I ve had a fantastic experience with the team at Texas German Autohaus. Having purchased a 1989 Mercedes-Benz r107 I needed a lot of help turning it into a reliable car for daily use (ambitious, I know). Finding someone to work on an older German car in Houston was difficult, until I was finally referred to TGA and have been enjoying my car ever since.Some of the things they ve expertly fixed/replaced for me are the fuel pumps, injectors and fuel distributor, control arms, ball joints, front shocks, subframe mounts, engine and transmission supports, ac compressor, condenser and blower, seat hardware, shifter bushings, seals for doors/hard top/soft top windows, and they even replaced the steering wheel and shifter knob with custom ones I supplied.The team is extremely knowledgeable and have cared about my car as if it was their own. I ve appreciated their attention to detail, transparency, and careful explanation of parts sourcing options. Excellent experience! I found a car in the Houston area and needed a PPI. Very easy to schedule (and reschedule when the car did not show up to the shop). The inspection was incredibly thorough and honest with detailed videos and explanations of everything the mechanic observed. Spoke on the phone after receiving the report and got a great summary of everything. I will definitely work with Texas German Autohaus again if I ever need an expert in Houston.

Ever since I got my first BMW two and a half years ago, I've struggled to find a BMW mechanic who is fair, honest, reliable, and charges reasonable prices. Texas German Autohaus is all of these things. They were able to accurately diagnose my problem in a short time and charged me a fair price. I strongly recommend them.

Dropped off the BMW at the scheduled appointment and took no time at all to get a full, detailed report on the issues at hand.High quality, detailed work with full transparency. By far the best mechanic shop I've worked with thus far. Highly recommend for BMW work.

I found TGA through NextDoor and am so glad that I did! I was just getting ready to purchase another maintenance contract through the dealership when I decided to look at other options. I called and talked to Matt who was very patient with my questions. I was really pleased with the service I received and feel like my car is in great hands going forward. Highly recommend!

I took my car in for a specific repair (in order to get my car ready for potential sale). They came back with a laundry list of 5-6 other items I need to (or should) have done. But unlike a lot of body shops that tell you all of those items are required immediately, one quick call to TGA, and their technician was very open about helping me understand what items were critical vs what could be done as part of recurring maintenance at some point in the future. I greatly appreciated that level of honesty and transparency. I never once felt pressure to pay for things that weren t critical. Their service is very professional and I really liked working with them.

Professional, informative and highly responsive repair facility that knows Mercedes, and Michael took my car in the same day to at least tell me what the issue was!Texas German Autohaus provides a much better experience than their non-dealership competitor, Today's European Cars, that was highly unprofessional when I went there just to get a quote, and I would never think about doing business with again.

A great place to visit if you I've a sporty foreign car or any type of exotic car. They also work on Lexus and Range Rovers now and are in the process of getting certified for Tesla. They've worked on everything from 2 of my Porsche 911s to a Mercedes V12, a Porsche Cayenne, a Fisker Karma, and a Number of cars that I've considered buying with recommendations and prepurchase inspections. They are excellent and I definitely recommend go here after multiple other over price under Quality shops. Michael is the guy that I've used and hes always been excellent. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Matt and Co. did another fantastic job with same day special ordering and installing my auxiliary battery as well as meticulously and fairly servicing my SL 550. These guys honesty and professionalism put the dealerships to shame.

TGA identified all pending problems with my 2013 S 550 Mercedes promptly and quantified what needed to be addressed now and what could wait until my next service. I have been taking all my out of warranty Mercedes to TGA for 15+ years and have always found their pricing and suggested repairs to be fair and reasonable. I trust TGA implicitly. They have always gone above and beyond to provide incredible customer service.

TGA was recommended to me via a Facebook Group so I called and spoke with Michael. He was super professional and offered to set up an appointment to see if they could address the issue. I had my appointment today and after taking a look he determined it would take him a few minutes to address the issue. Becuase it was a quick and easy fix he did not charge. He has earned our business for all of our VW repair needs going forward. Thank you Michael for being so knowledgeable and Awesome!!

I want to thank Michael, Carlos and the staff at Texas- German AutoHaus for their excellent repair of my 1998 Mercedes Benz 230C. The car needed to be repaired by those familiar with the car. Their expertise was extremely important. I learned so much about the car. They knew what parts were needed and found them. There are many of us out there with these vintage cars. I have been working with Matt for number of years and it is great to be able to trust your advisor knowing that he has your best interest in mind.The quality of work is great and they know their stuff.
