New system for paying zero stars. Tires on the rack not identified for rim size, customer forced to look at all tires. Great selection, Poor customer service at checkout. I am 1/3 into the pay line, about 20 behind me

Wow. Been coming here for 15 years off and on. After today, never again. Spent 15 mins taking off a 12 year old transmission cooler line just to be told it would cost $55, so I left it in a bin under the check out stand along with all the other parts no one else could afford and abandoned. They tried to charge $80 to a guy in front of me for a brake pedal, so he left it in the bin and left. A junkyard selling USED parts for more than the dealer for new. Unbelievable. I got the same cooler line at Houston Auto Recyclers for $9. I can't believe the prices now. Drop the crack pipe.

I used to come here as a kid wwwaaaayyyy before LKQ bought them and the prices were junkyard prices. Now this place charges dealership pricing for used junk. Sad

BUYER BEWARE! I recently went to the Northville location and paid the $5 entry fee (up from $3) and pulled my part, a Hitachi MAF Sensor from a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Without warranty, my part cost me $42.03 plus $5 entry for a grand total of $47.03 out of my wallet. Problem is that Rock Auto sells the exact same brand new OEM Hitachi MAF0103 for $60.73 with tax and shipping, so that LKQ sold me an 18 year old used part for nearly the same cost (78%) as for a new part. Now while I enjoy poking around at the junkyard, I would guess that most customers go to LKQ hoping to SAVE MONEY on car parts and that was clearly not my experience. Please take my advice and be aware what a NEW part costs so that you don't get taken advantage of when buying used....

Literally a rip off you can buy most things from here online for literally half the price The only thing that you should be going here for is injectors and ignition coils anything else you're going to get bent over no lube and if you don't know exactly what you are buying they will figure out the most expensive thing that you have you need to look on their website find their prices first and then when you go to check out tell them exactly what it is otherwise they will find some way to bend you over do not recommend for novices

Google your part before yu visit here.. Prices are waaaay too high for a pull a part . For the price they charge, you can get a new one that you know for sure works. I really was a waste of time.. I m bringing my part back today and just ordering a new one.

Online website shows 13 available vehicles. However, when I went to the location, none of the vehicles were there. Worker said he wasn't responsible for updating the web page. Also, no one answers the phone. Could have saved myself a trip.

I was given a price over the phone and when I arrived. I took the part off myself went to the front with my dolly and part. The man was charging me 480 for the part. I explained that I had called before coming and was told differently then the guy said well you want the part or not. This place is not like it used to be they rip you off after all the hard work you do to get the part off yourself. I do not recommend LKQ they have horrible service. Houston Auto Recyclers off of 249 is way better and they have awesome prices with great service highly recommended.

They usually have almost any part you want but they have a habit of giving you the wrong price on the phone went yesterday for a brake caliper they told me $25 with my core when I got there it was $45 wasn't a problem still cheaper than anyone else

This IS the worst LKQ location in Houston. Enter at your OWN RISK - not worth the entrance fee-There is literally feces between the cars, the aisles are not cleared (like the other Houston locations), not a single employee in sight, poorly maintained, the inventory on their website does not match the cars that are in the yard currently. The Map is irrelevant as well because nothing is where it s supposed to be. Only positive thing I can see about the location is the Used Batteries are very well organized. I would try Wallisville or Hiram Clarke before coming here- The Northville location is not even close to the standards I know LKQ has. If I could give 0 stars I would. Disappointing.

I've been coming here for awhile but they are not charging what their website says. I tried to get a dual radiator fan and they told me $70 but on line it says $35. That happened in the late model windows on 1/19/2030. With the girl on the window on the Right. The girl with the glasses always does it right.

Prices have trippled in 5 yrs. Most employees are pretty disgruntled and its actually become cheaper to buy most stuff off ebay or amazon. Its still a good place to learn how to remove parts before actually taking them off your car though.

Most inexpensive way to replace parts on your vehicle. Online and app, you can search year, make and model and see what location has the vehicle and the space it is located in. The date it went into yard and the vin #. This helps you narrow down and decode the parts you need. Do it right and you'll be in and out plus save $

Prices are way overpriced, wanted 150+ for a small climate control bezel on a 28 year old car. Definitely not worth the time, gas and money. I would highly recommend ordering online then dealing with LKQ

$101 for a scratched up aluminum rim and tire, the only people that will help you out are your fellow mechanics who are grabbing their stuff. You re kind of on your own and on my way out the guy made me walk the tire back and then said never mind cause I had already got it marked on the way out. Sloppy bad service, but at least it works. They even gave me a warranty if it didn t work I could return it, but looking at my bill it looks like they overcharged me for it. I ll probably just go to a salvage yard next time though, less of a head ache.

It's a pick a part priced somewhat reasonably on certain items. If you have the convenience of waiting a few days for shipping you can probably find better deals on some items. Unfortunately I couldn't wait my transfer case went out. They wanted 273 which includes the core charge. On line found it for 180 including shipping and a 1 yr warranty but couldn't wait the 10 days for shipping. They had several options but some cars had standing water under them and it hasn't rained in several days which is why I only left a 4

Don't waste your time. Just go online and find a used part. When you get to the counter the people at the window don't know what part you're holding so they will just randomly pick a part and then argue with you about what it is that you're holding and charge you four or five times what their website says the part costs even if you show them their own website.

THEY BUY STOLEN CARS! THEY BUY STOLEN CAR! STOLEN CARS THEY BUY!If I can give zero stars, I would. My car was stolen yesterday and sold to LKQ with a fake bill of sale, and with the awesome technology we have today, I tracked it straight here. They said it was here for two days but tagged 1/6/23 They said as of yesterday it wasn t reported stolen, which tells me they buy stolen cars frequently if they have to check if it was stolen. So this is how you all stay in business selling parts by buying stolen cars? A joke. Currently waiting on HPD slow a** to come so I can retrieve my car as the rightful owner. Count your days LKQ.

Had the worst experience ever in a pick a part, came to take a intake manifold flap actuator, basically a little motor to open and close the flap, they charged me $42 dollars for it, $24 for the part(very expensive) more warranty and everything, said to the laid that I don't want the warranty, and she said I haven't that option, I had to pay the warranty doesn't matter if I want or no, and when I asked about the price of the part they just said "you want the part or no?if no just go away", that part in the dealership are $30 new, I tried to explain they're charging for air idle actuator and the part aren't it and they don't care, probably first and last time here, unfortunately because I saw there a lot of parts I need.
