The worst place to get your car repaired! Took three of our cars there and for each of them we had to go back and have them address the problem and more charges we had to pay.

Friendly staff, amazing service!The prices are incredibly fair and they work incredibly fast. We have taken both of our vehicles here when needed and have never been surprised or disappointed!

Take it from me, a guy who had to rebuilt his own engine in my garage, I Do recommend this shop and will use again if the need arises. At 500 miles after the rebuild I needed to do a oil change but also wanted to get a alignment done. Not have a laser alignment machine I laying around my garage I called Ray s. They took care of both. Dropped my truck off at Saturday when they opened at 8 am and they had it done before noon. They were the cheapest I found after calling 10 other shops and they knew exactly what I wanted because they are real mechanic and not just oil changing monkeys. Only small problem was they could not print out the alignment report because they had not fixed the printer on there alignment machine.

This is how my truck was left after i had them fix it. Had to have it towed to another shop and get work vompleted there. Would not recomend thete service....

I had great experiences at this shop. My grandfather has been doing business with Fred for many many years and has never been disappointed. I brought my truck to Fred for weird grinding noises coming from the front brakes. He had his guys take a look at it, they diagnosed the problem and had it fixed. I had my truck back the next day and paid less than HALF of what Firestone tried offering me. Many thanks to Fred and all the guys up at the shop. I will be returning for many more years to come.Service: Brakes

Curtis will always shoot straight with you and treat you fairly. It's rare to trust your mechanic this much, but every time I have been to Ray Blackburn Auto they have been professional, direct, and honest. I have had them do multiple repairs on my older vehicle, and every time they do, they resolve the issue entirely. Highly recommend.

Ask for Fred!!! He and his family use to run a family garage for 50 years at Shell on 1960. Sooo, Fred definitely knows his way around cars. Great customer service, fair prices, and peace of mind when the job is done!

Update july 2022: a blackburn rep (with last name of blackburn called and left vm but my calls to him go unanswered. Hoped someone eould apologize and offer some kind of help but no, they're not that interested in their F up. Update 9/5/22: trying again to sell hyundai but since SO many parts were stolen (not returned by Ray Blackburn Automotive) price has dropped from $4,000 to $500. AND, when I went to pick up items left in car and extra key, my extra key fob to my 2018 Acura MDX that wad on my daughter's hyundai key chain wa missing. I called the shop again and talked to curtis. He said they did not have it and there was no reason to take it off. I agree but once again. I received absolutely NO apogy for ANYTHING THEY DID OO DID NOT DO! Is this is they should treat a customer? Sgain, is it because I'm a single female with no man behind me?I'm sure a man would have received an apology.Beware of Ray Blackburn automotive. ASK questions about security. Took daughters hyundai there in late April. Told me it needed a new engine. No problem, had extended warranty and they said it was covered. Turns out warranty Co could not locate an engine. Fred wS good [for a while] keeping me informed. In June I called warranty Co snd they said they told shop claim was suspended cause no engine was found. I paid the $250-280 fee to Blackburn for diagnostic fee & arranged to have car towed to another mechanic. Blackburn did NOT send all the parts, AND the catalytic converter had been stolen at Blackburn's! I made several calls to Fred about missing parts but he didn't seem concerned, contrite OR apologetic. Have NOT heard back from them. New mechanic can't put car together without missing parts or converter and isn't sure the problem was the engine needed replacing! I had an expectation that car was secure at their shop; why else would they have a fence behind the shop? Now seeking advice from an atty re their liability but especially pi$$Ed that they took no responsibility and NEVER apologized! Had planned to take my Acura there for oil change but I wouldn't take a push scooter there if that's how they treat their customers. So, before you leave a vehicle with them, talk about their integrity and security!!

I have been going To bBack Burns over 20 years. The people we bought the house from reccomended them! Curtis is a doll. Andy is the bomb! They treat you like family. They stay busy please call ahead. I love this place!They do all kinds of car related issues. There were more boxes to check. I only checked some. I use the Theall location. They have added another location. Theall is closest to me.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Transmission replacement, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto brake replacement

My family has been going to this shop for 20 years. This is the only shop that I feel comfortable going to alone as a woman because they are respectful and do not try to upsell me or come up with fake problems I need solved. When I have a problem they can't solve (like having my manual transmission replaced) they have quality recommendations on where to send me. My Toyota camery has 280,000 miles on it in part because camerys never die and in part because she has recieved good care. Wouldn't take her anywhere else.

Very honest. Very knowledgeable. Very reliable. A little bit more expensive than say Pep Boys or an independent mom and pop type repair shop. But you're going to get it done correctly the first time. I've only had to return to them once about 9 months after a repair was made. They covered it under warranty and I wasn't charged a second time. No argument, no hassle. I recommend them highly.

I have taken all of my cars to Blackburn's. I have recommended these folks to others as well.Curtis and Andy are honest, hardworking folks. They understand that we need our cars fixed and not take forever (like a dealer often does). Pricing is competitive as well. I will continue to recommend them to others.

I have use Ray's many many times. I have taken my vehicles here thinking something was wrong and going to be expensive to have them call me and say nothing is wrong or just a minor adjustment. These guys are honest which goes a long way in my book. I recommend them to everyone I know. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else. They have a great reputation with all of my neighbors as well. Hands down - this is the place to go for car repairs.

My family and I have been taking our cars here since the mid 90s. The staff is knowledgeable, fair, and honest.They were great about finding a more affordable, used engine for my dad. Last time I went in was right before Thanksgiving. They made an extra effort to get the parts I needed and get me back on the road in time to visit family.

Well lit. Easily accessible location. Fast service. I Took my 2000 Buick here twice. Both times I left extremely satisfied. I moved from Michigan and was looking for a trustworthy shop. Both times I dropped my car off at night and put my keys in the drop box. Both times they called in the afternoon and said it's ready. Car drives like a Buick again. First time was ac, second was motor mounts and sway bar links. Great service at fair price.

As my friend and long time customer of Blackburn's suggested, I started taking trucks and cars to them a few months ago.... Blackburn's is always fair, polite, and offers sound advice. And they are clear in what they will do (most all repair work I requested) and quick to refer me to reputable alternates when needed (like body repair). I will recommend them to everyone.

We have been taking our cars here for 30 years and these people really are THE BEST. We bring cars here that we own and also cars that we consider buying, to get checked out. They are honest and will tell you what you need... and just as importantly, what you don't need. Pleasant, courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable people who talk to you like you're a friend. Highly recommend them!

It is really difficult to find a mechanic that I trust. I know a few things about cars but not always enough to know when I am being taken for a ride. But with these guys I feel totally confident that they are being honest with me. Every time I take my car in for any problem that I swear sounds or feels expensive its never as bad as I think. Sometimes that can just be luck but I think they really try to do right by their customers. They always do a really good job of explaining what's wrong so I understand. I already am and will continue to be a return customer. Not to mention the fact that I always suggest them if a friend has car trouble.

This shop is the best! Hands down. I have brought my vehicle here multiple times. Good work is not cheap - if something is broken on your out-of-warranty vehicle and it needs fixing, and you can't do it yourself, then you are going to have to pay someone to do it for you. In that case I would recommend Ray Blackburns. They'll do a great job at an honest price. What they won't do (which I have run into at other places) is come up with all kinds of other things that suddenly need fixing and nickel and dime you to death. They fix it, they fix it right, they fix it on time, and there won't be any surprises on the bill. You can't beat that.

Hands down the best mechanics I've ever gone to! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and rather affordable compared to the chain mechanics (Firestone, Goodyear, etc.)! I was able to bring in my own downstream O2 sensor and they had no problem replacing it in my car. I will definitely be taking my car here from now on!

I have been taking my cars (and grandkids cars) to Blackburn's repair shop for many many years! They are without a doubt the most honest group of people I have ever dealt with. I appreciate the fact that they don't take advantage of any situations that might arise with the fixing of a car and I have never felt like they didn't value my patronage no matter how big or small the repair. It's really helpful to know that I have someone on which to rely when car problems arise! I would recommend their auto service to anyone looking for a honest job to be done.

I ve had my share of bad customer service, but Curtis topped it all!!!! I dropped my car off 8/13 at the end of the day for a water pump replacement, that way my travel arrangements were set in place accordingly. I was TOLD and reassured, that I d be able to pick my car up by the end of the day 8/14. I called 8/14 to follow up at 11:06, and was told that they were backed up, and l haven t gotten to my car yet. He called back 45 minutes later to explain that some additional services needed to be performed to avoid any major issues with the motor in the near future, which made sense. He called back a little after noon stating that one of his mechanics was headed back in from lunch, and that they will have my vehicle ready to be picked up at the end of the day. I called at 3:46 to see how long before I could head that way and was told that they ordered a wrong part that was on its way, and that it won t be ready for pickup until 8/15. I m frustrated at this point, because I arranged my entire day based on what I was TOLD.. In somebody else s car that I needed to return, and a trip that had already been paid for and I explained to him that 8/15 just doesn t work. He did state that he will try and do his best with getting it do by the end of the day. I called back letting him know that I was headed to pick my car up and that I would go another way at a later date, which at that point he instantly became furious stating that they had already removed the parts, and that I would not be able to drive the car. We spent 3 minutes arguing and going back and forth with me explaining my situation that he was ALREADY aware of, how this was such an inconvenience, reiterating that I m without a car and that I need to return the persons car that I had, and plans that have already been made based on what I WAS TOLD, and that had I known additional time was needed, I would ve prepared for that. I dropped my car off the day before not thinking about any of this!!! He never once apologized for his mistakes.. He never even made the attempt to try and make it right instead, he was rude and inconsiderate.... And all because of that you lost a customer, which probably means nothing to you at all. I d much rather pay more money for a piece of mind any day, before I spend a penny dealing with this level of customer service!!!!!!!!

I have been going to this family run business for 25 years- and can say I trust them completely. Always fair, always fast and responsive. Recently, I had a repair done that cost less than 1/3 of what the dealer quoted for the same thing. I highly recommend this business!

Took my truck in twice for repairs, once for a AC problem and the other for brake issue. Both times I was happily surprised at the final cost!Honest and only fixes what need to be fixed, will be using them for repairs I cannot do myself.

Everyone there is great. They are honest, fair, friendly and nice. We moved here in 1986 and tried several different places. Once we tried Ray Blackburn's we were completely happy with their service and have gone there ever since. I highly recommend them!
