I meant Mr Mario himself and he seems like a real stand-up guy. I will be bringing back my vehicles to him. And he also gives great warranties, on what they fix.

I cannot express enough how happy I am with my whole experience. As I am driving my car, my whole car just starts shutting down. Engine vibrating, cars smoking, check engine light is on, car wont accelerate. I make it home bc I was right around the corner thankfully. This was on a Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to see whats going on. I live .2 miles from a mechanic shop so first thing Monday, I have my car towed there. He takes a look and changes some spark plugs and fuses. He gives me a call and tells me that he only does electrical and I need a mechanic and he can t recommend anyone. So, I start making calls. I called 7 places in total. This one place tells me they can do it and that they would call me. In the meantime, I am still calling around and call Mario s. I immediately was impressed with the customer service. I am looking at reviews and the first place that said they worked on the fuel pump (which is what I started the conversation with) had not called so I simply call saying that I font need help anymore and I have scheduled a tow. They LITERALLY ALREADY HAD MY CAR without my knowledge. I was furious and had to cancel my tow. Car is at this other place and I just keep getting the run around. Long story short, I get my car out after I had to cancel a second tow the following day and spend $500 just to get my car back for the tow I didnt want and a diagnostic they performed but still didnt know the problem. I finally had my key and my car and get another tow ordered to get it to Marios. Its there. I feel better already. The next day I make a call just to see whats going on. Mario himself calls me and lets me know what the diagnosis is. Its the fuel pumps just as I suspected. Tells me what its gunna take to fix it. We order the parts and wait. The parts come in and he fixes it. I call again just to get an update. We talk about a few things and something else that needed repairing. We order that part and he gets it and puts it on. Test drove it to make sure everything was good. He communicated the whole way through. Broke everything down for me. And helped me when I needed it. It was one of the beat experiences I had from the start. I cannot recommend them enough. I am overjoyed by the whole thing. He is an honest business man, not out here trying to con people. I have a business that I operate as well. It feels good to know that there are people out there who run a place like I do. He had my car back to me in a week. For everything he did, the price was fair and timely. I would give them 10 stars if I could and everyone who needs a mechanic, I will always recommend this place. I hadnt had to bring my car to a repair shop since I bought it so I didnt realize I needed to know a good mechanic shop. I am also not from here. They have gained a lifelong customer. 10/10 all the way. Thanks so much guys. Amazing Family business. Very professional and detailed. The tech test drove our vehicle before and after the repairs. Turns out it was a simple repair at a reasonable price. Very little waiting and great communication through the full process. I highly recommend this wonderful business. Great Job Guys!

Mario has what it takes to get your vehicle in and out in a very convenient, and very satisfying way. With hard to beat prices he fixed my whole a.c system for me. No doubt hands down the best mechanic I've been to.I feel very good about how my ac. Works. He did an excellent job and even made sure he went along for a test ride before I drove off. Excellent customer service and I recommend Mario's automotive to everybody.

Wonderful family that takes care of all your vehicle's needs! The owner is honest and down to earth. He never dumbs down the information when he is explaining car problems, but does a great job checking in with the client and using various analogies and/or diagrams to help the car owner understand what's going on. Their prices are really good! Honestly, they probably charge too little.

Had a super great experience! Very reasonable and fair prices! They did an excellent job diagnosing my check engine light and then repairs were made the same day! The service here is great, I trust Mario with my car. My bumper got messed up, but I needed my car for school. It was an emergency, and he fixed it in two days. He explained what was wrong with it and what needed to be done. The staff here was very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job in very short amount of time. I can't say enough good things about it, I'm very satisfied with their service. I would definitely recommend this place!

As a single female, I was overwhelmingly impressed with Mario's Automotive at 6710 Avenue W in Houston, Texas. I called to inquire about my Nissan's lights. Mr. Mario listened attentively and gave me his advice. He actually listened. He gave me quotes on how much the work would cost, and well as the cost of the parts. When I picked up my car, there were no surprises. The quote was the same! Prior to calling Mario's Automotive, I called several Nissan dealerships only to be put on hold! Mario's Automotive is clean, professional and the best customer service in Houston. If you want your ride fixed, you better start with Mario's Automotive & Transmission Repair. This man is honest, fair and has a sense of humor. His professionalism and honesty is above outstanding. I found my car a great doctor!

Mr. Mario and his establishment is top of the line. I will not be looking at other mechanics to do my repairs from here on out. Flaco was the mechanic who did the work on my truck. The man went above and beyond. Left my truck running smoother than it has ever been. If you're looking for a mechanic to do work on your vehicle, I would suggest Mario's Automotive everyday of the week.

Mario's is one of the best automotive shops in the city hands down. Finding a good Mechanic who does quality work and won t overcharge you is very difficult to find in any city, let alone one as big as Houston. Luckily there is a shop like that it s Mario Automotive! I recommend it to anyone looking for convenience and quality auto service. Mr. Mario (The owner) is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly his very honest with you. When needed they drop me off and they will pick me and always gets my car ready for me on time. The staff is always friendly and I can not say enough good things about the experiences I ve had through the years.

Mario s Automotive did a great job fixing the air conditioner on my 2016 Dodge Challenger. Turns out that my car has the new R1234YF Freon that only the dealer and very few repair shops carry. The dealer wanted three weeks to do the job, Mario s Automotive got it done in just a few days and at about half the cost. They also gave a one year parts and labor warranty.I am glad I found Mario s Automotive and would very highly recommend this place to anyone.Service: Air conditioning

I took my car in for an alignment, after a test drive I waited for the service to be completed for an half of an hour to be told it could not be completed unless I got my struts replaced or bearings done. The top of the page stated the test was based on a 20inch rim setup- I have 18's on my car may or may not make a difference but I'm stating the facts. Had a warranty so I Took it to BMW and they stated there were no issues and that they dont know how the got the numbers they had but the car wasn't as out of balance as they presented to me. I personally feel the owner was a decent guy, trying to do honest business. I just suggest getting a second opinion before getting work done.

We have taken our cars to Mario for years. They do fantastic work, are very fairly priced, knowledgeable, and so trustworthy. Have done multiple jobs from transmission replacement to minor repairs. We drive from conroe because no one is better!!

Embed reviewEdit review5.0 star rating 8/23/2018My son in law drove his car into a bunch of water and froze the engine! Meanwhile his insurance had elapsed, We thought the car was LOST! The Honda people wanted around $400.00 to just look at it. Mario and his guys took it all apart and cleaned it and put it back together. It runs great now, and cost was so damn reasonable. He is a great mechanic, and has great support team.I live in Conroe and he is my mechanic! Enough said right!?!Sam J.

2 vehicles I started taking there because I read Mario's positive reviews on his services. At first I thought this man was a genius he explained all the problems then when I got my vehicles back they were either the same condition or worsehe just puts Band-Aids on vehicles he doesn't even work on the vehicles and it seems to me he sits in a office all day because he is never sweaty or has his hands covered in grease stainds. YEAH A *GENIUS* AT TAKING YOUR $$MONEY$$

My experience with this auto mechanic. I took my Cutlass for a problem to where my car was shutting off. Mario, the head mechanic there took several days to actually look at the car. He finally saw it and charged me an arm and a leg and as soon as I let the shop, the car did the same thing. He likes to charge a pretty penny and I do not recommend this shop.

Mario is excellent at his job. He was able to find the problem and give me a quote. Unfortunately the price was too steep for me and I had to go somewhere else for repairs. Point is he found the problem after I visited about 5 other shops with no luck.

Prices are high but the work is done as it should be.Wont have to worry about the problem not getting fixed because, the mechanic guessed then charged more and more like other places..Done right the first time!

If you're looking for an honest mechanic who knows how to fix your car this is the place to go. I've never written a review but felt the need to put the word about Mario's Automotive. My car is a 2007 Nissan Sentra and it runs like new after it was fixed here!

I am a college female student so of course I rarely know anything about cars and what not. So with that being said, when I came to this place, my dad was with me, but I was the person who was using the car that was being evaluated and so I really appreciated when the owner himself spoke to me directly about what was going on with my vehicle and was able to communicate with me effectively about further issues that I might be dealing and what to do in case any of that would occur. I highly recommend anyone to attend this Auto Shop! They're bilingual too! So that's a plus!

I've always hated mechanics, I honestly couldn't give you a good reason why, but the second I walk into a shop I usually shut down. Not at Mario's, they were flexible with me, understanding, and were willing to answer all my (probably stupid) questions. There was no pressure, they give you the facts of what needs to be done, and leave it up to you on how you want to proceed. Great shop with great business practices!

I had my car there for 8 weeks. Only paid for a broken shift cable and tow which was $700. Rest of the time it just sat there. If they didn't want to work on it they could have just told me. This place is a total rip off. Take your car to the dealership. It will definitely cost the same.

If you have lived with good character in the world for any length of time, you will quickly recognize that Mario's Automotive is a rare find (quality work for a fair price) in this day and age where certain people not just want, but expect free services and time from you; and if they don't get what they want, they complain and cry about being ripped off and/or mistreated somehow.Services: Transmission, Auto body & trim repair, Auto battery replacement, Auto power window repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto exhaust system replacement, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto windshield replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Battery, Oil change
