YHS provides great customer service, detailed diagnostics , has a friendly team, and a clean office/lobby space. I felt well informed and in good care with the mechanic professionals Eric and Oliver. I am satisfied with the service I received on my Honda. The turnaround time was extremely reasonable and the work speaks for itself. My car is back on the road safely. I found my new car servicing home in Katy. Thank you YHS.

Quick, honest service from Oliver! My scheduled service showed I needed X, Y and Z but the serviceman told me that one of those items was still in good shape and there was no need to get it done at this visit. Really impressed with their honesty as this is not my area of expertise so it is great to know I am getting quality service! And we love the coupons that come in the mail!

I have been taking my vehicles to YHS since 2019 and I have always received great service and courteous treatment. In my last visit, Oliver was especially helpful explaining to me several issues with my vehicle and giving me great advice. Like all the staff that I have interacted with at YHS, he is very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I believe is a reflection of the work ethic aimed at providing honest, professional customer service that characterizes Paul in how he runs his shop.

I came here after being told by CB that I had no detectable brake fluid. I was there (CB) for an oil change. My brakes felt fine and my fluid brake light had not lit up my dashboard. After my oil change, I drove 2 miles to YHS where Mike and his team gave me a second opinion. They found plenty of brake fluid and reminded me they'd changed it out for me last fall. Honesty is their motto and I believe it!They have .y trust going forward. Thank you!

Mike up front and the crew in the back I've taken care of me and my car more than once. Pleased each time. It sucks to pay for maintenance these days, but their pricing is VERY fair compared to more mainstream shops. Genuinely thankful.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Excellent service, extremely honest and fair prices! The front staff personnel are very friendly and the guys who do the work are awesome! Cannot say enough about this place! Go check them out and see for yourself! You will not regret it!

This is a GREAT place to take your vehicle for repairs. Staff here is very knowledgeable and HONEST! My father and I both bring our vehicles here, and there is nowhere else in the area that I would go to. Communication from drop off to pick up is great, and they back their work up. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle in the west Houston area.

Needed to get a headlight bulb replaced for my BMW. Mike and his YHS Team took really good care of me. Transparent and honest car mechanic. I've been to many car mechanics in the past and these guys definitely live up to their good reviews. I would definitely recommend them for whatever needs you have.

I happened upon YHS when I had a coolant problem. These guys are great!Even with a last minute emergency repair they got the job done and got me on the road same day.Plenty of places to get your car repaired, get yours done here.

Was looking for a shop that specializes in Honda and Acuras. Like to use OEM parts where I can without having to pay dealer prices. Come to find out my vehicle has several leaks coming from the engine. One of which is the rear main seal, a 2k job alone on top of timing belt replacement and check engine lights, the reason why I brought the car to them in the first place. I wanted to keep the vehicle, so I was authorized to proceed with the full repair. Two days later, I got a call saying now that they have full access to the engine, the leak is actually coming from a different seal and the 2k real main seal replacement is not needed. **Understand I already said yes to the repair, and they practically gave me my money back saying no need**. This is my first time working with this shop with no prior experience or history with them, and they honestly avoided a job saving me a small fortune**. Integrity on top of quality work is not easily found today. I can not recommend this place enough, and they do work on all types of vehicles as well.

Paul and YHS were recommended to me by two different people and I can clearly see why. They fixed a major problem on my BMW that would have costs thousands if I went to the dealership. They were fast, through, and honest. I truly appreciate the help they gave me. Had me back up and running quickly! They also put on two new tires and did my state inspection that was a few months behind! I have used YHS Automotive for several years now for several vehicles and always receive the best of service. I've found their pricing to be very competitive and usually cheaper than Ford and Acura. I recently had my truck in for multiple repairs and improvements. Eric listened intently to all of my concerns and explained the repairs in great detail. Since they had the truck for several days, I received daily updates from Eric on the progress of the work and always knew what was happening. They spent extra time and research to get my alignment perfect so that my new set of tires will be sure to last. I couldn't be more pleased with my latest experience. Eric and all of the YHS staff are always very friendly, respectful and helpful. Paul, the owner, has always been very adamant about doing the job right and always has the customer's best interest in mind. I highly recommend YHS Automotive to anyone looking for exceptional car repair at a great value.

I've been going to YHS Automotive for years, not only when I lived there, but when I've come out to visit as well. I've always been amazed at the rare level of customer service; these guys are old school when it comes to taking care of their customers! I think most people would agree that customer service is all but extinct!Most recently, Yolanda and Eric were awesome. Yolanda really went out of her way to take of me, and Eric took the time to make sure I understood what my options were, and much more, I felt as if they really had my back and went out of their way to make sure I didn't have to spend a dime more than necessary!I would recommend YHS Automotive to anyone! I moved in the area recently and needed a car shop. I tried a few around the area and the first time I went to YHS I was blown away. I am Team YHS after one visit. From the front office to the owner, if you want authentic care with exceptional communication this is your place. Yolanda (front office) is bright, knowledgeable and lovely. I was kept up to date with my car status with text messages (love it). I was sent a link to examine what the techs found (love it). Since I was a new customer Yolanda called me to explain their process of sending a link to opt in or out of what the technician suggested for maintenance and repair (LOVE it!). There's no awkward conversation about what I didn't want done at the time, though if you call to discuss they'd give you the time and attention. When the car was done I got a text and was able to pick it up the same day.I highly recommend YHS.Service: Auto brake repair

I was referred to this place by my mechanic. He wasn t able to do the work so that s why he referred me to this shop. I m so happy that he did! They were professional and reasonably priced for the work that I was needing. I recommend this place if you re looking for quality service at a reasonable price . I was even looking at taking my car to the dealership but they told me it will take 2 or 3 weeks to get repairers done, These guys had the job done in two days Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic

This auto shop is the best one in Houston. All apologies to my former mechanic, but this company treats its customers very well. For example, on multiple occasions, they have done extra work on my vehicles (e.g. a diagnostic or fluid/ brake checks) and did not charge me. Additionally, they charge a fair price for regular maintenance, and explain the issues at hand very well.They re very honest, as well, and avoid recommending unnecessary work. This is a great place to take your vehicle, and I have recommended them to several people, all of whom are very pleased with their service and professionalism.

Went to YHS for the first time to get my older car's AC repaired for a broken compressor, called ahead to make an appointment and the car was fixed within a few hours after I brought it in! Their quote was competitive and rather than charging for a bunch of different things and racking up a bill they only replaced the part that was broken - thoughtful approach!Service was top notch and they answered all my questions with honesty and expertise. Pricing was fair and they did an excellent repair, AC is running cooler than ever. I normally do my own car repairs, but for the bigger projects I can't do myself I plan on coming back here!

This review is way overdue. I have been taking my cars to YHS since 2013 and they have always taken care of my cars and family. The last time I took my car to the shop to replace the brakes, there was an issue after I got my car back. I called and spoke to Eric and explained to him what was going on. He was very apologetic and immediately asked that I return the car to the shop that same day. I told him that I wouldn't be able to for another day or so, to which I expected him to respond "we will see you then" but to my surprise, he took it upon himself to come by to pick up my car, repair it and bring it back to me that same day. Talk about going the extra mile. I've never had any issues with Paul's shop before and even before Eric's actions, I would still have continued to bring my cars to them. Eric is a great reflection of how Paul runs his shop, with integrity and a genuine care for his customers. Thank you Eric!

Vehicle had two wheels with stuck lug nuts needing to be removed and replaced. Came to YHS and told them the issue; they quickly took my keys and info, and a while later called me with a quote for $1200 to $1800 to replace the hubs and lug nuts.This was a bit more than I expected to spend, so I said I wanted to look elsewhere. At this point was informed there would be a $120 check-out fee before they would give me my vehicle. Told the guy (manager?) I wasn t happy about being charged a fee that wasn t disclosed up front. He claimed they had done over an hour work to diagnose the issue and prepare the quote, though it wasn t clear to me why it takes so long to check lug nuts.Conversation takes a turn for the worse he repeatedly insists we don t work for free and asks condescending questions like Have you ever had work done on your car before (yes I have, why does it matter?). Complains that he is losing money.I called some other shops. Two shops quoted $500 and one quoted $400 for the exact same work that YHS wanted $1200. It ended up costing me $200 because the hub did not actually need to be replaced! This was my first time here and suffice to say it will definitely be my last.

It was time for some routine maintenance on my GMC Sierra, so I decided to give YHS a try. Suffice it to say they lived up to the overwhelmingly positive reviews - I was very impressed with their service, professionalism, integrity and efficiency. They performed the requested services without trying to upsell me, which is refreshing. In fact, when getting my annual inspection done at another local shop they had told me my truck was overdue for a differential fluid change, but when I mentioned this to Mike at YHS he was quick to point out that it was about 25,000 miles too soon and had the tech check and confirm that the existing fluid still had plenty of life left in it. Now that is how you earn repeat customers. Well done!
