I needed a place to get my inspection sticker done after I got off work. SMG Auto Service was the only place open until 7:30PM. George took Great Care of me and even stayed open a little later so I could get my inspection done. Great Customer Service!! I will be back!!

Called here because I seen they were open until 7:30 and I get off at 7 from work. George stayed open late to ensure that I got it done, and even advised me about another issue to keep an eye on. He gave a great recommendation for my husbands car and just and overall amazing person. If you have any mechanical issues don t hesitate to stop by and get it looked at!!

Shout to the crew at SMG! Not only did they do my inspection, but also got my oil changed, AND they installed a part on my car saving me 100s compared to what the dealer was trying to charge me. Thankful I found them today. Super nice guys!

George and his people worked on my truck. They did a great job. They may sure the work was done right. They also took the time to check and fill all my fluids and air in my tires. Thanks for a great job.

It s a great experience we had here. They have good technicians Joe and Georhein this shop and provided us a great service. Really really good services I ve even been. I would strongly recommend this shop for any car services.They will recommend what ever required or not. Its budget friendly with great customer satisfaction.

In your reply, you mentioned to reach out to you for further concerns, but there are no contact info to reach out to. Yes, I want to settle this legally and under proper supervision. Please message me directly on this profile. My visit to SMG Auto Services has triggered my PTSD symptoms and I am seeking medical attention at this moment to address the mental and emotional abuse I sustained at SMG Auto Services before symptoms gets worst.How exactly did George triggered my symptoms? I believe once he thought I was a druggie and an alcoholic, that is was okay to be abusive towards me. He became a different person after looking into my car. I didn't go to SMG Auto Services to get judged for my lifestyle choices. This is not speculative. George interrupted a conversation I was having with another person at the shop to tell us "drinking is disgusting and I don't drink". We were talking about MAIN street in HTX. It has nothing to do with drinking. But that doesn't mean its okay to talk to people abusively just because you think they make bad life-style choices. George's holier than thou attitude does not justify his abusive behavior and treatment towards a customer.If you look in my car, its easy to jump to the conclusion that I am a druggie. I smoke CBD flower. Its 100% legal that I buy from a professional business down the street. To treat my cancer symptoms. People like George who goes around judging people and treating people like they are beneath him is the problem. He has no right to treat customers in this manner and this problem needs to be addressed.Please reach out to me to settle this properly.Original Review posted:The first time I had an oil change, George asked me to leave him a review. I forgot. I came in for my car inspection the next time and he proceeded to verbally abuse me from the moment I walked in. I felt very uncomfortable when he guilt trip me for not leaving a review. He told me to pull my car up. I pulled my car up. And then he yelled at me for moving my own car. He said I shouldn't be in the area and directed me to stand outside the shop, under the sun and wait for him. I am standing there, not sure how long he wants me to stand there. 100% felt like he was taking his anger out on me every chance he got. He finally directs me to go stand inside. I have never seen someone so happy to tell me I failed my car inspection. The continual abusive treatment I received from George from my visit was building up into a full-blown panic attack. PTSD flashbacks. George's co-worker noticed me hyperventilating and stepped in. He saved me. He told me to leave. Go away. I drove off. Their crew and team do great work but customer service and professionalism on George's part is abusive and toxic.

I was looking for an inspection place near by my location at the moment and I found them on Google Maps and based on their Reviews I decided to go there. The Google Reviews did not lie. They are really friendly and their dog Zoey is such a good girl. This location will be my "go to" for inspections and oil changes from now on. First time there and I already know all their names. Pretty nice guys. I really recommend this place. Excellent customer service. Really knowledgeable and fair pricing. Thanks again George, Joel and Ted!

I gotta say these guys are fast and efficient. They diagnosed, replaced, and got everything up to par. They treated my vehicle with the utmost care and had the greatest of attitudes.They replaced my entire a/c system and now Thanks to you guys at SMG Auto Service my air conditioner is blowing colder than ever.Thank you for your services!

I WILL NEVER VISIT ANOTHER MACHANIC SHOP SINCE THE FIRST DAY MY MOM AND I WALKED IN WE WERE TREATED LIKE FAMILY AND WAS ABLE TO GET DONE WHAT I NEEDED TO ON MY VEHICLE VERY WELCOMING GEORGE AND JOE GAVE ME THE REAL DIDNT CUT ANY CORNERS KEPT THEIR WORD ON EVERYTHING THEY SAID I WOULDNT TRUST ANYONE WITH MY VEHICLE OTHER THEN THEM ! Drove from Ca to TX to visit my brother, car was having issues. Got recommended to this mechanic and they were able to fix the problem in about a day. No need to go to other places in the future, this shop will go out their way to help a satisfied customer.
