They really toke their time on my car. The price is worth the time. Customer service is on point. They recommend and educated me about my car and what is needed. I will definitely be back. My car is running smooth.

You guys just lost my business. I had an appointment at 6:30pm to replace all my tires and do an alignment, but it didn t get done because I was 10 minutes late. There was nobody there, one guy was working in the shop and two guys were just sitting down. They wanted to reschedule because there was not enough time. According to the hours of operation they close till 8pm. I will try NTB and see if I have better luck.

Extra 1star for Josh! Worst experience in my live! They are very disrespectful, I called before arriving and they said it would take a maximum of 1 hour. When I arrive, they tell me that they haven't even seen the car yet after 50 minutes of waiting, but I came here with an appointment! Don't come here

Came in for an oil change. White dude (poor demeanor) said a 1:30 hrs wait, i was ok with it. As he proceeded to enter my info, he seemed like he did not want to work there. Did not give me a quote or tell me how much it is going to cost. I asked, he said $120 for a regular oil change. Price was secondary, but what put me off was the person (Rip off person). Talking with him I decided then and there, i did not want them anywhere near my car. So, I left.

I recently went to get a maintenance check and oil change on my Mitsubishi Outlander. My niece and I were immediately greeted and assisted by J.D. After the service was completed, Justin assisted with my coupon that refused to scan. Both men were very polite and attentive. We appreciate them making our wait time a pleasant experience.

Went in the morning (03/05/2024) to confirm about my appointment which was at noon. Got an estimate from them.Later when I went with the car for the services I was given an another estimate and I said okay just get it done as I dint want to argue and waste more time. Was told the car would be ready in about 2 hours.So I waited around waiting on the car to get serviced but I lost my mind when I went to pick up my car as per the time I was told, the car service was not even started. Basically I wasted more then 2 hours and also my car could not be serviced.Disgusted with the quality of customer service offered.

I made an appointment at 2:30 PM to have four tires installed, balanced, and my truck aligned. I was told it would take an hour and a half, which I thought was reasonable, so I decided to wait in the store. If I could express how frustrated I am with their customer service and their lack of communication, I would write about 10 paragraphs. I can't believe I spent 5 hours in the waiting room for something that was supposed to take only 1.5 hours. It was a terrible experience.

Best PEP BOYS in HOUSTON!!! Excellent customer service. Very clean establishment! A1 service! Justin helped me out the first time withOil change. Wonderful customer service, which made me come back to the same location again. Second experience was awesome as well! Manager JD was very helpful and patient with oil change and alignment!Thank you so much! Really appreciate everything!! Will be back soon!

Worst place to get your car fixed.... well, that's if they can even do it correctly. You are told one thing needs to be fixed, and then they add more things after you agree. Everytime I go into there, someone is always arguing with the manager about the work they do. From my experience and the experiences I've seen from others, the manager loves to manipulate and only tell half truth about the work he does.Avoid spending hundreds to thousands of dollars to someone who just wants to suck money out of you!!!! It's not worth them overcharging you!!!!!!

Horrible place, horrible people. I do not recommend especially women! Justin is a piece of work. Rude! Customer service is absolutely non existent. The manager encourages poor treatment to customers. The only people decent are the techs I think because they know those guys are full of it! Only stuck using them because we pay for a warranty but I m DONE!! I d rather pay out of pocket twice than fool with them. Beware & you ve been warned!

Had an appointment for a steering and suspension evaluation at 2pm. Was supposed to take less than 30 minutes to do. It has been two hours and I am still waiting. A guy in the lobby was here even longer than me for an oil change and there is no reason an oil change should take over 2 hours. Not sure what is going on to cause this kind of backlog but corporate needs to help set some better policies and support the few technicians they have at this location . No one wants to wait hours for basic work. It is okay to turn customers away especially if you are understaffed and have a long backlog. Corporate needs to help improve the customer experience at this location.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I went back in December to do a complete check on my suspension because it had a wobbling sound, after inspecting it they said all of my motor mounts had to be replaced, they did, after that it started to make a horrible vibration noise, and to top it off the wobbling sound that i had initially taken it for was still there!! They did NOT fix it!! ANDDD they misplaced the splash guard that goes under the engine. They gave me back my vehicle worse and with a missing part! They literally have been making excuses ever since about giving me a new one back, i called several times and even went in person and no one seems to know anything!! until this day i have NOT heard back from them. Do NOT bring your vehicles here, they re NOT PROFESSIONALS!!!

I ordered some tires for my truck. The website only let me order smaller tires than I wanted. I looked at them before they installed and they looked okay so I went ahead and had them installed. Once the tires were on I knew that I didn t like the way they looked on the truck. Too small. I thought they d grow on me but after a day of looking at them, I knew I regretted my decision. Thankfully PepBoys has a 30day ride happy guarantee. I took it in and the guys at the front desk were very helpful and proceeded to honor the guarantee. They both worked hard in trying to figure out how to honor the guarantee and after some time, they were able to figure out the credit situation and now I have the tires I wanted!! I absolutely LOVE! the way the new tires look on the truck and I m very happy with my purchase. Thanks again guys! You made my day better!!

I came by this location today 2.7.24 around 8AM as I heard "scratching" under my Mercedez. Turns out when I pulled out of my garage it scarped the bottom of the protective covering and it was hanging. The guy at the front desk came out , looked under my car, took pictures for me to have a visual and advised me on the issue. He did advise me that it wont harm the car but it does protect the fixtures under it. The tech that worked on my car was super detailed and tried his best to screw the cover back on. I sincerely appreciate their thoroughness , honesty, and being super detailed. WONDERFUL team!Best,Tiffny

I went to get my tires replaced and asked for fatter tires. They took their time, went through a few sets to see which ones fit and looked better. They were very honest, formal, and took good care of me and my truck. DEFINITELY became my tire spot. Highly recommend

I scheduled an appointment for cooling system flush. Upon arrival the desk person told me "I have only one mechanic, I have many cars already". If you know in advance you can't take any additional work, why make people waste time and money? You enjoy see our frustration face to face? Should have called me and cancel the appointment. I did an effort asking for permission at work just be ignored by PepBoys. Bad service.

I went because of a problem I have with my car and the guy named Justin treats the customers badly because since my car is under warranty and they have a contract with the insurance company, Justin doesn't want to work and treats customers like me badly. I'm very angry about how he treated me and how he told the insurance company that he doesn't want to waste his time with me. I hope some manager reads this and takes action because Justin can't continue treating clients so badly and not want to do his job

It all boils down to you get what you pay for, if you try and skimp out on a good quality service especially on something that you're putting your life and/or others. you want to make sure that every health and safety measure is in order, making it worth every penny.especially when it comes to having warranty just in case

Been here few time's. Amazing service friendly. Will show pictures of issue and willing to explain it to costumer. I everyone want things now but I like they take there time to make everything working great. You don't want anyone to rush fixing your breaks

I had the worst experience with the 7525 SW Freeway store. They lied to me so many times and ignored my phone calls, I had to call from different numbers to get them on the phone. Once the job was finally finished, a few days later, a oil light came on and said to check at next fill up. I took it in and they checked it. They told me to sit inside, but something told me to go outside. Low and behold, the guys was putting oil in my car. I asked why, when you did a full oil change a week or two ago. The assistant manager lied and said they didn't put oil in the car, I said yes you did, and showed him the picture I had just took. He called the guy over and asked him and he said yes I put oil in the car. So, I'm needing to speak to Corporate, because if something happens to my car, Lord knows. Please reach out to me someone in Corporate. Guys please don't take your car here. Think twice please.

Back in June 2023 I went there for my HVAC system check since it was not working (or the AC is running but blowing just hot air). They did some initial checks for free but estimated a hefty $1960 to repair (basically they said, my entire compressor needs to be replaced).I went to another store (not pep boys) for a second opinion. They said, it is very likely that the air filter is clogged. They changed the air filter but it turned out one of my fans were not working too. The whole repair coat was $450 all together.Yup , Thanks for the free checkup, but I'd be so disappointed if I had to spend $1960 instead of just $450.

Two years ago I bought a lifetime alignment. I misplaced the receipt and I called to see if they had me in their systems and they did. they were able to schedule me for an alignment on a Sunday. I am very happy.

I go there to get a diagnosis on why my truck is overheating. The service advisor told me everything seemed fine and my cooliant needed to be topped off so I asked if they can do a cooliant system flush. The tech that was working on my vehicle was and old damn near blind Asian guy. Towards the end of the flush the cooliant started bubbling up and splashing all over my engine bay. Nobody attempted to clean up the mess and left the cooliant bottle cap underneath my hood. So not only did they not find the issue they also did not fix the issue and in the end I ended up paying $200 for nothing. P.S that same tech hit and ran over a cone in another customer's vehicle right in front of me.

Great service...easy process. Just waited a long time..I was told 1-1.30 minutes...it took almost 4 hours for a tire change. But I was complimented with a free oil change

I wish I could give 0 stars. The service here sucks. I brought my car in and it took them 1 whole week to find the issue . My boyfriend and I called every day that week. They made no effort to call us regarding updates. I was going to take my car elsewhere after 4 days but they told me they found the problem. When I tried to pull it I called the store and they told me they put one part on it and that turned out to be a lie. Apparently they did everything and my total was 980. I paid and drove my car to the gas station for gas. When I tried to crank it it wouldn t start. I tried jumping it. Then I called pep boys and they advised me to drive it around for a bit. I tried to keep calm. I called back up there when I had tried all I could and they were very non chalant. They didnt want to give me a free tow or any reimbursement. After the tow truck driver came to assist the engine light came on which is the whole reason I brought it to this pep boys because of the engine light and it had trouble starting. Please save your time!And ladies please don t come alone. They will take advantage of you!!!
