PUSH UNNECESSARY REPAIRSWe ve taken my husband s Subaru Impreza here for the suggested maintenance on schedule since we purchased it from this dealership brand new. We hit 100,000 miles this year and suddenly had multiple issues. We brought in the car for repair and were told we needed to replace a Transmission Valve Body. Next was the radiator. After picking it up post radiator replacement, the engine light came on AGAIN. This time, we were told we needed a whole new motor or a new car.We decided to get a second opinion and took the car to a local trusted mechanic. They advised us to replace the engine coils, and the car has been running smoothly since the repair in December. This makes us question all prior recommended repairs from the Subaru service.This service department is unethical and suggests unnecessary repairs. I sent a complaint to Subaru with no response. Very disappointing.

Had a problem with 2019 Ascent front drive noise/ vibration. Eric, service rep went for test drive with me and had a good idea what was happening. Was going to take a couple days, so in a little over half an hour, he had me in courtesy vehicle (2023 Ascent...nice car!) Great sevice!

I took my car in yesterday because my Crosstrek air conditioner motor would not blow on high. I need to note at this point that I have a warranty on my vehicle and had the air conditioner compressor replaced at the beginning of the summer.In addition to the air conditioner motor, I asked for a battery check and oil change (because why make another trip in a few weeks).When I arrived, I was informed that diagnosing my air conditioner would cost several hundred dollars. I referred my advisor to my warranty and he suggested that I would need a different diagnostic for slightly less. I calmly but firmly told him that the air conditioner motor is fully covered under the warranty and I would refuse to pay for unnecessary diagnostics. I reiterated that I did want them to check out the battery because it has been a long hot summer.I also stated that I had to have the car back by 4:00 PM the next day.Last night I received a call and was told they have all the necessary parts and my car would be ready this morning.I texted a little after 11:30 this morning and then called a little before noon as I had no response. The first call simply hung up on me after holding for about 10 minutes. I called back and held another 10 minutes and was told I could pick up my car in 30 to 45 minutes.On arrival, I was ushered over to the cashier (who at first gave me the wrong bill in excess of $2,300) and finally paid and was handed my keys.When I got in my car to leave I glanced at the paperwork and my battery level was in the red zone. This was never mentioned to me at any time during or brief conversations with their staff.I thought about going back in and seeing if they could swap it out for a new battery but decided that not only did I not want to be without transportation for another day, but if they wanted my business they would have mentioned it and tried to ensure my vehicle was operating safely and properly.Instead, I drove to NTB and 30 minutes later drove away with a new battery.I do think I will find another place to do business with in the future. I am sure they will place a greater value on my time and business than West Houston Subaru seems to.I wish them well.

Very poor customer service in repairs department. Tried to do something that was unnecessary. Every time now (3 times) after i picked upfro repairs. More issued came upUp

They did a great job on my oil change and tire rotation.They found a nail in one of my tires and even patched it for me.They went above and beyond my expectations.I will be going here for all my services.

Tanner in the service department was great to work with - super responsive and professional. When we arrived to pick the car up, he along with the rest of the team at West Houston Subaru were all so positive and seemed happy to help their customers. Honest and helpful service advisors, which are very hard to come by. I worked with Tanner Hatridge when my 2015 Crosstrek ac stopped working and it was going to be a costly repair. He gave me useful advice about reaching out to Subaru USA about the situation and corporate was able to make whole of the situation. I hav also worked with other advisors here and I have not had a bad experience.

I worked with John V. He was very helpful and professional through the whole car buying experience. He was very transparent and ensures to have open communication. This was my first non stressful car buying experience. He is not just a salesmen but a great person to work with. If you are looking to buy a Subaru make sure to go in and ask for John V.

I want to start this review by stating that I've always had the utmost respect for Subaru and their company, until I went to this location.Last week, I dropped my vehicle off at Subaru for my 6 month inspection and recalls. When I dropped my car off, I had a brand new, personalized, RTIC cup in my car. This cup was from my dad, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. When I picked up my car the next day, I realized that my cup was missing. I didn't notice that it was no longer in my vehicle until I almost got home.When I realized it was missing, I went back to Subaru the next day. I thought surely this was an honest mistake. Maybe someone had taken my cup out when my vehicle was being cleaned. However, after looking around, the employees informed me they could not find my cup. I know that my cup was in my vehicle when I dropped it off, and I know for certain it was no longer in my vehicle when I picked it up.I talked to the service manager, Michael, two Fridays ago when this happened. I explained the situation to him and he agreed to replace my cup for me. I was very pleased that he said he would do this for me. As I said before, this cup was a gift from my dad, who has cancer. However, after calling Michael back three times with the information for the cup, and leaving three voicemails, he still has not contacted the shop nor has he called me back. The shop has now called him, and we still have not heard anything.I also emailed the General Manager about what happened and asked that he please help in this situation. I asked him to email or call me back. I still have not heard back from him. This was almost a week ago.In addition, I was informed that I had a nail in my tire and that the tire was not replaceable, and it needed to be replaced. After taking my vehicle to Discount Tire, who removed the tire, examined the tire, and put the tire in the water to check for a small nail, they found nothing.Both of these situations really make me question the integrity of this Subaru location and its employees.I'm mostly upset that I was told the cup would be replaced by Subaru, and now they are refusing to answer my calls or return my voicemails. To me, this is extremely unprofessional. I worked in the customer service industry for 4 years, so I understand how customer service should work. If I were you, I would be hesitant before taking my vehicle to this location.

I got a flat tire on the highways so I pulled into the nearest parking lot I could and waited for my sister to come help me change it. Chris saw us and came over to help, and he even added air to my spare cuz it was low and he was just a great help. I didn't even have a Subaru he was just a really friendly person.
