I stopped in to get a 2nd opinion on an issue I was having. I was greeted at the door by Josh and he helped me immediately. I not only had the issue explained to me (including another one that I didn t know I had) but I was also shown the issues with my car. It was much easier for me to understand that way. My issues were still under warranty with the dealership so it would be fixed under warranty. If you ever need muffler work done I highly recommend this place. They actually care about their customers. Thanks Josh!

Went in at 8:30am on a Saturday for an oil change and inspection, a few people ahead of me and I was only there 45 mins and everything went perfect. I d highly recommend and will use this Midas for all future car maintenance. Front desk guy was very nice and helpful as well.

I took my car here for a wheel alignment after getting a set of tires elsewhere. They took my car in immediately and did a thorough check that actually the car doesn t need an alignment. Super honest and didn t charge anything. Would be back for future maintenance needs. Thank you

I called this location to see if they had any availability for an oil change and if they accepted a coupon I had found on the Midas website. I was very specific about what the coupon stated, and I was told yes they accepted it and they were free to do an oil change. I drove 30 minutes to them, in the rain, because the Midas closest to my house was fully booked. When I got here I was told the coupon wasn t valid at this location. Understandable, but VERY frustrating being that I called before driving out here to verify this information. An entire hour of driving time wasted out of my day. Complete waste of time.

I went in to get my front end aligned and when they put my car on the rack they told me my lower control arm was bad but they went ahead and done the alignment but told me when I replace the parts because I told him I do all my own work That I could bring it back in and get it realigned for free so I ordered the parts and put them on and took it back up there and no questions asked took it right in did the alignment everything s perfect and they were just a great bunch of people to work with

This place is a rip off. Took my car in to have the exhaust inspected. After inspecting the car and finding nothing wrong with the exhaust. They wanted to replace the idler pulley and charged me almost $300 if I agreed.The technician drove the car off the ramp too fast tore my undercarriage shield. I was thinking outside on the passenger side watching the shield get torn. I had them to put the car back on the ramp to look at the undercarriage shield. The shield was torn. The manager Joshua promised to replace the shield and that he had to order it. Got a phone call from him a few days later stating that the shield was in bring the car in to have it replaced. I take my car in they don't have a shield they put glue on the old shield and told me it was replaced. It was raining while I was at Midas so I didn't look under the car. When I got home put the car in the garage I looked under the car saw that they had put glue on my car I was outraged. I called them back and confronted them about putting glue on the car. They said there was nothing they could do about it the shield was hanging down when the car was brought in. The shield was I not hanging down never had a problem with the shield. Also I stood outside and watched them put the car on the ramp and take it off. Let's say hypothetically that it was hanging down why would you leave me a voicemail (which I have saved) to bring legal actions against them if need be stating they have the new shield bring the car in so they can replace it. They were trying to overcharge me to put an idler pulley on my car for almost $300. After I decline not to do the idler pulley they didn't want to replace the shield. Do not take your car there these guys are scavengers. I'm an internet marketer these guys will be exposed both with photos and the audio file of the voicemail that they left me promising to replace the shield. No one deserves to be treated like this. Took my truck to this location on 9/4/19 for oil change and tire rotation. Service was fine. Annoyed they said they would call when it was ready, but I had to call and check. Typical for any place though. However, I m really bothered at the fact they did a poor job at putting the rim caps back on. One is missing a screw and barely hanging on. Will not be back.

Marty is the guy to see. I hit something in the road. I changed my tire, but something was just not right. I tried to figure it out and i had no luck. Everything looked good. Marty said it is probably the strut. Got his teck to look and sure enough he was right. He go the part and serviced my car in less than 1 hour. Thanks again marty, i will only use this midas location for any automotive needs

Went in three times and I left with more issues than resolutions. My experience was horrible. This place will take your car knowing they may not have the technical expertise to resolve your issue. The customer service is non-existent. I will say that my mechanic was extremely kind & helpful, but Steve should have never taken my car in knowing his team might not be able to resolve it, and Marty offered no apologies, resolution, or even a recommendation for where to take my car. I know there was more that they could have done seeing as how they broke my speedometer & I KNOW they do electrical testing, but Marty just shrugged, implied I was lying, and told me the buck stops with him. Extremely condescending and rude, I m not sure how he has a job. Stay far away. Also, I saw him send away a woman saying they had too much work, and then on the phone he said they were super slow not five minutes later. So I guess I m not the only one experiencing bad customer service.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Marty charges what he charges but he actually knows what he is doing which is the most important thing. At the end of the day, I rather be charged a fair price for quality service than get a cheap deal and have my car come back in pieces. He had our Mercedes bus back and running in no time.

Called ahead to see if I needed to schedule an appointment, I spoke with Marty who was incredibly helpful and provided all the info I asked for. I expected the wait to be about an hour and a half, but was pleasantly surprised when they knocked it out in half the time. The price at the register was the price I was given over the phone and you don't get that a lot with mechanic shops. I'll absolutely be using this location for my service needs whenever the situation calls for it. The lifetime guarantee on the brakes was a nice added bonus for no extra money. Highly recommend this place.

Had my brakes done at a different Midas in Houston and was told that they were fine when I went back to them .My car was still having issues and making an awful noise So I took it here and they got me in last minute and checked my car and found out that my brakes where defective. They got it fixed for me immediately ordered new brakes and even took me back to show me the problem in person . Definitely recommend this one if you need help around the Galleria

So after dealing with Jason I'm definitely impressed with this location.. he managed to balance my tires out to 0.. mind you these were new tires installed by a local tire shop who didn't even have my balance close.. One of the rears was off 40z.. the fronts were 1.75 to 2.25oz.. he also found a bend on the inside lip of one of the rear wheels that the other shop didn't catch and was able to point me in the direction of a place who could fix the bend for me.. would definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a straight forward shop to give this one a chance.

I ve been here twice now to service my car. Every time excellent service, great customer service and do a great job communicating everything to the customer. Really happy with the services I received here and would recommend anybody.I have had an oil change, brake pads checked and changed, and windshield wipers replaced. Their prices always seem fair and the team is always transparent and trustworthy.

Absolutely wonderful! To summarize: Marty and his team will take care of you. Highly recommended without any reservations!Long(er) story: I had a potential with issue (i.e., squealing) with my brakes. I scheduled an appointment and they were ready for me when I got there (points to them for respecting customer's time). Here's where they really shine: They showed me the potential issue and assured me that it was not a safety issue but more of a cosmetic one. I ended up not fixing the cosmetic issue, but they could have easily recommended that I should replace my brakes and rotors to make money. They clearly adhere to the principle of honesty is the best policy. Equally heartening, they did not want to charge me for the inspection, which took about 30 minutes of their time but I just had to tip these folks as I believe we should do our best to support businesses like theirs whenever possible.Service: Brakes

Went to their location for inspection, oil change, wind shield wiper replacement and wheel alignment. They did not have an inspection representative to do work. They change the oil a and filter but the next day I was driving to Dallas and the oil light came on. Once I got to Dallas I had to go 10 miles to a Midas shop to get them to top off the oil. As it turned out when I came back to Houston they did not put in the leakproof gasket for the oil pan drain plug. They filled the oil and had to wait three hours. Concerning the windshield wipers they did not do it the first time and had to bring it back. Concerning the alignment they said that the printer was not working and therefore they cannot give me the results. They offer for me to come back and they would do it again. My time was wasted. Very poor quality work and I am not confident with what they did or did not do. Avoid this locationServices: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Never again. Rude manager behind the desk immediately chastised me for not having a front license plate on my vehicle -- "It's Texas law!" He enjoyed mentioning this several times. Oil change then took a while but was fine overall BUT they did not put the plastic shield under my car back on properly (most cars have these covers now, annoying but not uncommon). I saw them fighting it and messing with it before getting it to stay up. Apparently, they didn't do it right because a couple weeks later mine was getting dragged and destroyed under my car. $400 piece of plastic I have to replace because of their incompetence. Maybe if they cared about doing things properly as much as they enjoy chastising customers that would not have happened. Never again.Service: Oil change

Went to this place since I had a brake assist light on. I was told that they will diagnose it and the price it will go towards the labor. Turns out I was told I had several codes but for the braking system code I needed a vacuum booster pump. I waited several hours for the pump to arrive and be replaced. After it was replaced I was told I needed a sensor and the sensor would take a day to arrive I paid for the pump and the labor. I told them to call me once the sensor arrive I took the car home it sounded worst than when I brung the car in originally. I called everyday for a almost a week about the sensor each day I was told it should arrive any day now. On the 7th day I called and was told the sensor arrived and I brung the car in and was told they will call me when they were done. I never received a call and when I called they were closed. Car had to sit there overnight with no update. I called the following morning and was told I needed a brake booster now. The price for a booster with labor totaled to almost $700. I declined the service due to the fact my car sounded worst after bringing it to them for repairs. I didn't want them to mess up anything else that's been done or say I need an additional parts when it arrives days later. I would of rather them tell me what's wrong all at once with the braking system and tell me All the parts for the braking system I need instead of doing a repair then giving me new prices and parts needed on a fix to fix basis. Then the car repair is worst condition as before. Seem like this place just want money and will tell you it's one thing just to fix it then tell you it's another issue. Advice to others beware or take your car to your actual dealership if it needs anything other than a diagnostic.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Amazing service! I came in today for an emergency brake service, I called ahead, they had the rotors and pads when I got there. They called me telling me my caliper had locked up completely and that with my permission they would order it and have the job done in the same amount of time.They communicated very well, extremely professional, and honest. And they are honest with pricing too. They won't screw you over on labor and sell you services you don't need. I'm a car guy and I went over everything with them. Hands down the best service I've had on my truck. Thank you!
