Edit : Things have improved and the service was good during the vehicle delivery process. Leaving the old comments for transparency.The 2 star is more for the customer experience than for the Rivian technology and the vehicle.The test drive was decent and a good vehicle (R1T).The bad part is they didn't have any R1S model to showcase even though that's what the customer booked and waiting for delivery.

We understand Rivian is struggling to service a large quantity of vehicles due to its relatively small group of service centers, especially in this area. However, this specific service center in Houston has been, by far, the best service experience I have ever had.Long story short: My vehicle needed to stay in the center as new parts to repair it were on the way. Since I live 4 hours away, they basically brought the car to me so that I wouldn't have to drive 8 hours in total.Having had my vehicle serviced at the Dallas center many times before (because they would never fix the one thing I would bring it for), I can attest to the fact that I will gladly drive all the way to Houston if I ever need my vehicle serviced again.Habram, the manager, runs a great facility.

Great experience during my demo drive earlier this year. Staff was very friendly even though they were busy with others also completing their appointments. Didn t feel rushed at all. All smiles! I can t wait to pick up my Rivian R1S very soon.

I had a rattle noise in my R1S. Dropped my car off at 8 am and had a loaner vehicle immediately. Problem got fixed within a day. Nothing but positive things to say about this service center. Everyone was super helpful and nice.

Houston Rivian Service CenterI want to give a shout out to the Houston service center for some amazing work. Thank you Abram the service manager and Hector the service rep!I came in with a bad air compressor, and the ride height was stuck at the lowest setting. We were in town for medical treatment and only had 24 hours. My hope was to drop the Rivian off so they could just do a diagnostic and then get it repaired when we had more time in Austin.The team was able to accommodate us with both a loaner and to get the diagnostic done and discovered the problem was a bad temperature sensor on the ride height compressor. They had us out the door by 3 o'clock the next day!

Customer parking is at a premium, but the same is true of other car dealers. It is really just (big) repair shop with a nice waiting lobby. Test drives are by appointment only. The staff is very friendly.

Not sure why someone else left a bad review on here for a R1S not being available to test drive. The R1T and R1S are practically the same exact vehicle besides the third row or truck bed. Also they now have a R1S the test drive!Besides that I want to talk about my service today One thing I found quite amazing is that I was able to make my appointment for today only 2 days ago. Rivian center in Richmond, VA was scheduling almost a month out. Not only was the center beautiful inside and out, the people who work there are truly amazing. My experience at Tesla has been completely the opposite, rude uninformed employees and gross waiting rooms. Employees at the Rivian service center actually showed interested in getting to know customers and learning about their experiences with the car. I can t say enough great things about this place and the people who work there!
