Zero stars if I could. Had them quote us for repairs and we specifically told Juan what was wrong since we had had an inspection done already. Quoted us a price (reasonable) to start, BUT had to take the car to the shop, paid in full and all the work wasn t complete. Daughter went back the next day to get the car aligned cause the car felt worse and they told her to go in and the car had a sound as if it was dragging something. Said the car needed new tires, couldn t align it like that. We got new tires. Then, I took a day off cause this was crazy, stayed at the shop 6hrs for the alignment. Still needed a coolant part to be replaced. Juan said he would be at my job the next day to do that. The car still had the dragging sound. Got home and the under panel (whatever it s called) was lose and that s what was dragging (I put pictures). Told Juan about this and he said that happens with these cars, but he would screw it on for whatever I wanted to give him. WHAT!!? If he worked on the suspension, he obviously took it off and should have put it back the way it was. My husband had to screw it on so I didn t have to drive to work like that. Anyway, I let it go, but he didn t show to replace the part for the coolant the next day. Didn t answer calls or texts after he told me he was at court and would call me back, I drove to the shop again and they said he was at lunch, another guy said he was picking up parts. Called him about 15 times after work and nothing. Next day I called, he came to replace the part finally, but still wanted to charge me another $89!!! No Sir we asked for a quote for everything. NEVER USING HIM AGAIN. I give people the benefit of the doubt, but this is way too much. I should have known when I saw another client call the cops on him when I was there. 0 stars. Ceasar came out and looked at my car because it wasn t starting. He Charged $80 for the initial diagnostic and said that the starter needed to be replaced but that I had to get it towed to his shop because he couldn t do that type of work mobile. So I had it towed to his shop. I pick the car up from the shop later that evening and there s a bunch of lights on the dash that weren t there. He told me drive a little bit and they ll go away. They did not just go away of course, and 2 days after my car leaves their shop, it won t start again. At this point I ve paid him $787 to replace the starter. So I take my car to the Jeep dealership where they tell me that something in the engine is compromised and that was the cause of the starting issues. So not only did he not correctly diagnose the vehicle, I paid him $787 just to still have to bring my car to the shop again 2 days later. They don t do honest work. Everything is off the record. STAY AWAY

Ray Lane is a saint! My 15 seater van with a 16' trailer overheated a caliper in the middle of i10 and Ray helped me get my wife and kids safely off the highway and then he went to AutoZone and changed the caliper in the ikea parking lot! He saved me from spending a huge tow fee, expensive repair fee from a regular shop, a taxi ride an hour back home, days without a vehicle... I can't say thank you enough Ray! I highly recommend you! Don't waste your time, they do not communicate professionally, they are dishonest, they lie about services done on your vehicle, prices are made up as they go, my vehicle was damaged while in their shop. Mobile Mechanic at 3515 Hillcroft should not be in busines. BBB should give a F in rating

I was discriminated against for only having card and not cash.... treated as if I was going to runoff on a diagnostic fee I guess "black people are crooks for customers right " will never return..only a few are okay but you'll know the ones who are RACIST

This place is a rip off. There are homeless people living and walking in and out of this place stealing stuff from your car. They make you sign a contract the first thing. They are incompetent, especially "James" and "Johnny". They try to scare you if you are nice to them.I had an electrical issue with car, they made me change fuel pump, battery, cleaned cylinder head and ripped me off around $1000 by not understanding the issue with car. Please stay away from this place if you don't want to regret.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

Cesar was not helpful at all he was rude and intolerant and intoxicated when he came to look at my jeep wrangler and when he finally supposedly "fixed" it it broke down again secs later which the same issue i would never use this business ever again

I was in Houston for work and had my starter go out on me. It was raining so I couldn't get a mobile mechanic, but Juan told me if I had it towed there he could have it done by the morning (I already had the new starter with me). I got it towed in around 3 30pm which I knew was pretty late in the day so I was a bit nervous about when it would be done the following day. 7:30am the next morning, Juan called and said it was ready. Had me back on the road before 9am. Thanks Juan and to your mechanic crew. My truck cranks up like its right off the car lot.

I got my igniton switch fixed at Mobile mechanic plus. The customer service was great. I got my ignition switch ordered with in minutes. The mechanic checked my car to make sure it was starting after wards. I haven't had any more problems starting my car. It sounds great and I really feel relieved.Their always freindly and do a great job.I use them for all my repairs and I would recommend Mobile mechanic plus for the great serviceService: General repairs & maintenance

This place is a joke. They are more interested in charging a diagnostic fee than actually helping you. Don t waste your time with this location. Larry was an amazing mechanic. He helped me to replace my breaks as well as all of my electronics in my car. He performed a complete analysis of my vehicle and was fairly priced and done perfectly. Company name on Better Business Bureau: Mobile Mechanic FPFi refuse to give this scumm of the earth a star at all.. this establishment is a scam... all the positive reviews are friends, relatives, or flat out fake.. they WILL try to steal your car with the use of coercion, decievement, and in my experience flat out lies.. i have had to seek legal assistance in attempts to get my car back. now i find out it has been used as a personal get around vehicle adding miles to my very first car i have paid off! now in attempts to communicate my father and i both had the line disconnected on us mid-sentence. today my poor car sits outside front of the establishment loaded with miles i would never agree on being put on my car and belongings that do not belong to me, without communication or warning either. as soon as i find out how to share pictures i will add a correct review... paces like this should not be aloud to continue to be able to legally call themselves a business. please pray for me as i continue the fight to return my car to its rightful owner, and as i continue to go and reach out to BBB. thank you all for listening. shame we have to give a star to post.B_means i am currently contacting the attorney generals office, the BBB, and my attorney in efforts to retrieve my vehicle also the business name on the BBB in case you couldn't find it is not the same as shown here it is actually Mobile Mechanic FPF

Absolute worst mechanic shop I've ever been to. Avoid like the plague. My company had a truck towed there for an air brake issue. They diagnosed the problem to be the compressor and after being told they couldn't get the part for two weeks. They then took another month to do the service. Then demanded payment, $4800, in cash or money order. Sketchy. That didn't happen and it's a good thing because the truck was never fixed. When we tried to take it after they said it was finished, still wouldn't disengage the brakes. Finally after taking it to a different mechanic, the compressor was never the issue. A simple valve. Much cheaper, easy fix that took a matter of hours instead of weeks. I can't believe this place is actually in business. It's a complete joke.

This place is very unprofessional they took $59.99 from my husband for them coming out which I get then they tell him they need to take the car in and would need a $200 deposit before even taking the car which they never took because my husband changed his mind then charged him a second fee of $59.99 when my husband and I show up to the shop the manager is not there the shop representative told us to call the manager the manger was rude and nasty I definitely would not recommend this place at all the manager yelled at my husband told him call your bank we didn t charge you twice then hung up in my husband face as he was still talking. This place is a scam and the police should be sent over there I think they tried to get over on him because he has an accent and is foreign. They are crooks and deserve to spend time in prison.

I will give a zero star.These people charge you up front before they even know what is wrong with you vehicle, the owner answers the calls but doesn't show up, he gives you the option of $49.99 if you bring your vehicle to their shop or they come to you and you pay $102 for diagnostic even if you tell him that you already have a printout for the diagnostic. So I chose to bring my sprinter van to the shop. They could not find out what to do to fix my van though my van has been on the lot over night for almst 24 hours I had to lose the money and all that time.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Mechanics actually working are great, however the management over them is terrible. I had my vehicle there and items were stolen out of my vehicle. I called management and was told they are not liable for damages to your vehicle nor stolen property from your vehicle while on their property. Basically if anything happened to your vehicle it s all on you for leaving it with them. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AT THIS SHOP. They have the guy on video stealing my property and still they say it s up to me to fix it. Even though they hired the guy, and it s on camera happening at their shop in broad daylight. I am still battling trying to get my items back from a guy I ve never seen. Basically I m calling a random number the manager says is his and hoping he answers and agrees to return my items. This shop is unprofessional, untrustworthy, and 100% not a safe place to leave your vehicle.Service: Engine repair

I have used this company for past 10 years , on my car and rest of my family cars, truck , they always give estimate up front , after the job is done they test drive car before delivery they are honest , up front , no surprise . billing .very friendly, and respectful .i drive 2018 Ford Edge , we have GM Diesel pick up, and ford van and Surau. they have worked on all of them , we area happy with their work, and hard to believe the other negative review.Sandra . I don t know where to beginMy sons vehicle was dropped off at 4 PM to a man named Ray and was told it was the water pump, several hours later it turned into the AC compressorAll fine my son was more then happy to oblige and trust his word he left a deposit and was told to pick his vehicle up around 2PM the next dayMy son shows up at 1:30 and the car was not touched at all and upon further investigation the mechanic Rey had disappeared locking his key in a tool chest.Bothered my son reaches out to the owner who is the dispatcher and is told that he fix it sends another mechanic a mechanic who never showed up and my son went home and waited till 5Called the owner/dispatcher Mr Miller again. And he informed my son that if you have a spare key you can take your vehicle what a ludicrous statement to make my son Lyft back and forth to this mechanic and now provide a key because of his mechanics negligence and unprofessional behavior.The shop keep eventually cut into his co workers box to retrieve my sons key and after 55 mins to reinstall a serpentine belt for whatever reason was off the car has a knock that wasn t there before.We will be filing charges as we are a very involved in the state of Texas and New YorkYou will NOT get away with this blatant disregard and shameful practice

They are very expensive and tried to run game on me with the charging. They charged me 70$ to come and check my car to see what was wrong, which I can understand seeing as they drove all the way to the north side but then tried to charge me 488 just for labor to change the ecm which what was wrong with my car and went ahead and charged me 600$ For the new part when the parts only 400$.

Only gave a star just so I can write a review, they tried to charge me $200 for a battery for a 06 Chevy and another $120 for labor but the battery wasn t even the issue called him back and explained that yes my vehicle started but still was cutting off he then said he can t come til the next day to figure it out told him no I just gave $345 and I m not waiting another day he can either refund me my money and come get the battery or my husband was going to come up to the shop and file a report on them, he changed his mind real quick and refunded me my moneyService: Auto maintenance

Ray and Michale worked on my car and i ve been having issues since . They came out straight away, evaluated the issue, and fixed it under the shittiest if conditions. Wasn't expensive, only $55 for the evaluation, and then the cost off labor. Once they do the work, the subtract the estimate from the cost of labor making it a lot cheaper than you intially hear. Very happy with the work and perseverance.

What a rip off. First of all, the person that answered my call qouted me 59.99 for the service fee. When the technician came, he stated it was 69.99. Then, he dx the issue, which by the way was a bad starter, and he qouted me 385 labor. That didnt include the part. Then on top of that, he stated vehicle had to be towed to shop and it would be an all day job. Umm, MOBILE MECHANIC.. you are suppose to do the job on site. Then he proceeds to state that i pay half of tow fee..umm no! You offer mechanical services to where the vehicle is at. A starter change is not a job to needs to be taken to the shop, nor an all day job. And you say you have 49yrs exp...hmm. i think because i was a woman, he felt he could add all those extra charges.

Rude Unprofessional when I was trying to explain to the employee my issue he was talking over me several times and I explained to him on numerous times my car needed service and I already had the diagnostic from another mechanic . Please train your employees to talk less and listen more

I have deal with alot of mobile mechanic and 90% are scammers and will charge you anything they want rather the car is fixed or not.This man that came to work on my car was amazing!!! Fixed my car in 1 hour and made sure that i was happy and understood the problem.He was not just out for money he actually cared bout fixing my car and my safety.Thanks alot you prbly saved me a bunch of money!!
