These guys are nothing short of passionate. My sound system was broken in my car and they were able to identify it and fix it within only a few hours, it was extremely quick! These guys are honest, straight-to-the-point, and amazing. I'm highly recommending them.I've already told my brothers about them.

After going to several car audio shops and getting screwed over with the installations or with the equipment, speakers etc.I decided to give it another shot and I decided to stop by Katy Kar Audio where I met an incredible team.Usaman, Julio and Joe did a fantastic job on my installation. There real knowledgeable and experienced on what there doing here, they reassured me and guided me on what I needed and the best part was they weren t trying to upsell me anything. I couldn t be any more happy with the outcome of my sound system. I would highly recommend for anyone that s unsure of what they want or just wanting some general information to get you going in the right direction.

I came here for a backup-camera installation. While the camera was installed they cut wiring to the LED license plate lights and now the entire wiring has to be re-done. Had two mechanics look at their wiring job and they were baffled. You get what you pay for at this location, which is sub-par work!

I've been coming here for years. I have 2 cars tinted. 2 sets of amps and subs. I am now getting my car's head unit upgraded. Usman is the best!

I've dealt with these guys off and on since 2004. They done installs on 9 of my vehicles and sold me quality equipment at great prices. They are all great guys who know their stuff and can do some really quality work. Haven't been there in a while but don't hesitate to go in and see these guys and you won't be disappointed. Best to all at KatyKar.

I brought my prowler in because I had zero sound after I purchased just a few weeks back. An aftermarket stereo was installed by previous owner. I didn t know what to expect and thought my amp blew and would maybe need replacing. The owner there got me in and out very quickly and fixed my sound! They seem to be very reasonably priced and took care of me. I would defiantly recommend. The issue turned out to a minor fix and while he could have probably said anything he wanted -he didn t and was fair.

Really confused, they do LED lights, but when I asked for the wiring harness to convert from HID to LED, he told me they don't carry the harness.. I asked how they do the conversion and I didn't really understand his response.I may be wrong, but I think he thought I was only trying to buy an adapter and figured it was a waste of time because two other customers were there.I actually wanted some more LED bulbs and wanted to discuss the stereo purchase and install as well as backup camera installation/ repair and book an appointment if possible.But they don't carry adapters or harnesses to convert HID to LED. All the other places do that are further in Houston, but I live in Katy and didn't want to drive out there.. it just sounds a bit off.Just a respectful comment and cannot critique any work from here because I had none done.3 stars, I felt a little brushed off, I could be wrong, but who knows.

I would give them 10 stars if I could.Costumer is BEYOND amazing, I went in for one window tint (which looked PHENOMENAL) and came out with new speakes, and ever so happy.They go above and beyond!They will have my business for a very long time.

Katy Kar Audio did such a great job on an installation of a blue tooth ready wired CarPlay car stereo, microphone, and back up camera. There were many products to choose from and the sale team were very helpful. The install looks like the factory installed. I m super happy. Thank Katy Kar Audio.

I would give these guys above and beyond 5 star for their service helping me to install my dash cam using hardwire. They started to process as soon as I arrived and done in less than an hour, but I my fault for leaving the camera at home charging, so I had to go back the next day and found out the cable came with the device was bad , they they had to figure out using a different cable at no charge. Very friendly people and efficient.

What i can say, fast, competent, honest. They install my chineese radio putting running like a champ. If you want car audio job well done at honest price go to this shop.I went in other one shop in Alvin (close to my work) Extreme inc) and this shop charged me 370$ to tell me that the unit didn't fit my car and proposed me 900$ to buy and install other unit and they broke my hazards light switch. KATY CAR AUDIO installed the unit, rear view camera and everything work. They are really honest and reliable peoples. Also one more cable was required and they called me before proceed. I really appreciate that.

Looking for a great place for car audio tint or anything like that don't look any more this is the place super friendly and willing to work within you're budget doesn't feel like they're trying to get rich off you super good prices!!!!!!!

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. This shop is the absolute worst shop on the west side of Houston. I had decided to come by and take a look on a price to get a Viper 2 way alarm system installed. The alarm system he was trying to sell me is a $174 on Amazon when I showed him after a price quote of $500 to have it installed that I could get it for $325 less online he straight up and looked at me and told me to buy it online and he'll install it for $300. The install I know for a fact without even doing remote start only takes about an hour to do so he was trying to charge me $300 an hour to have it installed. If you're thinking about having work done here, run away!

Great stereo speakers an seriously radio yes going back for a big fat sub-Woo F "er"The sound is perfect to 50 full volume But it's all Bout Da bass..Came back 2 days later and got a 12" kicker sub sounds amazing nice work The prices are a bit high But the service was good

Year and half ago went in there to ask him how much it cost to put in four speakers, two subwoofers in their own boxes and two preamps in the trunk of my 66 mustang. He told me about $350. Now he tells me $1,000. Come on folks nothing's going up that high. Wire hasn't gone up that much I know all too well. I'm a master electrician so what went up his labor? What a piece of work?

I came to get a radio installed for my husband. He s been w/out one for 2 yrs. Based on the positive reviews, I came here. When they tried to start the truck, it was dead. I started panicking!!! The guys told me to calm down they would figure it out. After performing some tests, they figured out it was a bad fuse. They replaced it on the spot. I m sitting in their comfortable lounge waiting for my truck to get done. Yes... I m writing this review BEFORE I even see the finished product. If their skills are as amazing as their customer service, I already know I will be thrilled. Listen people: if you want GREAT SERVICE for an AMAZING PRICE look no further. I promise you will not be disappointed. These are my installers FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The prices are good, selection is decent. I have done 5 audio installs here in the past 10 years. And 1 alarm. With each install I had little to no problems. The complicated installs that did have issues they were quick to work on a fix, they always offered refunds to me if i was not happy. Each time I passed on a refund and worked with them to figure out and fix the issue. Once again today, install completed, very happy with the outcome, staff, and price.

I heard good reviews about this place and needed someone to take an amp out of my car because I'm selling it. They told me to bring it on by no appointment necessary, and they got it all done in very little time at a fair price. Very personable owner and excellent service. I couldn't be happier with my experience here and will be taking my new truck here to install a stereo soon. No more geeksquad for me. Check these guys out.

The shop is conveniently located next-door to O Reilly s auto parts. I wanted hi-intensity high beam replacement LED lights & fog lights on my 2005 Lexus SUV which they came through with flying colors, quickly installing them as I relaxed in their waiting room. I am very pleased with their knowledge of their products, ease of installation and repeat sales - very friendly people.

Too expensive it was such an abuse. When I went he had told me it would be $190 for an alarm, and I agreed. When he started working on my vehicle he had raised the price to $340 for a Prestige alarm and because he said i was missing a certain part, and online the alarm costs only $40. Then I went to another location and they did the whole job, adding a certain part and alarm, for $190. So yes, I'm not a customer because you wanted to steal my money by overpricing.

This is a great store. They were all very nice and had no rush into explaining what is the best option for myself. They are a store which will help you get what you need accordingly with the amount you want to spend. Amazing job on my car and I will certainly be back!

Al, and the installers were great. I was treated like family. Great prices, and very personable. Would highly recommend.Update. I went back a second time. They installed sound deadening to my trunk. They were the best price on labor, and excellent service again.

My navigator screen was busted and Nissan wanted to charge me $$$ to replace it when I told Al I had purchased the broken part of my Nissan navi he said he could do it for a great price. When I brought it in I was in and out in 30 minutes my navigation looks great and I was very pleased all for a great price! I could not recommend a better place the this one. Good, kind harder, helpful staff.

Went here yesterday to add a subwoofer, great customer service they gave me options on what I could put on my 2019 Accord, the installers did a great job. Now I have the bass that the factory system was lacking, highly recommend if your looking to upgrade your sound system, reasonable prices as well.

Amazing service. I bought a radio last month and tried to install it which caused me weeks of trouble with a lot of weird issues. Needless to say I needed help and they installed my radio flawlessly. Very professional, quick service. I wish I could leave a higher review score. I will be telling all my friends about this place.
