Do not ever go to this place. Had my wife's car worked on for some A/C repair. Took it in, paid, and compressor failed within a month. Went back to have them look at it again, told me it was the compressor. I asked why it failed so quickly and the response I got was, "I saw some debris in your lines last time it was here and didn't think it would be that big of a deal. "Within another month it has failed again. So 2 compressors fail within 2 month! Unacceptable! He will not take care of you! Look elsewhere.The pictures below are of the second time the compressor has failed.Service: A/C installation & repair

I took my car here to get a diagnosis and possibly have it repaired. Before I even went to Tony s, I went to AutoZone, and got a free engine light test. So I know something was possibly wrong with my car. I had sensors and cam gear pop up. So I take my car to Tony s thinking they could really diagnose the problem. Not only did. I have to wait three days to get a result, but my result was the same engine light test from AutoZone. And they informed me that I had to pay the full diagnostic fee (which was about $140). To get the same exact results from AutoZone for free. I brought that to their attention and all they kept saying is that s the rules. I ended up taking my car to Christian brothers and paid the higher fee for the diagnostics, however, it turned out I didn t have to do anything my car was fine. Turns out I didn t have to change out all those sensors or cam gear, but I just had to change the oil. Christian brothers was more expensive, however, they don t nickel and dime you for things you don t need!!! And they give you an actual extensive report on a full diagnostics on your whole car not just what the engine light reader says. They also give you pictures to tell you what needs be replaced. Tony s give me the engine light diagnostic that i got for free at AutoZone. I wish I can give them a zero star. -Will not update or remove my review. It was for my 2016 GMC Acadia. I was 100% your customer and will never be again!__Joel Adams. I was a customer at your location! Stop trying to pretend I didn t come to your shop. I see you respond to a lot of your one star reviews with the same responses. As if no one goes to your location.

Good people. A/C went out in our minivan and you can't be without A/C in Houston. They diagnosed and replaced the compressor same day at what I felt was a fair price. When I picked up, Tony informed me that the radiator fan wasn't working (my vehicle has two fans and only one, the A/C side, was working) and he advised me to get that fixed as soon as I could. I'm no pro but I've done some work on cars in the past so I did some research and I decided that I didn't want to deal with taking apart the whole front of the van to get to the fan. So I brought it back the next day and Tony got it done all done same-day again. I was planning to do an oil change that weekend until the A/C went out, so I asked the girls at the front when I dropped off if they would agree to change the oil while they had the van as I was a returning customer. They said they would have to ask the owner. When I went to pick it up, Tony told me he did the oil change. I appreciate the extra level of service and I wouldn't hesitate to return if I need auto mechanic help again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This is my first time taking my vehicle there. I have changed the Throttle body myself. They got the part. might be defective but ended up just resetting the code and now I'm back on the road again. Thanks it was a great first time experience

Took my C4 Corvette here for AC said it would be 1800! More than corvette Everything. We thought it was high, they did offer cash discount. Not that it mattered because as soon as I picked it up they said engine fan fuze went out, but they replaced it. I asked if it was still good, they said yes. I leave the place and within 15 minutes my car is over heating!!! They knew there was underlying issue and let me drive off!!! I came here with no over heating issues. I had to get it towed to another shop after directly leaving this one!! Other shop says the AC lines still had air in them!! So on top of it the AC job wasn't done correctly. So crazy all their family members must have left all these good reviews because they definitely didn't take care of me quite opposite for sure! Like done on purpose, because they were mad I said they were priced higher than others.

******* UPDATE*******I got a response on my review saying they did not fit my needs, however my vehicle was taken in for the ac. AC repair is part of the business name. I was thanked for my constructive criticism but the solution was calling me rude and trying not to accept customers like me in the future. Not once did i raise my voice or use disrespectful language. I specifically stated my experience in my review, literally exactly what happened. Not a single reference to honoring their "12 month warranty" and fixing the problem i brought my vehicle in and paid for, no reference to the problem created when disconnecting something that creates another problem. Im not sure who would come in with a pleasant smile when returning their vehicle multiple times and being time the problem is fixed when it isn't and another problem created. Its definitely bad business and bad customer service. To top it off, you don't sarcastically tell someone have a good day when you know their upset at your failure and lack of service. This further proves every statement made in the previous post. I expressed the problem multiple times and received deflection.i took my car for the AC to be fixed and was told of a 12 month warranty. i took my car back less than 24 hours because the AC was blowing hotter than the heat OUTSIDE. once again i had to call to find out the diagnosis and was told everything was fine. my car didn't get driven for a week and the day i got back in it the AC was blowing as hot as a blow dryer. i took it back and was told something else was wrong and they would unplug another part to "fix the problem". I spece asked "isn't this going to cause a problem when it gets cold and i need to turn on the heat? The young associate literally said YES!!!!! HOW IS THAT FIXING A PROBLEM AND ITS ALSO CAUSING ANOTHER PROBLEM. I was also charged for a radiator fan but my car has NEVER RUN HOT. These ppl truly get over on ppl including the IRS because they offer a "tax free cash price" which is the same price without taxes unless you prefer a card transaction. you will be charged for parts you don't need and things will intentionally be done to make you bring your car back to spend more money. They don't care about the complaints because someone else will be there to have their money taken.

I would encourage to go elsewhere to get a diagnosis. Definitely get the feel they are more interested in getting a diagnosis fee than actual a quality repair. They cause damage to my ac system and acted like it was like that when I brought it in. In the end they were not sure what the problem was. BUYER BE WEAR. Not A GOOD SHOP.I have attached my receipt of payment since I don't know how to respond to there comment. Doesn't matter who I am just the information on service that was received is right and accurate.Service: A/C installation & repair

Stopped in to inquire of an engine light appearing on dashboard,. A diagnostic was provided on the spot with three options along with explanation of each option. Very helpful. For my first time at Tonys automotive it was a really good experience. The mechanics here are really professional. Showed up and these guys got right to work. Out of all the shops i've been to these guys are legit! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I had brought in my lifted chevy silverado to get the battery changed since the autozone down the street wouldn t do it since it was lifted and they where so friendly and happy to help and even helped me get the right battery since autozone couldn t do it. They had noticed my tags where about to expire so they did the inspection for half the price! My folks have gone to Tony's for years. I needed an inspection and wipers. So nice, quick! Super friendly folks. Had to go back today in fear a rock got stuck in a rotor. Strange grinding sound. Honestly he is a decent guy just high end price and unreliable. the car was fixed and along had a oil change . The car was driven about 2800 miles before it didn't turn on again after spending 4 thousand 8 dollars including snap finance the car was returned back to him to only tell me the starter wasn't working so I had to tow the car back to my house where my Mobil mechanic auto One mechanic Jason Manley came and gave me a hard restart on my car and works perfectly fine don't get scammed !!

Great Work! They did a honest and great job on my truck today. Power steering pump was out, i put it new with them 6 months ago and luckily was still under warranty. They put a new pump and got the job done in less than 3 hours all for free since it was under warranty. Very honest people. Will definitely be back here in the future for any issues. Definitely recommend them for all your vehicle needs.

Really honest people, went to get my truck diagnosed and since the part wasnt available anywhere at the time, Tony called me and let me know and I asked how much was the diagnosis is going to be since they did diagnose my truck and he said, hey I couldn't find the part you don't owe me anything and I even asked what about what I owe you for checking it and diagnosing it, and he said it's nothing. Very very honest people this will be my go-to auto repair shop from now on.
