I had been with this business for many years and always OK with the service until the "new management" took it over. This time they did not seat 3 O-rings correctly around the spark plug wells so engine oil leaked. This "new manager" did not admit the mistake they made even after his own mechanic and I showed him the problem together.Unless you want to pay twice or more for one repair, don't go there.

I ve been coming to this shop for two years for my 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Before January 2023, they have done great work on my vehicle such as battery changes and a contaminated gas drop I had. However, when Ahmed, one of the mechanics, left this shop everything has been a downfall. Upon his return, since May 2023, I have been having check engine lights every 1-2 weeks after the mechanics repaired my car. It was becoming an annoyance and an inconvenience that I finally took it to Davis Chevrolet. After taking my car to the dealership, they informed me the repairs were not only unnecessary but was instead an exposed wire issue in the engine wiring harness that has been deteriorating due to age and shifting from the mechanics here who worked on it. I have over $5,000 in parts and labor done on this car at shop this year. For a peace of mind, if you need your car to be serviced, take it to a dealership or a reputable mechanic shop, but for basic maintenance, they are great!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Just had work done here. Texas Auto Work is my go to place to have my car serviced and fixed. All the employees are wonderful. If damaged isn't too bad, they will get you in and out as soon as possible. They're very far when it comes to your car maintenance. No over pricing and extra charges.

Wow what amazing service I when Ttl get my car checked out this autoshop is amazing clean they were very welcoming and understood and very helpful and bathroom was clean and very appreciative I really recommend this auto shop

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!! The receptionist looks really weird. I went there two weeks ago for regular maintenance like oil change, tire rotation and I told him that I was concerned that it might have some issues with my vehicle, so please have a deeper check. I was told my vehicle was all good. Then just after two weeks, it stuck on the midway of going home so I needed to tow it to this F$&king store. Then you guess what: the receptionist told me they could not fix the problem and told me to bring it to the dealership. Then after that I went to another store, had the issue fixed. It was proved that it s just a little issue about the air flow. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU WANT TO GO TO THE PLACE, better find a better place.

Houston Texas Auto is the best shop I have ever been to. I have been coming here over 5years and service has been absolutely amazing. The prices are affordable, they are very time efficient, and when ever they are done with either of my cars, I always leave out with a big smile on my face. Good auto shop to have in your back pocket, for any kind of odds and ends work that need to be done. They don t usually do major bodywork or paint jobs, however, mainly more mechanical one, but give them a call and they ll let you know they can do. their mechanics are easy to talk to, reasonable and give you clear information and don t try to work you over. Been here a couple times and I ve brought my own parts for them to replace which I appreciate and they don t charge any additional fees for that which I can t see the same for other major changes or shops. can get busy during mid-day to the evening.

#STAYAWAY! I ve been coming here for 10 years and today is the first day they refused to give me an oil change because they state they have to get ready to close down. They close at 6pm I arrived at 530, this place is known to have quick oil change service and this is the first time their customer service has been awful. Put a disclaimer on your site that the last customer is at a certain time and also put it in writing in your office You all will no longer get my money and I will no longer refer anyone to this place. I encourage everyone to go to Houston Texas auto care down the street on westridge because the previous owner Ahmeed works there and is speedy and knows how to give two way communication and excellent customer service.

After waiting in line for a while, as Husain went back and forth with two customers in a row in front of me. I was asked to come back another day so that my service would be done in a reasonable amount of time, so I made an appointment. I dropped my car early morning and Hussain called me around 4pm to tell me he needs to break the locks off of all of my tires because there was no tire lock key. After I told him that was not an option he told me he would call back and asked me to pick my car up the next day which I told him that wouldn t work for me since he previously told me to come back so that my service would be completed in a timely manner. I had to go back to the shop physically, with no call back or call answer, for him to tell me he eventually found the key and it would take another two hours and he choose not to call back because he was embarrassed for not recognizing the key, which to me sounds like an honest mistake but after being so rude to me prior he made the decision to not update me.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

i usually go here for my inspections every year, but today my battery passed on so I went to Texans Auto Works. They are SOOOO helpful and I was in and out in very little time. Thanks so much, I'll see you guys next month for my inspection.Great business that serves their customers well.I like the new remodel, too.

This is the best shop ever, i have been taking my car here since i bought it 3 years ago and their work is amazing , they never have me waiting for too long and they customer service is great, they make sure you understand everything and make sure that they inform you about your car, great prices, great everything!!! I just went to get new break pads and roaders 2 days ago. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE ME HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE, they do their best at all times.

Went here to have my brake pads changed. Quick, easy and no problem. Within an hour of leaving my brake caliber broke shredding my tire and my rim. After having the car towed back he gave me a rental. Was nice about it all and would have it fixed. My Jeep was fixed and when I went to drive it the tire pressure system wasn t working correctly now. So I went back again and they fixed that as well. They ordered me a new rim which is a completely different color. I told him I needed to have matching rims? Ahmeed yelled at us saying he wasn t there that day they ordered the wrong color Because he is was at his lawyers office and he s not wasting the money for the correct one. He then yelled at me on the phone for requesting the correct rim for my Jeep. They painted my rim the wrong color. So now I have a random rim that doesn t match my Jeep. First time anyone has yelled at me for requesting the correct color part. Worst experience I ve ever had with a mechanic. We are lucky we were on a slow road and not the freeway when the brake caliber broke.Service: Brakes

You always fear that you going to find a mechanic shop that try to take advantage of you, but I can truly say that this mechanic shop is above the line and honest. They always quote me a reasonable price and they let me know beforehand what needs to be fixed on my car before they try to do it to make sure I understand how much it cost and what all goes through to it. In June 2020 I had an air compressor put in. Last week my air went out. I took my car to them on 7/17/2021 for them to look at it. He said it s the air compressor. He said I got you but we can t do it today. Cool. I took it back to them today 7/19/2021 at 7am and picked it up 2pm. My air is now fixed. Thank you Jesus! Now mind you I was outside of my warranty by a month. They didn t charge me a thing. Kind and professional! Thank you guys so much for all your help. Definitely recommend for being professional, honest and all around stand up people.

do not bring vehicles here, very slow paced and unprofessional. Took one hour to swap a tire of a 22 rim , to add insult to injury they etched a whole line around my rim where they mount/dismounted.

Absolutely love these guys!! We've been bringing our vehicles here for years. Pricing can't be beat and they are always very honest. Our favorite part is we can get our oil changed and a complete car detail all in one visit! They've done major repairs on our vehicles to just simple maintenance. We're always very happy with their work.

I am always Very happy with their professionalism and being able to take care of me in a timely fashion. I came to them twice with major axle issues and both times they me feel comfortable with leaving my car with them ANY TIME and they work with you on costs. Also they work efficiently! I highly recommend them to anyone in any need of major or no major car services.

Does not disappoint!! Jay has my back consistently! I m a cautious driver but these past 10 months haven t been the best. My first accident I was hesitate but the location was so convenient that I decided to give it a shot; since then I ve had 3 more accidents. Jay and his team got me back on the road ASAP. Amazing team!!

I absolutely appreciated the honesty at this particular establishment. The mechanic that did my car inspection was very nice and he was very honest with me about anything that was with my car. When I told him what issues I had with another mechanic shop he immediately looked at my car and it was no problems no discrepancies anything that I needed I believe that he would tell me. I do plan on coming to this location in the future.

This Mechanic shop is the best. They honor their warranty policy. Mr Ameed is gonna treat you, with dignity and respect....Im hooked for life. I recommend this place, to women, who may not have a mechanic shop...Thank You Texas Auto. We need more business like you.

I can thank Ameed and the entire Texas Auto Works crew enough for their outstanding service, and effecient work that they do. They even texted me a few days later just to make sure that I wasn't haven't any reoccurring issues with the car. They really take care of the customer. They are very accommodating, and didn't try to gouge my pockets. Best place in town in my opinion!

I ve been going to Texans Auto Works since I moved to Houston last year and they are hands down the best. I moved down here with 2004 Pontiac Vibe with 280,000 miles on it. They fixed every issue I had with it quickly and professionally and made my old car feel like new every time. Ameed and his team are really good about thoroughly explaining the issue (which is super helpful given my limited car knowledge) then breaking down the price to fix it. And the prices are always really fair! Recently, I got a VW Golf and they got me in right away to inspect the car before I bought it. Today I had a tiny run in with a license plate that took my bumper off and they got it popped in and fixed in a matter of minutes. These guys are truly the best of the best and they ll have my business as long as I m in Houston.

This is hands down one of the best shops in Houston. I've been dealing with suspension problems on my 2015 Charger RT since the day I bought it brand new from the dealership. I've taking in for warranty work about 20x and the dealership literally replaced almost every component in entire front suspension but never resolved the issue. Amid and his team throughly examined my vehicle and fixed my issue that I have been battling for 3 years within 4hrs. Highly recommended!!!
