You can text them and I always receive a quick reply with Jorge. Very quick service and they update efficiently with what is going on with your car and have it ready in a timely manner. They are also cost effective. It is always a smooth process when I come in. I also loved they are family and Christian based!

It s always hard when you have to pay for car repairs- it usually comes up at a tough time when money is right and you can t be without your vehicle. That has happened to me 2 or 3 times in the last 2 or 3 years. I ve taken my car here each time. During the last repair, we had a couple of delays in the repair- one was no one s fault and the other was just one of those things that happens sometimes. It wasn t fun being without the car or paying for the repairs, but the owner of the shop spoke did what he could to make the situation as painless as it could be. As a former business owner, I know that s the sign of a someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience.

Both my husband and I took our cars for an oil change for the first time over the past 2 weeks! Both visits Chris was super friendly and helpful! They did not try to upsell on things you didn t need, but did inform on things coming up on routine maintenance with pricing. The waiting area was clean and comfy which I appreciated. I love that this small business is family owned and it shows decent pricing and friendly service! We will be back!

Had a great experience with Jorge who called me with updates and advised on what to prioritize on my vehicle. Jorge was also willing to wait for me to pick up my vehicle after closing hours. Will highly recommend and will continue to bring my vehicles here from now on.

I'm a very satisfied customer and they will be my go to for all of my vehicle needs. Very convenient to my home (2 blocks). Very clean waiting area and bathroom and the staff are nice, friendly and they also leave you a treat in your vehicle. Thank you Open Road for the great job you guys do.

I am happy with the service that was provided. They also offer financing, in case you don t have all the money upfront. Overall, I m satisfied with all the repairs that they did to my vehicle, they also fixed one of the lights that my car was showing for awhile. Happy customer!!! I came driving 1500 miles from North Carolina, and before continuing my trip of another 1500 miles, I decided to stop at this business for an oil change, when I arrived at the place, I met a group of super friendly people, especially the worker JORGE, who He guided me to the end. During the oil change they found my brakes very low, and in less than 5 hours they managed to do all the maintenance that my brakes need. I highly recommend this place for its attention, professionalism, and efficiency.

A good mechanic shop is worth its weight in gold because it s so bloody rare. My truck decided to die on Crosstimbers and I limped it into this shop. They fixed it and discovered other problems it had (which I already knew about and was secretly hoping would go away). Communication was excellent as they told me what was necessary and what could wait. They actively tried to help mitigate cost, which is mind blowing. My truck was returned to me in short order, even though the city was freezing, and I could not recommend them any higher. I live in Spring but will be making the drive because I don t want anyone else to touch my truck, ever. Thank y all so much! You have a customer for life.

We're so glad we found Open Road Automotive. Our 2004 Vue is running so much better now that the front struts and alignment was done in one afternoon. They are very thorough when it comes to car repair and maintenance and they have a 2 year/ 24k mile warranty.

What a relief to find a car repair service where no one is trying to upsell you things you don t need. And as a single woman I appreciate how everything was explained to me but I wasn t talked down to. Everyone- from reception to mechanic was so nice!! My 7-year old car is now running great again!

This place is one of the most friendly and honest auto repair shops that I've ever been to! My check engine light turned on and it seemed like no matter what I did, it just wouldn't turn off. The team here didn't give up on trying to find the problem and had great communication with me along the way. Got me back on the road as quick as they could and for as low cost as they could! Would definitely recommend!

My experience with Houston auto auto tech was a very good one . My Ram truck was damaged in accident. The right front fender , rim , tire , all mechanical works underneath had to be replaced. All the work was done really well . My truck looks great and drives great . I would recommend them to anyone

It was a Friday, 2 pm. I'm in Houston, trying to get home an hour and a half away. My car started to die every time I came to a stop. I found OpenRoad Automotive by accident. I would definitely go back on purpose. Professional attention, Got on my car immediately, replaced the bad part on my car and I am on my way home 2 hours later. Where else could you go on a Friday afternoon and get this attention. Generally you would be held till Monday or later to get to it.

5 stars for Ernest, the mechanic. While I came in for an oil change, he took the time to show me some other issues I had on my car, but didn t try and pressure/scare/upsell me. He understood that things cost $$$, and was kind enough to mention what he would prioritize.

Absolute SCAM!!!! Y all approved me .. sent letters of approval and then you send a denial due to LTV so y all didn t see that ish before falsely approving me!!! This company needs to be shut down for being fake!!! You put a hard hit on my credit for nothing!!! I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! RUN!!! DO NOT APPLY TO THIS COMPANY!!!! This literally just happened today!!!

Car repair is never convenient, and rarely does simply changing a few parts always fix every single issue. But one of the things you can count on is that the owner, Chris, and his dedicated team will do what it takes to fix your vehicle. End of story. They do the jobs that everybody else either can't or won't do.When you bring in your vehicle, you are not just getting on technician - this shop involves all of their brightest minds to tackle the hardest jobs, including the owner who himself is an ASE certified Master Technician. It is their teamwork, dedication, and RELENTLESS perseverence and top-notch customer service that puts them at the top of the industry.This shop stands out as a diamond in the rough right down the street from Flying Saucer Pie Company and is a clean shop with an even cleaner lobby, drinks, and snacks. Great experience. Engine light came on so I brought my car in and they ran diagnostics and found it was something not covered by my warranty. They got the part at a great price, scheduled the repair around my priorities. Very happy with the service. Everyone there was helpful and friendly and the office is bright, comfortable and clean if you need to stay and wait. Definitely my new auto service.Service: Auto maintenance
