We have used the Willowbend Automotive since 2005. Adam and his team are honest, reliable, professional and technically equipped to do an excellent job. Adam has fair pricing and is very trustworthy. He doesn't try to sell me something that I don't need.As long as I live in Houston, I will go to them for my car maintenance and repairs.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I've been going to Arthur's automotive repair services for over 20 years. He has always done a first-rate job on my cars! He can fix almost anything! On top of his expertise, his prices are extremely reasonable. Unlike most dealerships, he won't try to scare you into adding services that you don't really need. I recommend him to all my friends!

Excellent mechanics and more than fair pricing. My son had taken his car elsewhere and was told told he needed to replace power steering system. They said, no, only a small gasket and everything has been fine, which they did for a fraction of the price of the entire system. Responsive, honest and fair pricing. If you are in the Willowbend/Westbury/Braeswood area, this is the mechanic shop you've been looking for. My 2010 F150 and 2007 Lexus RX 350 have both been serviced and repaired here. They make it affordable to have the small stuff repaired before it's a major failure - and avoid car payments! Also, Adam has great referrals to very competitive body work, transponder keysmiths, etc. They fixed what we don't like dealership service departments!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

My entire family and I have been using this company for years, even when it was called Darden's. Have never once felt cheated or that I was getting incorrect information. Consistently honest and helpful. New owner is awesome and always willing to show or explain if you're someone does't know that much about cars and needs some background info to fully understand the problem. I have researched my problems before bringing the car in, and the prices are always fair. If something doesn't need to be fixed, they will tell you that and send you on your way. I don't usually post these, but I recommend this company to anyone who needs a mechanic.

Great auto repair shop, with quick, excellent service and pricing. If needed, they will make an appointment for you. They will never try to upsell you or tell you something needs to be repaired or replaced that doesn't. VERY honest. We won't go anywhere else.

We have used this garage for years. Adam worked with the Dardens for years and took over the shop when they retired. He runs a fine garage. He is honest, reliable, and his prices are fair.

Either dishonest or incompetent, maybe both. Had a problem with our truck which was a few hundred dollars to fix, so we said fine. Well the next day he claims there is another issue that will cost 10x the original amount. I was skeptical so spoke to a family member who is a mechanic and told me some questions to ask. As soon as I started asking questions, Adam became very angry, basically yelling, and accused me of trying to tell him how to do his job. He refused to explain his thought process beyond "I just know" and "this machine tells me". His angry/ defensive attitude was super sketchy, so we paid for the initial work and left. Took the truck elsewhere (another mechanic in the area) only to be told there is nothing wrong with it. Additionally, other quotes (for the work that we didn't actually need) were at least $1000 cheaper, including the dealership.
