The folks at Modern Aircooled have been caring for my 997.2 since I acquired it two years ago.They provided full PDK service, refreshed my suspension, fixed the windshield washer sprayer and have done other routine maintenance for me.While they are not the cheapest (still cheaper than dealer, however), they know these cars inside and out AND they are true enthusiasts. I pay a little extra for the peace of mind.. not to mention visiting their shop is always a cool experience w/ the assortment of vehicles they have around. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants to make sure their P-Car is treated right!

Jordan and his team are not just a great group of Porsche specialists, but they're also overall car enthusiasts. Take a quick walk through their shop and you'll see everything from a 930 being engine-out serviced to an LS motor being retrofitted to a Cayman. I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my modern or air-cooled cars to him for jobs big or small.

I can t say enough great things about Modern Aircooled. Harris, Jordan, and the rest of the team are extremely knowledgeable, not to mention just overall great people. They did a really good job on my old 2006 Cayenne and had it driving like new.Their rates are much more reasonable than the a dealership and they are extremely transparent with their estimates. I came in with a pre-purchase inspection from another shop and they could have easily just taken that and done the work as recommended by that inspection but Harris showed me all the things that weren t needed or required and saved me a bunch of money.They will always be my go to Porsche shop.

Jordan and his guys are awesome. They will take care of anything you need when it comes to restorations, track readiness, tuning and overall maintenance on your Porsche. They all are very welcoming and nice. Definitely recommend

Please allow the guy who writes the least amount of reviews share his recent experience. It started with a 911 Targa I placed a deposit on from a dealer in Houston. The vehicle looked great from the photos but as a long distance buyer living in Los Angeles, I figured to get a PPI would be warranted. I searched the inter webs and found Modern Aircooled and spoke with Jordan. Who not only spent a considerable amount of time on the phone sharing his vast knowledge, but has since been acting as an excellent source for me while I continue my search. I m a novice in the Porsche world but feel as though I ve learned more in a few conversations and emails with Jordan than I could have through reading numerous online forums, etc. I m still on the hunt for the right Porsche but am so very grateful to have found Jordan. He s definitely wiser beyond his years and very well versed in the industry. I Highly recommend Jordan and his Shop.

Jordan and team are true professionals and I appreciate their prompt communication, honesty and flexibility. I took my 997 in for routine maintenance, but had the check engine light flash before drop off and the team at Modern Air Cooled went above and beyond to diagnose and resolve the erroneous light. They completed the routine service in a timely manner and communicated pickup timeline and invoice details effectively.

I have used Modern Aircooled to perform all sorts of upgrades and maintenance on my car. They have done everything from a simple oil change to pulling the motor and pinning coolant lines. No matter what task or idea that I've approached them with, Jordan and his team have been open and honest and great to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone needing service or upgrades for their Porsche. They are a great alternative to the dealer or other shops.

Jordan and crew really are a diamond in the rough if you're an inner-looper. They were happy to work on my Viper and showed an attention to detail that far exceeded my expectations. For a minor exhaust issue, he came up with a logical plan to permanently fix it, and to top it all off, charged a REASONABLE amount. Amazing concept in this industry, and shows they care about their work and reputation. If you need someone in central Houston to take care of your sports car as diligently as you would, and not rip you off, you'd be crazy not to give these guys a crack at your business.

An absolute gem! Jordan is a 1st rate Porsche mechanic. I have trusted him with my 911 ever since he has been in business. He is straight down the line, responsive and friendly. He is also a Porsche enthusiast and takes great pride in his work. When your mechanic drives the same car and shares the same passion for 911s as the customer it is a winning formula. Same great staff, new awesome location!! Now super conveniently located and with a massive square footage upgrade! Multiple lifts and a bunch of INDOOR storage mean Jordan is taking this awesome, formally lil', shop to the next level. From oil changes, to little jobs, to complete overhauls, Jordan and his crew do it all. These are some fantastically enthusiastic fellows that treat your investment like it was their own. I have no reservations sending people to this shop, which I consider to be one of Houston Porsche enthusiasts' best kept secrets.

I've had my 2011 Porsche 911 turbo serviced there a few times now. Jordan and his team have taken excellent care of my car. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a shop that maintains and takes great care of your car.

Upon driving into work the water pump in my 997.1 let go. A quick call to Modern Aircooled led to the best mechanical support I have received. Jordan had the parts ready to go and I was back on the road the next day. I know a fair bit about wrenching on my own car and I have been thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and service at Modern Aircooled. These guys love what they do and we are lucky to have them in the center of town. Super satisfied!

These guys do fantastic work, are down to earth, and have a true expertise for these cars. It's a great feeling to bring your car to people that share the same passion for Porsches. In my case, with an older car, they got it set up and sorted, and helped me better understand how it works. For me, there is no better shop in town.

I have exclusively used independent shops on my last two German vehicles and this one has been the best. I love the shop size, you really get a sense that they know what they are doing and the cost is fair. My Boxster will be maintained by Modern Aircooled for as long as I have it! Thank you for the great work. They also have an awesome Instagram page that is worth a follow if you are a car person. :)

Great shop - knowledgeable team that is really part of the Porsche community in Houston. Changed my oil this month and looked over the car thoroughly in preparation for a road trip.Highly recommended, their new shop always has interesting metal to see

In less than a year, Jordan has amassed a wide audience and clientele throughout the Houston area through his ever-growing social media presence as well as for his inspiring work ethic. Before I was their client, Modern Aircooled was mine. I did a few photoshoots for them to help with the sale of a few cars. After seeing what they were all about, and after Jordan and I had talked about it, I decided to hand over the keys to my GTI and have Jordan and Fred replace my drive axles, as they were nearing the end of their lifespan. They did a fantastic job, and let me bother them at the shop for a few hours while they conducted the repairs. There's no BS with these guys. They know exactly what they are doing, as they have done and continued to do restorations, repairs, maintanence, inspections, modifications, and have even launched their detailing department as the shop has germinated and has been able to expand within their property. If you have anything Porsche related (or car related!) that needs to be done, these are the guys to go to. They'll help you get it done.P.S. They're the only Porsche shop inside the loop. Location, location, location!

My 40 year old 911 is running better than ever. Exhaust and CIS system was overhauled. Worth the wait and good communication throughout the job. I found the team and owner reliable, experienced and highly recommend for classic air cooled vehicles based on this experience and from what I have heard through the local owners network.

I had Modern Aircooled diagnose an intermittent, recurring (the worst kind to find) problem with my 964, that has previously been difficult to pin point by more than one shop. I am very careful about who touches my baby, but Jordan and Justin are top notch in my book, and I am extremely happy with their work! Highly recommended!!

Top Notch guys over there. Thanks Jordan and Justin for taking such great care of my 911's! The new AWE Switchpath Exhaust was more than I hoped for! Great hidden gem for those needing a Porsche shop inside the loop. Got my oil changed for half the price of the dealer.. can't beat that.Keep up the good work :-)

I had MAC do several modifications to my 911tt and the results have been outstanding. They are true professionals and very friendly. They also did my brakes and was much more affordable than the dealer using oem parts.
