Reliable Autos is state vehicle inspection, car repair, and maintenance shop in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas. When I arrived, the technicians in the garage didn't speak English, but they pointed for me to go into their shop to speak to the front desk for any services I needed. After checking in, I gave them my insurance information and handed them the key.+State Vehicle Inspection for $25.50 - This was completed in under 10-minutes. If you use a credit card, they may charge $2 extra, so use cash. If you bundle this service with something else like an oil change, they will eliminate this extra charge if you use a credit card. - 5/5+Synthetic Oil Change for $64.90 - This was completed in under 25-minutes. - 5/5Overall, I was very happy with the service I received. It was quick, easy, and they had fair prices. There are negative reviews about their service, but this could possibly be cultural differences. This place seems to be run by owners from a Muslim country as there are Qur'an religious texts with their magazines in the waiting area. Focus on just the quick turnaround and price, and I promise you that you will be happy!

Took my new car for an inspection here and had a great experience. The owner, Ali, took me in the bay and showed me everything they looked for. He was extremely thorough, friendly, and efficient! I highly recommend!

Why, why, why??? I told myself I would never come back and guess what? Googled for inspection sticker and got directed here again. I thought what the hell, I am here I will get it done. Same grouchy guy yelling at me. Last time I thought I just caught him on a bad day. Now I can tell you for certain this guy isn't nice. No smiles, yelling constantly. Shouting demands. Run! They make getting an inspection sticker very unpleasant. Send this guy to a customer service bootcamp and teach him to be kind.

Scam will lie and try to up prices and take your money!! Worst place to go. Recommend any place but here, don't waste your time or money!! Rude and crooks!!

I only picked up a U-Haul trailer from here. I did almost everything online. I went in a nice older lady. printed the contract I signed showed my Id found my trailer, hooked it up, did a pre-trip inspection. And out the gate I went.

I've come to Reliable Auto's a few times prior to rent a UHAUL and also pick up a Turo rental since I live fairly close. I saw they had done all the maintenance on the Turo rental themselves and thought I should come back for my own car's routine maintence.I stopped by Monday (9/25) for a synthetic oil change. I pulled up to the garage, walked in and was greeted by the folks working the front. I asked if they could provide the service I was looking for and they confirmed they do all typical car maintenance (something I was not aware of). They got me in and out quickly and I also managed to get my state inspection on the fly. Paid a fair price for everything and I was on my way.This will become my one stop shop for most of my car maintenace needs. Good people and a fair price.

If I could give this place a million out of 10 I would. Nicest folks in the world. Accidentally charged us $20 extra and had the decency to go grab the money and give it back without us asking. LOVE this place. Definitely check it out!!!!

This is no appointment needed place. Good for walk-ins for annual vehicle inspection.They inspect super fast, got it done in 10 mins.The biggest problem is you have to park your car on a narrow and busy street. I parked in front of their garage and they immediately made me move and park it at the end of the street.Also, they printed the vin number wrong on the receipt.

Folks here are very honest, nice, and do all kinds of repairs. I've had inspections, oil changes, removal of rusted parts, and an alignment that fixed my wheel shaking at high speed. Recommend highly!

Been taking my vehicles here for years. Started out with just inspections and oil changes but they became my go to for everything auto related. Fair prices, good communication, and most importantly, honesty. I ve always gotten honest feedback about what my issue is or could be. Highly recommend them

Went here to try and catch the last day of the month before my inspection expires after work and they told me my 25 percent window tint was too dark. The same 25 percent that Ive gotten to pass at three other places in years prior. I wiped my window and asked the guy to check again and he just tells me "it's too dark, can't pass" without checking.

This place is great, an adorable family business that gives the best service to their clients. It was super quick, super easy, and very affordable. Been going to this place for years to get my car inspected. All of a sudden today, after successfully passing my inspection for 5 years there, the tint on my windows was too dark to pass inspection. Gtfoh.

I would say it is really a Reliable thanks for honest inspection i was told form honda delaer to change this that etc when i came here it actually didn t needed that much.. the guys here are very honestThanks for service and pleased to see allmparts come with warranty

Friendly, quick, efficient. Didn't try any hard upsell and didn't come back telling me that my blinker fluid was low or that I needed 5 new tires. Was done in under 30 minutes, and stopped by the local taco truck for some delicious street tacos. Win win!

Quick and very friendly people. Reliable even gave me notice that my brake pads are wearing thin. He was not a pushy salesman like most shops in town, but provided information on brake pad/labor cost and availability for my vehicle. I would recommend Reliable to my family and friends for their service and honesty.

I've been getting my car inspected here for a few years. They are very nice, incredibly fast, and have never tried to sell me anything beyond the inspection. There can be a short wait during busy times but generally it's very quick.

Awesome service! Needed our rim replaced because another mechanic installed the wrong one. Manager was supervising the whole time and communicating well and gave us a good price. Will be back!

Went here for a state inspection and it was very fast and efficient. Only took around 30 minutes and was $27. Bring cash to avoid the $2 credit card charge but even still, that's not that bad! Staff was very friendly. I'll return for sure!

Good Honest Muslim family owned businessI wrecked my Audi a while back and bought the parts to change the damaged areahe did like 70% of the work to get car running again and only charged me for oil change (and oil) qnd referred me to his formed employee a Mexican young man that did the rest of the work for just under 3000. mind you car was basically totalled.When I asked why the owner of this business didn't charge me he said welcome to Houston and he understood young guys fast cars mistakes happen.I was very humbled that I found a good honest mechanic.
