Service is great and pricing is very affordable!! I called here and after the Hyundai dealership charged $2400 for struts/mounts replacement and an alignment. If you can hear the struts in the first video making a rubbing sound and the second video is me turning the wheel after the replacement. My car rides very smooth now. I hope this review helps anyone.

My husband and I have taken our vehicles to Southwest Alignment for 20 years and counting. This family-run business has treated us like family. Lee has gone well beyond in service to accommodate needed repairs before my husband s cross-country business trips. For this we are truly grateful and will always send friends and family his way.

After a bad Firestone experience- I returned to this place. I've been going here for over 20 years. It looks like a grungy but efficient locally owned auto suspension shop. The woman at front is cheerful and bilingual. The waiting area is clean and comfortable- for what it is. The tattooed mechanic is probably the owner and he provided me with a nicely aligned car at a bargain price of $70.00. I think the people here are talented, honest and sincere. Lucky for me, that's what I like!

It depends on whether you want to have the parts you paid for installed and if you want your vehicle to be safe to drive when you leave. If you read my reviews of other businesses, you will find that I praise them highly when they do what they say they will. I recall leaving only one negative review before going to Southwest Alignment, and I gave that company an out because my dissatisfaction may have resulted from extenuating circumstances. In the case of Southwest Alignment, there were no extenuating circumstances. What was once a well-respected and trustworthy business was sold to a new owner notvery long ago, so if you have parts, such as Bilstein shock absorbers, installed on your vehicle, check your receipt carefully before leaving to be certain the brand of parts you paid for is written legibly on it. Also, be certain to keep your receipt because Southwest Alignment does not keep copies of them and has no way of retrieving them, according to the placard in their office. Then, later, check your credit card statement to make sure the amount billed to your card company equals the amount on your receipt, and you will need the receipt if you file a claim for a refund with your credit card company.I returned home after leaving my vehicle at Southwest Alignment thatday, which I expected to pick up later that afternoon based on what Lee had told me. Awhile later Lee called and told me that my vehicle had 50K miles on it, so it was time for new shocks. I was happy with how myvehiclerode before I brought it in, so I wanted OEM shocks as replacements. Lee went into a maniacal rant explaining a (painfully) long list of why Bilstein shock absorbers were the best. I then insisted on the OEM shocks as replacements; however, Lee told me it was too late because he had already installed the Bilsteins. After Lee had kept my vehicle for several days, I returned home and glanced under it expecting to see the yellow Bilsteins but seeing black shocks instead, I called Lee, and he told me that the color of the shocks depended on the factory where they were made. After checking the internet, I found nothing corroborating Lee's statement, so I crawled under my vehicle and snapped a pic of the serial number on them.I Googled that serial number and found out Lee had installed a much lower grade of FCS shocks on my vehicle. It was then that Ilearned Lee at Southwest Alignment had another odd business practice, claiming that the consumer had to take up the issue of the wrong brand of parts being installed on their vehicle with the parts supplier as this was not Lee's fault because he said that he does not have time to inspect each part before installing it despite the Bilstein shocks I paid for being a distinct shade of yellow as opposed to the black FCS shocks Lee installed on my vehicle.I next took my vehicleto AmericanWheel and Tire, where Johnny took care of me and let me know that SouthwestAlignmenthad left the jam nuts on my tie rods completely backed off, causing the front end to be dangerously loose and, if not spotted soon enough could have resulted in completeloss of steering with thefront wheels suddenly going in opposite directions from each and likely a swerve into another lane. If this happened on the freeway, it could have caused a fatal accident not only for myself and my passengers but others in vehiclesaround me. I also discovered that Bilsteins do not come with a spring perch for the front struts, requiring the spring perch from the OEM front struts to be installed on the Bilsteins. However, FCS shocks do come with a spring perch, and once a shop has discarded the OEM struts, it turns out one will need new spring perches, which are not available separate from the entire strut assembly, which are around a thousand dollars.Fortunately,Johnny at American Wheel and Tire found some OEM struts out back that they could use.Caveat emptor.

I had a great experience. The technician was extremely knowledgeable. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My wait time was not unusually long. The cost of the type of work that had to be done I was very grateful for the assistance that I received.

Was at Southwest alignment yesterday for 12hrs waiting to get my truck and was told by the mechanic Lee that I would have to pay more because the screws that goes through the control arm bushing was turned wrong. That bothered me because I know my mechanic knows what he's doing and will never do his job different than factory specs, so I went home call him and he looked up the pictures from the factory layout of my truck the screws and bolts was turned the correct way Lee just lied to charge me more for the work because I didn't let him do the work on my truck. This guy is dishonest so watch how he uses lies to charge you more.

Really great alignment service, a person on the front desk was able to provide an accurate estimate on how long will it take to complete the job. Lee was professional and polite, explaining all the possible problems that my car may have and then double checking the alignment to make sure everything is in spec.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Great company to help with wheel alignment. They were able to help me same day, and did an excellent job getting everything straightened out. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a mechanic you can trust DO NOT GO HERE. LEE will not honor your life time warranty which is fine, what s not fine is not only accusing the customer of lying about the work that was done on the car, but taking it upon himself to go through the papers in my glove compartment looking for a lie as well! I ve NEVER experienced the treatment I ve experienced here!! LEE YOU ARE NOT A MECHANIC THAT CAN BE TRUSTED, NOR A PERSON THAT CAN BE TRUSTED.

This not a bank, this is a disgraceful mockery of clients. They never open. When they are there won t be any managers inside, just cashiers. Cashiers won t be able to help you with anything but very basic needs. They will send you to another location where will be the same results. It was first bank in the US seven years ago. They were friendly and effective. IDK what happened to them since than.

This is the best alignment shop I ve ever been to. They are not only professional, but actually do a really good job of aligning lowered cars. I ve taken my last four cars here ranging from slammed on coil overs, to a H&R Bilstein setup on a 124 Abarth. Most recently they aligned my factory manual IS300 after I replaced every bushing, suspension component and steering component on the car. Drives like a dream. They go above and beyond - highly recommend.

Worst customer service. There is no zero star rating, otherwise SHOULD be rated ZERO. Better get your car repair done with nearby mechanics. On the brake pads giving warranty for only 6k miles, whereas other provide for 36K. IF YOUR CAR DOESN T NEED MAJOR diagnosis, DONT COME HERE. Reasonably expensive, WORST FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST EVER SEEN.

I went in not knowing what to expect pulling up to a random shop. Lee provided nothing but great and fast service. He also did something most mechanics wouldn t he showed me what was wrong and explained everything perfectly. I will return and once again I appreciate Lee for helping me get my car back on road

I was recommended here from reddit and went in for an allignment today. I have nothing but good things to say about Southwest alignment services.Isreal the mechanic took good care of me and my car, I don't like other people working on my Honda but I felt secure with his experience. He brought me back into the shop and showed me what parts of my steering system needed matinence and gave me a quote. He didn't require I needed it today but just informed me on the situation and also wrote down what parts I needed! I declined the service as I felt I could do the job myself but him showing me the problems was extremely helpful.Price was great too, cheaper than Firestone and pep-boys. Call ahead for a quote!10/10 would recommend Southwest Alignment Services, they've gained a customer for life.

My mechanic, who used to with at Gilman Honda, recommended out family to take our cars here for alignment services. These guys are the best in alignment - reasonable price, quality workmanship and are not pushy for an upsell. I've been going to Suggest Alignment for 5+ years and plan to go back soon! The best time of day is to go early in the morning. Southwest Alignment does not have a booking system. I would not go in the afternoon (e.g. 1-2 hours before they close) as this place gets filled up quick!

Lee and team are the best in Houston. If you have a vehicle and are in the Houston area you CANNOT afford to NOT bring your vehicle here. They truly care about their customers, do a phenomenal job, and are straight forward and down to earth. Even after moving from this area I will continue to bring my vehicles here for alignment and suspension work. Cannot thank everyone here enough.
