I ended up with a paint scrape on a brand new car. Called around for quotes including from the collision center associated with the dealership I bought the car from. Uptown Automotive's quote came in about 30% lower than the dealership's and comparable to the 4 or 5 other shops I received quotes from. They were very prompt and professional in their communication and had a large number of positive reviews so I decided to go with them. Driving up for the drop-off the shop does look a little rustic (I guess they've changed locations so the outside appearance didn't match that of the ones posted to Google) which gave me pause but I just went ahead. I'm glad I did because I had a great experience. The repair was flawless, no signs that it had ever been damaged. The job was completed a full day faster than was originally estimated. The final price was what had been quoted and agreed upon, no surprise extra costs. Hopefully I can keep the car in good condition for a long time, but if I were to pick up more dents and scrapes I would gladly bring it back here and would readily recommend this business to family/friends.

These people are absolutely amazing, they took care of anything, and I was checked to make sure you are comfortable with everything that they're doing! It's definitely worth it They have my business! Frank is a good guy, he makes sure his team is on it!

Based on my experience today, I have no clue how their rating is so high.I arrived early for my 10am appointment for an Alignment, Oil Change and Tire Rotation.After over 3 hours of waiting, I return to the office to inquire about my vehicle. Not finished. 30min passes and they completed the service.This is the first time (in over 3.5hrs) they inform me that they are unable to perform the alignment because of a damaged tire.But they went ahead with the tire rotation instead of informing me of the damage and letting me make a decision on whether or not to purchase new tires, or continue with the rotation. They charged me for FOUR hours of labor for a tire rotation and oil change and did not communicate with me once during the process.I m so glad I wasted 4 hours and money at this shop. At least they re friendly.

The staff was attentive. A few hiccups but they made the process comfortable and helpful. The parking is challenging but they are in the process with moving, why the the 4 stars but the time in getting the vehicle back was in a fair timing and offered assistance. So far with the work done and cost for a 2013 BMW 5 series was and has been very reasonable. The car has not been driven long enough to say more but as much as it has been after a couple days, so far I am happy.

I wish I had taken my car here earlier! These guys are concerned, professional, and more than fair in their work estimates and delivered product.My oil level light came in immediately AFTER I went to another repair shop and their answers didn t make me feel comfortable so I brought my car to Uptown and they discovered my car was short several quarts of oil. They didn t even charge me for the oil they added, just a state inspection! I will not take my car anywhere else!

Walk second into the place had my inspection done in 40 minutes from entrance to greeted to information taken down and working really well with the fact that I had my insurance on my phone. Really overall great experience atmosphere was great greeted and talked to respectably. Definitely will be coming back

After having hail damage from a drive back from Marshall to Houston TX, i was given a recommendation from Dent Dawgs to take it to Uptown Automotive in my neighborhood. Laura was so nice to work with as she handled the back and fourth with my insurance claim supplements and made my car look brand new again (after receiving over 100 hail dents). I highly recommend this shop for all your bodywork needs and they are also certified and guarantee their work!

I highly recommend Uptown Automotive! I have brought my cars here for a few years now and am always impressed and happy with their service. Zameer and his staff are always very nice, friendly and helpful. I have shopped around for price estimates, but always end up back at Uptown Automotive. Prior to my last body repair service, I was quoted almost double at another place and was told it d take 6 weeks to repair. Uptown Automotive fixed it for a lot less and finished the body work in a little over a week and my car looks GREAT!!!! Thank you, Uptown Automotive! You re the BEST!

Uptown Automotive did a great job repairing my car. Service and communication was fast, and everyone at the front office was very friendly and honest. I was given a much lower price than other shops. I definitely recommend Uptown Automotive!

Had a really great experience with Uptown Automotive when I went to get a dent on my rear bumper fixed. I was very upfront about my budget constraints and they did their best to work with me and deliver the best service. My car looks good as new!

Frank is a great customer service representative! My repair was expensive and he was understanding and cordial throughout the process. He also worked with my schedule since I live in San Antonio! I highly recommend Uptown Auto!!!

Most important reasons for choosing Uptown Automotive is their honesty and integrity to all of their customers. Went to a local dealership for a basic oil change and their service advisor informed me I needed to expensive repairs to my vehicle and wanted to complete them while I was there. I was suspicious and told the advisor no. Made an appointment with Uptown a few days later for a diagnostic evaluation. Glad I did. Frank advised me that the most expensive repair was not necessary and saved me $1300. They performed several maintence repairs at a very reasonable price. Zameer and his staff go above and beyond the customer's expectations. If you haven't given them a try, you should. I like many of their other customers will go back when my vehicle needs service in the future.

Uptown Automotive are the experts you definitely want on your side! I used to be skeptical dealing with mechanics, but ever since I got referred Uptown Automotive that feeling has gone away.Frank Ferreira from day one has gone above and beyond in not only explaining to me the problems my vehicle had and needed repair in but also things that in the future I will need to keep an eye on. Every step from repairing my vehicle, to talking to insurance reps and following up with me on every update, Frank made sure I was in the loop and answered all my questions.I couldn t be more pleased with their service in general. Five stars on service, professionalism, friendliness throughout the process. I highly recommend!!!

I took my car to Uptown Automotive because they had done previous work for me and was very satisfied. So I took my car back for repairs.The car had a broken spark plug and was running rough. Frank was very helpful in finding a used power seat motor to replace the one in my vehicle when the driver s side power seat operation quit in my 2013 Infiniti M37. First I called the Infiniti dealership and was told that my only choice was to replace the entire seat which was going to cost about $4,000! Knowing how dealerships operate, I didn t take that as the gospel and began calling around. Uptown Automotive fixed the problem with honesty and charged me the price of labor and the used part which ended up costing a fraction of the price - about $365. The power seat now works like new! These people are honest and fair and I will be returning in the future!

Staff was very friendly. Handle my car concern professionally.Very detail oriented when explaining problems. Explain to me the cost and labor showing me what parts i needed for the repair.. Grateful I came across Uptown Automotive. Frank and team took great care of my Subaru Forester with same-day service and a game plan for longterm care. You have to love a shop that services everything from McLaren's to Hyundai's with the same level of care and expertise.

Amazing experience, painted some s2000 parts. Worked tirelessly to get the paint right with multiple resprays. Tim the manager kept in constant touch and provided a competitive price.Shop uses plastic wrap on all interior parts to keep the car clean while doing their work. Flexible pick up and drop off times. Great customer service. Will use them again if needed.

It was my first time coming to Uptown Automotive and I have to say it was a good experience. I had a minor/moderate scratches on my car that took out the paint to the bare plastic on my bumper. The shop was able to paint it like nothing happened. They even took the time to wash my exterior and interior! It took a little over 3 days but was worth the wait. It's nice to know shops go above and beyond to take care of you and your car. Thank you.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Uptown Automotive did an incredible job with the repair on my 2020 Dodge Ram! The online appraisal process was smooth and they got back to me quickly! Once I brought my vehicle in, they kept me posted with updates along the way and made sure I was comfortable with any additional work before proceeding! I went in for an estimate on a bumper scrape and my car would not turn back on. Dustin took the time to try and jump my battery, and when that didn t work, they were more than happy to keep and evaluate it. Once they replaced the battery, it s been working great! Only thing professional at this place is Frank. The mechanic there? I'd be worried if they do an oil change. They don't do good work, but they know to charge you. Missing a bolt on the ignition coil, lost the bolts and nuts for catalytic converter , forgot to bolt the ecm to the firewall, vacum line was disconnected, break fluid reservoir was open. A handle on the passenger side is broken, plus they replaced the serpentine belt, because I found it shredded one in the floor board of my" I could only imagine how this supposed sae mechanic did that "or all of the above for that matter." Please don't send your vehicles here. This place was recommended and I was told they work on jeeps.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. They use a ride service and can get you to/ from the shop when you drop off your car (which is huge for me). Even though I came in for something small and ended up don't 2.5k of work, I felt like it was all necessary and pretty fairly priced. Very fast service and my car was returned washed and all fixed up. Honestly one of the easiest and best car repair experiences I can remember.I've also used them for several serious body shop repairs over the years and have had similar experiences. They work well with insurance too, and stay on top of the adjusters so you don't have to.
