I found Beckwith's Car Care upon my research of local mechanics in Humble with experience and good reviews online. I had to have the engine in my Vehicle replaced, and upon all the possible options, I opted to keep the it and go ahead and replace the engine. I contacted the shop, spoke with a reasonable and experienced service advisor and took my vehicle to the shop. The vehicle was ready at the estimated time as the shop stated and I have to say, it rides , so much better, thank you. I am looking forward to many more thousands of miles with the maintenance done at Beckwith's.Service: Engine repair

I discovered Beckwith s Car Care listening to the Auto Pros Radio Show on 700AM KSEV in Houston, TX. which Lynn Beckwith in one of the host. My organization was donated a 2005 32 Passenger Bus built on a GMC 5500 Chassis with Duramax Diesel engine. I wanted to base line the maintenance on the vehicle using BG Products, plus make ready for a 3500 mile trip. I called & Lynn answered the phone. I told her what I wanted done on the bus, & I was concerned that the physical size of the bus might not fit in their bay. Lynn said go ahead & bring it over! Lynn, & her staff performed a complete multipoint Inspection & all the services I wanted. Plus the technician discovered the water pump was leaking. I was provided a quote for the repair & approved it. Beckwith s provides Excellent service, Honest, Fair Price, & Delivered on Promised Completion Date. Beckwith s gives all around Excellent Customer Service! I highly recommend them for all your vehicle maintenance & repairs. My first impression was how nice and clean this place is, and then the professionalism of the service writer. The waiting area is very comfortable and neat. The management team has very deep experience as mechanics. I had my wheels aligned. My car was finished on time and the alignment works perfectly. They made no attempt to upsell me. I m here again today bringing my other car to get aligned because they did such a good job!

Wow! I had the best experience at Beckwith's today! I walked in, without an appointment, and was greeted by a friendly staff, the owner, and Gus and Scampi. They took in my vehicle, went over the entire process with me, and gave me an estimate. They gave me a ride a home, and I received a full digital inspection report including comments and photos. There was great communication throughout regarding costs and prioritization/urgency of repairs. The prices were fair and consistent with their competitors. There were two offers on Yelp that I was able to utilize. I dropped off my vehicle and was able to pick it in the same day. Excellent customer service from start to finish. The owner, Lynn, is fabulous, and you can tell that the entire staff is one big happy family. For as long as I live in Houston, Beckwith's will be taking care of my vehicle.

I got an alignment done. It was very close to perfect the first time, but I m super picky. The steering wheel was a tiny bit of center so I decided to take it back. They got me in quick, and on the drive home, I confirmed they nailed it. Recommend.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I had a very surprise unexpected problem with my car while driving home. The amazing guys at Beckwiths took a look at my car almost immediately, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got me all fixed up and back on the road in no time. Always a great experience. Not once have they failed to take care of my needs, and have always been extremely fair. Super friendly, efficient and fast. Not sure on pricing because I ve never had this work done before but seemed very fair. Especially given the speed and reduce down time for my company. I took my truck to Ford quick lane and they said my truck needed a new rear main seal (it was leaking oil). I didn t seem to trust them, just because..... so I took my truck to Beckwiths because I knew they would do what is right from past good experiences. After dropping off my truck Billie called me after checking over and said it was actually my oil pan seal which equals half the price of what I could have paid. In conclusion, I love their honestly and consistency with always doing the right thing. There is a reason they have 5 stars, they do the right thing and customer is always taken care of. I went there because a friend recommended it so I had never been there before. I had to get my starter replaced, it was almost $700.00. Billie told me I would get a discount (10% was my understanding) if I was on their mailing list so I gave her my email and then she told me that it would only apply to future visits and not this visit. I felt that was misleading. Needless to say I was disappointed about that as I'm on a disability income. My car is working well now and for that I am grateful.

Honesty + Reasonable labor rate + Super fast service = my repeat business. My part had to be ordered and I was in and out within 24 hours. Very nice staff, great cookies in the waiting area, and they provide courtesy transportation home or to local rental car locations. I live on the west side of town and it is well worth the drive from the Memorial City area to Humble. If a 10 star rating was possible I would give it!

When I call for a price on fixings exterior door handle on my Chrysler 300, And when Lynn gave me the price I was very excited and the price was very reasonable. Yes I will be coming back for more service. I will recommend Beckwith's Car Care service. Very friendly and professional company. They offered me a ride home/to work while my car was being fixed. It did not take long for them to fix my car. I got my car back the same day, and the price I was quoted before they fixed my car was the same price when it was time to pay. And my car is running great. I would recommend Beckwith's Car Care to friends and family.

Truck died while driving so had it towed to another shop that couldn t keep the truck running. After 6 weeks between 2 other shops Beckwiths was able to troubleshoot and fix issue the transmission wiring touching the exhaust and blowing the ECM fuse.I would recommend this shop to anyone.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Air conditioning, Oil changeServices: Transmission, Electrical, Air conditioning, Oil change

Made appointment and they took us right on time. They take pictures of any possible issues and send them to your phone. They keep you posted as to the progress and of any issues that may come up. Save your money these people find a way to charge you even if the issue was not resolved. We took our Chevy to them because we trusted their "Chevy expert". They have a mechanic that "worked" with Chevy and calls him a "Senior Chevy mechanic" but he failed to properly diagnose the issue and instead found something to charge for. We dropped the car and 4 days after we agreed to repair based on the diagnosis. We paid over $400 for a throttle body cleaning which they only used a liquid worth $30 to any consumer when buying online or autozone instead of taking it off and wipe it clean. We called back the same day (Friday) they returned our car "fixed" and left a voice-mail letting them know it was not fixed.We called back Monday and agreed to take the car back to fix the issue. Several days after they told the car was driven but this time they were able to replicate the issue and now the "Senior Chevy mechanic" THINKS it's something else because the car gave a code. The new repair would be a little over $500 because their warranty covers "what was done to the car not what they think its the new but same problem". They could also not guarantee the fix. My car GPS tracker (which also provides car trouble codes) tells me they drove it for 9 minutes, 4 which the car was idle and no code was detected. We decided to pick up the car, disputed the first diagnostic charge of $99 but they said it wasn't a misdiagnosis because they know what the issue is but the tech believes, not certain what it is... since they were able to read the code I asked them to show me the code but they said it was cleared. If the code was cleared, and the issue was not fixed the code should come up again..... but they declined. The code also didn't show on my way home because there was no code. The code they said the car gave specifically state the car must have certain specific symptoms AND a check engine light but none of them were applicable since the car started normal, the didn't have issues accelerating, etc. I will be bringing this up to the BBB and the AG because I don't know how is it legal and ethical for a company to lie and charge for something they don't even know what it is.... This is an issue that not even Chevrolet knows how to fix but they magically pull up a code...

I took my Elantra over here for an oil change yesterday. I had a 6 PM appointment. The staff was very welcoming & friendly. The service was fast & completed in a timely manner. They offer complementary tire rotation with oil change, that was really impressive. This was my first time over there, even received a discount coupon for future service. I recommend this place for you auto maintenance service.
