Not to knock on any other shop, but two other shops gave me the runaround today when I asked for my spacers to be installed. Tesla model three performance spacer install took these guys 45 minutes and they charge me a fair enough price where I will definitely come back to them in the future for my Tesla installs. Hope you guys can install that swivel screen on the model three and hardwire my radar for me in a couple weeks. :)

I took my vehicle there for a small repair and they tried to charge me 4 hours labor and keep my vehicle in for days. After back and forth couple times i got tired of their lock of coordination and inability to repair my vehicle so I decided to take my vehicle to dealership. They were shock to hear what they were trying to charge me was double. Not sure if they are following Repair/Labor manuals or come up with whatever they want to charge. Repair was done within an hour by certified dealership. Definitely not going back there.!!!

I was hoping that this would be an option for me, given the competitive prices compared to a dealer. I went for a simple oil change and they used the wrong type/spec of oil for my car. My car requires 0w-30 API-SP oil (per the manufacturer's recommendations) and they used 5w-30 API-SL. The SL rating is significantly lower than what is required for my engine, and now I need to drain and replace the oil myself. Be careful if you have a newer car and are planning an oil change - ask beforehand which type of oil they will use and make sure it matches your owner's manual.UPDATE: I will be happy to revise my rating if there is a misunderstanding. My invoice lists an oil part number of LM20365. Searching the manufacturer's website, the oil is described as Special Tec LL SAE 5W-30 with a rating of API-SL. This can be a problem if a warranty repair is ever necessary on the vehicle and I need to show proof that the engine was maintained with the proper oil. Certain warranty coverage may be denied if the incorrect oil was used.

About 3 years ago my engine blew out a gasket and oil got all over some wiring. The mechanic at the dealership replaced some of the wiring but missed one cable, recently that issue was discovered and talk about looking for a reputable automotive electric shop to repair it ( I didn't want to go back to the dealership because they take weeks ) . One electric shop wanted to replace the entire hardness which would have costed some BIG MONEY , another shop told me that all that had to be done is splice the wiring but that they were backed up with 10 cars already. Other shops didn't want to deal with the problem but , one of them referred me to Texas International Motors. Well, I spoke with Jose and explained in detail what needed to be done. The shop that actually discovered the problem basically did a band- aid job just to get me back on the road and explained to me that I needed to get the vehicle to an electric shop because that's not their specialty , anyway, I had pictures of the Mickey Mouse job they did and showed that to Jose as well. I brought the vehicle in the next morning and quite frankly they truly impressed me. Not only was the job done quickly but also very well within budget. As far as I am concerned, this shop truly rolled out the Red Carpet for me!!! Jose explained to me in detail what was done and quite frankly I am confident that they did an excellent job.

Took my Tesla there to get an alignment. I was so pleased with the work, I got them to replace the upper control arms. After that I got them to give me a custom alignment. All the work done was perfect and for a lot less than Tesla. These guys are awesome!

They don't care if u have old car or if they fell u look cheap. However I trust them but What they say wait when u want some updates they will tell u wait. After 2 days I got my Diagnosis but the guy was so rude (Luis). I was okay to fix but the guy dosen't care about customer service. Even he was blaming for something. However I was happy to leave. Also price was overpriced. Exact same issue repair show was doing twice cheaper. Good luck with your business. I hope they will do better customer service in future. For now don't experience my situation.

Audi told me my repairs on my Audi A8 would be 10k. Texas Auto did them and some for less than 1/3rd the price.My car went right to the back and they were done within the time frame they quoted me.I'm sold. First time I've gone to a mechanic and not felt like they were trying to run me up.

This is best body shop ever!!!I do business and personal.All of my cars(Porsche, Audi, Tesla) take care from here.How professional, and kindness.I recommend all of my family and friends.I don t write down review usually, but it s worth spend time and money for this shop!!!

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!I was visiting out of town and had some issues with my Audi. On a Saturday of all days during the week they were able to get me in, out, all fixed in less than 2 hours. Would visit this shop again if I ever needed to.

I ve been using these guys for years and felt like they use to do good work but I recently have not been satisfied with their work or diagnoses. I brought my truck to them because it kept running hot. (All within 45 days)First time they said it was my thermostat (450$ +)second time they said it was my radiator (1200$ +) and the tow fees for every trip. 3rd time guy at the counter who answer phone was rude (always kinda in a mood like he doesn t want to answer questions) but this time actually rude. Seem like they had a hard time trying to see why it was running hot and just told me anything saying it was my head gaskets maybe and it would cost me $4,000 + to get it sent to shop and corrected. I took my car to another shop for another opinion and the problem wasn t my engine I was told in fact I had a perfectly running engine but the problem was my radiator fan and temp sensor which only cost about $300 total.I could ve lost money and it still wouldn t have fixed the issue so yea I won t be using these guys again !!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

My wife's GLE had the Check Engine light on. The car was just out of warranty window and I was dreading high service cost at the dealership. I decided to give Texas International Motors a try. Boy, that was the best decision for a long time. They took the car to the back once I arrived and took it back to the front after 40 minutes. I was told the light was related to a small leak from the fuel tank because the cap may not be tightened properly. The cost of the work was ZERO! Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. 40 minutes of work on Saturday and they didn't charge me a penny, which said a lot about their service and mission. I will definitely work with them in the future and am very glad I can avoid the dealership.

I bought a salvage Tesla that was sitting at another shop for 6 months. They could not fix it. I towed my car to Texas International motors on Friday afternoon and by Saturday they had it up and running. Im Sold!

Jose and his team are the best. Very professional and friendly. I have been bringing my vehicles to them since 2009 when I first moved to Houston. Their work is A1 from my E 500 to my Mercedes Benz C250. I have always been very satisfied with the service and you can t beat the prices. I been coming to TIM for about 2 years now, they have fixed anything from something as small as an oil change or light bulb replacement to a job that requires multiple hours of work. I have always been satisfied with their work. TIM is also fair with their pricing specially when compared to other foreign shops around and/or the dealership. But more than anything i am always returning because of the excellent work of Jose & Cesar. Those guys have always made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Cesar has been the hands on mechanic for my vehicle and he has earned my complete trust, i look forward to continue business with these guys.

Returned loyal customer. It is wasn't for this place, I would have sold my BMW convertible and go with a Lexus. Very honest and professional service. My cabin fan stopped working. They quickly made the diagnosis and replace the regulator. The labor cost was fair and honest. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to this establishment for years. They take care of my Mercedes. Honest and dependable. Great service and I know they will not overcharge me or create false issues. They explain fully what needs to be fixed before they do it. No hidden charges. I fully trust the owner. Car runs great after each repair.

These guys are awesome. We have five cars in my family two Mercedes a Rover and a Porsche. I am so glad I fund this shop not only they saved me thousands of Dollars but the problems are being repaired the first time. I can testify that their diagnostic is much better and more accurate than local dealerships and the prices are less than half as much. These guys really take their time to explain the problem and offer you the best solution. I have never seen any place like that. I just wanted to say thank you Texas International Motors.

The most honest service I have ever received. I first brought my BMW 428i to Advantage BMW Midtown and that place was full of crooks. They said my car had leaks and that fixing the headlight vertical alignment would cost thousands. I knew then that they were making up stuff to charge me. I then searched for a privately owned service center and got lucky with this place. The owner first told me just to bring the car over free of charge to check it out. There was absolutely no leak. The headlight just needed to replace a sensor connector located at the left front wheel suspension. He also figured out the annoying noise by adjusting the firewall insulation. I am taking my BMW here for all future service. Take your luxury car here when it is no longer under warranty. If you hate your money and want to be ripped off, go to Advantage BMW Midtown.

My Escalade s ball bearings were getting old and I needed them replaced. The owner of the auto shop I used to go to is no longer in business so I needed to find someone else to take care of my work, so I decided to give Texas international a chance to help me out.Without hesitation, they were even more professional than the place I used to go to. Price seemed similar to what I would ve gotten at my original auto shop but speed of service was remarkably better. With that said, I m positive that I ll be a long term customer here, as long as they are in business.

We had an issue with our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter having some body damage and these guys knocked it out of the park. Super friendly service and a great interactions. I would highly recommend taking your european car there for body work.

I have been coming to Texas International Motors for 6 years. They know my little VW convertible and as I drive in they know my name. Texas International Motors is a great professional car service and repair shop. My wife and have been bringing our cars here since 2008. We have a BMW, Mercedes Benz,Toyota and a Chevy and they have done a great service job to all of them. The savings and the professional service is why we keep coming back. The way I found out about Texas International Motors was from a friend who sold us the BMW. Meant to write this review way earlier, like 6 months ago! Have been coming here for the majority of the maintenance on my 2012 Mercedes and have always gotten a much better price than the dealership! Owner has been up front and friendly every time. Usually I'll drop my car off in the morning before work, catch a ride downtown to the office with the shop's driver, then get a ride after work to pick up the car. Have also had a water pump replaced here via aftermarket warranty and that went smoothly.Will be returning in a few weeks for another oil change!

Ever since I took my CLS 550 to Texas International Motors (TIM), I have become TIM's regular, loyal customer. I don't even bother to go to the dealership because of the difference in both quality of service and cost of repairs.Yesterday, I took my CLS 550 to TIM because one of its tires had a nail in it and kept losing pressure. Jos�, an expert in my opinion, not only had the leak patched (no more leaks & pressure drops) but did not charge me anything.He is a consummate professional who understands his customers & what it takes to provide high-quality service.Thanks, as always, for providing high quality, reliable service.Service: Tires

We have trusted TIM for years for competent reasonably priced repairs and maintenance on our Mercedes and Porche. Conveniently located in the Galleria, Waits are short, Every service has been done properly we have never had to return for problems Having lived in Houston over 40 years we have tried many mechanics. Texas Internationals is by far the BEST with German luxury cars even our older models!
