My car was in the shop for a month and 2 weeks it was supposed to get a remanufactured transmission. This is definitely not a remanufactured transmission. After noticing the dashboard being broken I decided to check over everything. Don t go here. It is a huge scam. This is definitely a used transmission that has a broken transmission mount. This is probably why it took so long and why they had to rebuild it again. They broke the bracket that supports the catalytic converter and left the carrier bearing for the haft shaft loose. $3600 later and I don t feel safe driving my car now.Services: Transmission, Clutches & transmissions service & repair

This weekend I noticed my check engine light came on, so I was shopping around for different repair facilities. The first shop I called quoted me $300 just for the diagnostic. I ended up calling My transmission experts on Highway 6 and spoke to the manager I believe his name was Jay. He took his time with me to explain the different possible causes of the problem and the urgency of situation. He was straight forward and honest about how the pricing of the repair depends on what they find in the Diagnostic. I highly recommend this shop if you re looking for quality repairs and great customer service!Service: Transmission

Update: owner reached out and rectified the situation. Based on this I am improving the rating to 4 stars.BEWARE of the advertised pricing.Called ahead and was quoted 69.99 for an oil change and 129.99 for transmission fluid exchange (due to special fluid).Walked out the door with a bill for over 500$. They gave me a small discount to bring it down to 450$, but this still does not take away from the underlying issue.Any place in the world will include oil and filter in the oil change price. And 69.99 for a synthetic oil change is about average in my opinion. When reviewing the bill, they charged me 110$ for 7 quarts of STP synthetic motor oil on top of the labor and oil filter, for which you can get for less than 40$ at Autozone. I only did the oil change at the same time because the price seemed reasonable and it was convenient.For the transmission service, they used the Nissan fluid at 28$ a quart, but proceeded to charge me 230$ for the fluid itself. Substantial mark ups. More than double on the cheap oil and 33% on the trans fluid.Don't get me wrong, the customer service was good, but I absolutely do not appreciate the misrepresentation and false advertising to get a customer in the door, then charging an arm and leg before you can leave. The markup is not reasonable and the pricing is not competitive with other shops in the same area.Will not be taking my wife's car there, which was the plan after mine was completed.Service: Transmission

So I started having transmissions issues with my 2019 Chevy Silverado, I took it to my transmission expert and they diagnose the problem. They told me what the issue was with the truck. And I m not going to lie they gave me a real good price on the transmission.. so I went ahead and told them to get started with the job it only took a couple days and I have to say I m really pleased with the job today so I recommend my Transmission expressed to anybody .

Don't go to this place, the guy in the office doesn't know how to treat people. I went to ask for a quote. The man kicked me out of the office and didn't even let me explain what I wanted. If they're all that nice, I don't want to see how they work.

Last year, transmission was rebuilt in 2011 Silverado. These guys provided me with all of my options (which were few) and did a great job in returning my truck in a more than reasonable amount of time. I have not had any problems since the repair. Passed the 12,000 mile maintenance check with flying colors.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

DO NOT COME HERE! I called them in the beginning of August to see how much it would be for a quote/estimate to get my transmission repaired. I was told that they would charge $995 to take out the transmission and inspect it. They said this would go towards the overall cost of the vehicle repairs. I asked multiple times if the $995 would be the only thing I would have to pay for if I wasn t going to get it fixed. Jimmy kept telling me yes to that. Fast forward to today, I told them that I wasn t going to get my car fixed because the repairs cost more the car itself. He then proceeds to text me my invoice of ALMOST $2000. I didn t get any type of work or repairs done. Just my car inspected. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO GET FIXED! They are not transparent or honest about the pricing. I m $2000 out of money with a transmission that wasn t repaired or evens worked on. Just inspected.Service: Transmission

Thank You Thomas Sims for coming to our rescue when our transmission got sick and puked on the highway at I-10 and Kirkwood. You went above and beyond our expectations by coming out and meeting us on a Sunday while we waited for Geico Road Service to provide a tow to your shop on Highway 6. You were courteous and reassuring to us in our distress as well as keeping us informed on the progress during the repair. We now have our RV back in its homeport in Thousand Trails in Willis ,TX. 1st location we went to had our car for 100 days. Didn't fix a problem we had after taking it back. Took it to a 2nd location, they seemed to have figured out the issue but we realized they racked up $90 in toll fees and someone is taking our car home and to work like it's their personal vehicle. I get it needing to be driven but don't take it on tollway AND DON'T USE OUR CAR AS YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE

I recently took my Jeep Patriot here because I though something was wrong with my transmission. After a short test drive John told me that everything is okay and it's best not to do anything to the transmission, don't change the transmission fluid like I was planning to do because that may cause problems at this point. I am glad that he is an honest guy and tells me nothing needs to be done. I will definitely go back here if I would ever have problems with my car.

Called last friday to ask about their $39.99 transmission oil & filter change, spoke to a John, who was very friendly and pushy to schedule an appointment for me, said that I would be IN and OUT and acted like they had wide availability in openings, I explained that I have to be prompt and would like to show up as soon as they opened, he said they open at 9am. I scheduled an appointment for this morning 9am. I showed up this morning 8:51am to be FIRST and found out their actual hours open at 8am, and there were two people in line before me. My appointment was absolutely worthless. Guy at the counter said the fastest the appointment could be would be 90 minutes once they started working on the car, and couldn't start working on the car for at least an hour, was BARELY saying 11:30 would be out of there. John was not upfront or honest with me and disrespected my time. I drove 40 minutes this morning to get here at 8:52am only to be told it would be about 3 hours, when John said I'd be "In and Out" and I SPECIFICALLY told john on the phone I don't have 2 or 3 hours to wait around I have a 6 month old baby. Wasted 90 minutes of my time and 4 gallons of gas this morning roundtrip going to this location to only be disrespected and lied to. John also did not say that the $39.99 transmission oil change only included first 4 quarts of fluid and there was additional charge for more fluid even though I told him I have a Large F250 truck, did not warn me the cost would be higher than advertised. Waste of time. "Free diagnostics" Told us it would be an hour and 5 minutes later our car was back out front and he told us they can't work on it. I called before hand, told him what type of vehicle and what the issue was when I made the appointment to come in. Drove my car all the way too him to not even have it diagnosed, he could have told us over the phone he wasn't interested in looking at the car. Also was SUPER friendly on the phone making the appointment and then as rude as possible when we got there and were dealing with him. Wasted my time, gas, and put 45 minutes of drive time on a car, that has a severe oil leak for it to be in their garage for a max of MAYBE 5 minutes. Unprofessional and obnoxious. If you don't want to give free diagnostics don't offer it. (BUT I WOULDVE PAID FOR THE DIAGNOSIS) Not to mention the fact that I had already expected and planned for the car to be out of commission for a couple days. And after wasting my morning, Only to be told that they don't work on euro cars.... when they asked me make model and what the problem was. Two day prior, when I made an APPOINTMENT. The shop was well aware of the circumstances and the vehicle. Not to mention had absolutely zero recommendations on who what or where I could take the car too. Even after stating the fact that the vehicle is my daily driver. And I work 70hrs a week. Don't exactly have time to burn. On my only day off. Absolutely horrible experience. Thanks for nothing.

After seeking estimates to repair the CVT transmission on my 2012 Nissan Quest, I got connected online with Transmission Experts. They looked at my car and gave me the best price to do this repair. I didn t like having to pay the $995 up front without the car being repaired. That seemed unprofessional to me. However, once the work was completed, $4850 later, my transmission was back in shape. Fluid leakage occurred the following morning, but after bringing it in and replacing the copper washers, which had worn out in the fluid line, I have had a smooth running vehicle now for the last 3 months. Jimmy was helpful and the work was complete in 3-4 days. The mechanics seem knowledgeable and dependable.

I wouldn't be any happier where I took my vehicle to get my transmission serviced. Thomas the service manager, has helped me in so many ways on my vehicle, and I wouldn't take it anywhere else but to my Transmission experts. He is the man to see about your transmission! Max was very informative on what was going on with my car and he explained all my options to me. They fixed my transmission in a timely fashion and also let me know if some other issues my car had that we fixed as well. Friendly manager, but their service is trash! They repaired my transmission, forgot the program the shift gear, so the acceleration suffered. Had to drive 30 minutes back there! Then they stalled my car, because they didn't tighten the battery, and didn't compensate me for my troubles! I paid these people 4500 for this??? Dont do it! Go somewhere else.Service: Transmission

I notice that they only respond to the good reviews so the wont be responding to this one. My car was towed to this location on 01/11 and as of 02/08 my vehicle is still there waiting on parts which has been what they have been telling me after initially telling me it would only take 1 week to complete. I called this morning and told them I needed my car back they said it was up on the railing getting fix and wasn't drivable which when I called on 02/3 it was drivable but making a noise. I'm no mechanic but I wouldn't think it would take 1 month for a transmission to be repaired. Also the most important part I forgot to include was you pay the full price up front. I asked who was the owner which they didn't give me the answer saying they would have the general manager call me. So know researching who owns this establishment. I will file a BBB complaint and also with the state of Texas as this is unethical. I really want to file a police report for a stolen vehicle. Please read the reviews before making any decision my car was broke down and I was stuck so I was desperate and they got me.Service: Transmission
