What an honest family owned business. I have been having AC issues and took it to Nevco. I got the recommendation from a few friends who use them. While my issue is intermittent, they needed to have my car for a few days. Each day they communicated with me and very honest about what they were finding. Nevco could have said it was this issue and charge me money but because they weren t sure of what was going on, they charged me nothing. I so appreciate their honest and diligence in trying to figure it out. I will use them again!

The best place to go for most vehicle repairs. The owner will test drive your vehicle when you get there and after the work is done to make sure it runs correctly. You will always get friendly and honest service. Best shop in Houston!

Finally found my houston mechanic! Very honest and great prices! Hernan and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Hernan took the time to drive my car to identify other issues, not just what I told him. He then went into great detail of what the problem is, what causes, and how seriousness the issue was. Because of his integrity, honesty, and great prices, I will be coming back in the future.

If you need your car repairs, bring it to Nevco. I have had bad luck with other shops but they are great and only fix what is needed. I can t recommend them enough.

As most people have already said, Hernan and the folks at Nevco operate with honesty and integrity. A very trustworthy shop.I was passing through the area and needed some brake work done before a long road trip. Nevco was recommended to me and I immediately saw why. From my first phone call through the final fix, Hernan was diligent and communicative. He ended up diagnosing something different with my brakes from what I had been told at the dealership and it was an easier and a little cheaper fix. If I lived in Houston, I would use this shop consistently. Thank you guys for your great work!

I've been bringing my vehicle here for many years. Hernan manages the shop with honesty & integrity. I know the work will be done right the first time & and at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them!

I have been to this garage several times and it is highly recommended. Hernan takes the time to explain the issue and what it takes to repair it. Honest Texans providing a service for the community. Let me just say I think mechanic shops are dime a dozen and also I never have wrote a review. I decided to write a review though because this shop deserves some recognition. I now understand what people say that they have a mechanic that they always go to. I now can say the same. I will use and refer people to THIS SHOP! I was in a huge bind with my truck needing a new flywheel (which is a huge time consuming job to do) this shop had my truck finished the next day. I sadly live in my truck so this shop knew how critical it was to get my truck back to me. Not only did they finish my truck in a timely manor this shop was also the most reasonably priced for the type of work that needed done. We all know when your car leaves your stranded and needs work done how stressful it is. This shop knew I was on a budget. my vehicle needs other work done this shop was not pushy about the other maintenance. They just explained what other work needed to be done and what will happen with my vehicle if I continue to drive without getting the other work done. I liked this shop because they were open and transparent the entire time they worked on my truck and did not attempt to over charge like other shops tend to regularly do.I just wanted to give a shout out for this shop and to let everyone know that they need to give THIS SHOP a GO 10/10 will use this shop again if and when I need work done.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

Excellent work, needed a part fixed, and they repaired it the same day. Haven't had a problem with that particular fixing as of yet. I just don't like the aggressive dog they have in the waiting room. It viciously barks like it wants to attack the customer.

They are beyond accommodating I love this place so much! For example I love the fact that they open at 7am. I work 9-8 so it s really difficult to find a place that opens early almost all mechanics open at 8 or later so by he time I get it diagnosed I m already late for work. You can also pay by phone which is extremely convenient. I m a girl so I don t know much about card and trust this place with my life! They ve done previous work on my Jeep and I will continue to bring it here. Excellent work and super friendly staff!!

I want to say that the folks at Nevco went above and beyond to help fix my trucks ac problem. They were prompt , courteous and very thorough, in dealing with my spur of the moment, problem. We had gotten a costly repair estimate from our dealership. Took the vehicle to Nevco, where they determined that while some of the items were in need of addressing, a vast majority of the quoted work from the dealership wasn t necessary. Although they could have easily made in excess of $3,000 on the job, they instead quoted me for the items that actually needed repair and got to work. It s good to find an honest mechanic who isn t in the business of ripping people off.

Can't say enough of how easy it is to work with these guys and what a great job they do to explain everything and communicate. Have been going to one place for years and then had to switch it up do to some sketchy repairs and pricing.Not only was it the lest expensive estimate I received but the only one where they explained what options I had and worked with me to get my car back to me asap, even over a holiday weekend.

Nevco Auto Repair is a hidden gem! The quality of service, both from the front office and the mechanics in the shop are hands down some of the best you will ever receive. The turn around time on repairs, whether is be minor or major is great! The pricing is the most fair you will find. And the hands-on, honest experience you will receive from the owner, Hernan, is something money just cannot buy.I manage a used car dealership nearby, and Nevco has been an absolutely amazing find. They do any and all of our repairs. They have the knowledge, skill-set, and technology to work on ANYTHING you bring them. And they always stand behind their work.We are so glad we've developed a long-term relationship with Nevco, and look forward to MANY more years working with them.

Fantastic little shop. Hernan is very helpful and wants to do what is right for his customers. I have used this shop two times and each time his final invoice came in lower than the original estimate. On one of the repairs he actually told me I did not need to do some of the work I thought needed to be done which saved me some money.

I called about getting a quote over the phone for a timing belt replacement on my honda odyssey. Not a problem. Helped to correct light ding I had put in my car, no problem, no charge. I brought it in late in the afternoon and had it back the next day before 1pm. All of that with a guarantee. A very honest shop!

My family has been using Nevco for 30 years and 3 generations. Hernan is a great guy and his repairs hold up. I never worry about being sold a repair I don't need. Go here for a fair deal and good work.

Good people and excellent service. They really deliver the service your car need. They do not try and make up things about your car. You can rest assure that what they say is wrong with your car is correct. They do not try to run your bill up be telling you false information. This will forber9be my choice.

A few years back I took my car to the dealership to get some regular maintenance and a leak repaired. Serviceman quoted me $3,400. I called up nevco Auto Repair from a referral from a friend. Before the owner even asked any questions, he said knock off 30% of what the dealer quoted you. I brought it in and they did a look over of the vehicle to see what needed to be done. And it didn't need everything the dealer had quoted me. In the end the repairs cost me $700. I've brought my vehicle back the nevco repair and they've taken care of me ever since. I won't go to anybody else, and neither should you. They're honest and hard-working and do a great job every time. They will not tell you you need something you do not need.

Hernan runs this shop and he is fantastic. He stands by his work and if something goes bad he'll fix it later at no charge. I tried a rebuilt part for one repair and it went bad so we decides to go with a new one. He charged me the difference and did the install for free.

Honest and fairly priced. I bring my work fleet here for service and maintenance and will be bringing my personal vehicles as well when needed.
