After a 30 second discussion, I decided to take my business elsewhere. If you re looking for somebody who s impolite and has an attitude problem, this is your guy!Comment on owner s reply:The owner says I didn t pay him for his work. When I got there, I politely asked if he could check the tire pressure and said I would give him a $10 gratuity. As he completed the first tire and moved to the second tire, I told him that it was not right by 4 psi (my car has a gauge on the dashboard for tire pressures which I told him I was checking) and asked him to please adjust it. His reply: Do it yourself then . Yes, after he said this, I told him to stop, not to bother and I drove off to another nearby garage that took care of it very quickly and cordially. The fact that, from his reply, he expected any money after this 30 second experience (literally 30 seconds of zero service) speaks for itself.

Don't bother calling. You'll get one word answers and no customer service at allReply to owner: that's not what you said. You just said no. There is a nice way to say sorry we are closed today and that wasn't it. Its clear you are a very rude person based on our interaction and other reviews. Be better you are in customer service

I popped in for a State Inspection today. Technician was very quick to help me, friendly and professional. I was in and out of the shop in no time with the right paperwork and instructions on where I could get my registration sticker quickly (nearby Kroger). Would definitely come here again.

The guy who took care of my car was very dry and in a sense rude. He asked me for my car key and told him that as long as I was close to the car, the car should have started. I asked him to be nicer and snapped at me He threaten to stop the inspection and send me on my way.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Silber Auto on Silber Rd in front of Walmart. They are AMAZING! I went a few weeks ago to get my oil change and they were quick and very kind! I went today to get my inspection and Paul was so sweet! He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and even gave me recommendations on things that might give me issues in the future but didn t push to get it done right then and there like other places would have done which I appreciated! Their customer service is awesome! I would definitely recommend them if you are in the area and need a honest place for oil change, inspection, auto repairs, and they even do hand car wash and detailing! New owner is a great guy, I like him just as much as the old guy. Very fair prices. Honest, always does a perfect job, fast and friendly. Really knows his stuff. I have used them for 10 years and I have always been happy with the work.

My late husband took care of our vehicles but I now have too. I was referred to Gene about 5 years ago. He is very fair in pricing and treats me with respect. Patrick is very good at explaining to me what my car needs to be repaired. So for all the single women out there this the place where you will not be taken advantage of.

answered the phone 5 mins before they opened, which was nice because i broke down and needed help quickly. their suggestion for a tow company was a good one. they were up front and honest about the pricing and did a bit of extra diagnosis and check-up because the repair wound up being a quick one.

Changed my battery on my Mercedes. Gave me the best quote of 4 places that I Contacted in the area and they did my inspection. They were laid back and easy. So far all is well a week later! No frills here but nice on the wallet. Recommended

This was a horrible service from Hell. This owner Gene, who I talked to several times said he would take care of us. He charged us way to much for an oil change, $100. Him & his Car wash guy lied to us about the cost. Mike the car wash guy told me $60.00. I said that's good, our other RV guy cost $60.00. 30ft x $2.00. This Gene guy had $125.00 for car wash on the ticket, then tried to tell us oh, it's $165.00 for wash. Then, he tried to tell us our Privately owned Class CRV was a Commercial Vehicle, & he was doing us a favor, & it should be cost for commercial Truck. I caught him in 3 lies. Stay away from this business. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

Gene is a great guy and always upfront about cost and what is necessary and what can wait. The prices are almost half of other shops, but the quality of work is still high. He has been serving the residents of Afton Village for a very long time.

WONDERFUL. Highly Recommend! Reasonable and Honest guy!I wanted to change all 4 tail light covers (which got damaged in hail) on my Toyota Rav 4. I bought the parts online. I called so many places including the toyota dealership who wanted $350 plus tax to put it on. The cheapest local store was at $165.Gene only charged me $65. Unbelievable! And he finished it the same day too.This is my new auto mechanic! Very happy to have found Mr Gene!Thank you!

New owner, went for an oil change. He did a multi-check inspection on my car too. Now a days who does that, unless you ask? Was very please with his service.

Brought a 63 Chevy Corvair up there and tested both Gene and Patrick's wit, experience and knowledge of cars.... This 57 year old car has no plug in "cheat" diagnostic code tester so you MUST do things like listen, pull out wires, run manual self diagnostic, etc.....These guys were initially flustered but never gave up.A job well done! I am not only forever grateful for bringing my 57 years old Classic back! They have gained an new loyal customer and referral source.Service: Electrical repair

Nice place to repair vehicle but abit costly. Easy to view from street view. Had abit of a wait before we were serviced. Normal pricing for vehicle maintenance. An average mechanic shop.

Great shop with a convenient location and the cheapest prices in H-town. I'm very glad to have found this gem after many years of getting charged 2X at other mechanics and dealerships. Owner Gene is super friendly and helpful.

I was there for state inspection. The staff was friendly and reasonable. Even did a quick diagnosis for me for some small concerns I had. I would recommend it to anyone in the general area.

Highly recommended! I've been in this shop for state inspection, lights and radiator issues, and I've always had an excellent service plus prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back!

Pricing is wonderful. Got my car inspection very quick here, hardly any wait time! Only reason i give it 4 stars is because the only person there didn't speak English so i could not really communicate with anyone to ask any questions i had about another issue with my car.
