I have dealt with David Menjivar a number of times regarding the repair work on several Mercedes and he has been extremely professional and thorough from the initial estimate process to the final delivery while coordinating efforts with the insurance adjuster and myself. The Rear door on the passenger side of my TeslaY had 3 dents, paint chips and scratches. bc some damage were too close to the front door the entire front door needed to be repainted (3 coats) as well. Tesla collision center refused to provide itemized estimate the best I could get from them was a verbal quote $xxx or $xxx minimum . To deal with insurance and Tesla would be a nightmare so I decided to pay out of my own pocket. I selected Katy Coach Works in Houston. They are Tesla certified and their reviews were good. I decided to give them a try but I was still apprehensive about my decision though. I stopped by Katy Coach and got a much lower detailed itemized estimate in less than 30 minutes. They started to work on my car almost immediately.The repair was all done in 5 days.. What a beautiful job they did! The damaged door is now like brand new with no trace of any previous damage. B was the super nice lady who helped to update me the repair. She was very professional and responsive. Overall I had a pleasant experience with Katy Coach and I high recommend them.

My Insurance Company (Geico) asked me to go to Katy Coach Works for estimating the damage which is in under carriage and front trim which is broken. When I went there, Gilbert asked if I have a place in mind to fix it, I said yes I am, he said that they would fix cars too and not just estimating. So I asked him to give me a couple of min. I went to Google to check reviews on them and I found pretty impressing reviews and found that most of the cars they fix are luxurious cars, that helped me make up my mind then to trust them with my Lexus. I was wowed by Gilbert's superb customer service, he would literally call me like every two days to provide me with an update, although he told me at front how long it would take to have my car fixed, but he was calling me to provide me with updates. My main concern was that when replacing the spare part, that my car sensors wouldn't recognize the new trim. Gilbert assured me that they will sync the new part with the sensors. He got the trim from Lexus dealership and the rest of the parts are after market parts. I couldn't tell the difference at all. Excellent job done, my car looks brand new and it is done fixed perfectly well. Thank you Gilbert for the 7 stars customer service you provided. This shop will be for sure my go to for any car work.Service: Body & Trim

I would give them five more stars if they could fix my fat body. I have not used them yet. This place is like a mile from my house. My car did not last 24 hours before getting into an accident. I promise to write a real review without self deprecating humor. There is a good chance i bring my car here. If they can fix my car and my fat @ss, I will be forever greatful!!

Initially I did not receive the service I'm used to... However, they care enough about their business and it's customer's to have contacted me to make it known that they operate at a much higher level than my initial introduction to this business. I am grateful that the general manager is such a professional that I will not only utilize this service but I also highly recommend this business to my fellow Houstonians and beyond.

I had a great experience working with Burcu repairing my mom's Model Y. We've used Katy Coach Works services twice and found them to do a great job. They walked me through all of the repairs that needed to be made as well as the timeline to receive the parts. There were a few issues with the car insurance, but thanks to Burcu's help we were able to come to a fair resolution. I will definitely be back if needed and recommend them for pairs!

Had a wonderful experience from the moment I called them to price out a repair until I drove my car off their lot in much better shape than I had left it just a few days earlier. Since my repairs were covered by insurance, I was initially skeptical in going with the shop they recommended, but KCW put me at ease right away. Their intake team answered all of my questions and made sure I was aware of everything they had discussed with the insurance company. Additionally, they queued up the repairs so they could paint the parts they had in stock while other parts were being ordered which then reduced the number of days my car was actually in the shop. The work they did was top notch, and again, they explained everything along the way. Finally, they washed, polished and vacuumed the car before returning it to me - a great touch. I would definitely bring my car back for any kind of body work in the future, and would recommend everyone else do the same.

Got rear ended to my Tesla model 3 and found this place. They work with Geico unlike other Tesla body shops, the process was very smooth and they explained everything step by step. Customer service was very good, B helped me out and she called me every-time there was an update to my car. At the end my car look good as new and they did a fantastic job cleaning it. Definitely recommend!

These are the folks Tesla goes to when the job is difficult.. Top notch work, super communicative staff.. Recommend to any Tesla owner.. I am a repeat customer and would use them a third time if the situation presents itself..

I had a great experience at Katy Coach Works getting work done on my Tesla Model S. Once I got my car in, they quickly did the body work. I was impressed by the full detail job they had done on the car after the repair. I felt like they took care of my car the way I would.

I have taken my car to Katy Coach for years and they have done a fantastic job each time. I have had many things worked on by their wonderful team, my tires and engine to name a few and the repairs are always done efficiently. Also, my car always comes back to me in even better condition than I left it. They do a great job cleaning inside and outside of my vehicle each time. Everyone I have worked with on their staff has been friendly and made sure I got what I needed done. I was in a particularly bad accident rendering my electric vehicle nearly totaled. Katy Coach works was the only shop in the area with capacity for my car, so I took what I could get and had it towed to them.My my, what a fateful choice that turned out to be.My experiences with Gilbert, who was assigned to my vehicle, were nothing short of extraordinary. Gilbert extensively diagnosed the damage, provided me his cell phone number and would give me multiple updates each week. If I called and he was unavailable, he would text or call after hours to make sure I knew where things stood. He was diligent, communicative, and insightful.The front desk secretaries were friendly and helpful. A nice bonus.The quality of work on my vehicle looks to be high. I had a great experience with this body shop. They were very on point, customer service was a plus. My car was in a bad collision, by the time I picked up my vehicle it looked brand new like nothing ever happened. These guys are great hopefully I will not have to use them again, but if I do this is the place I would come or refer any family/friends too.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a minor hit and run recently, and ended up going to Katy Coach Works to have the repair done. They were excellent! They kept me informed on what was going on with my car, they did a great job on the repair, and they even drove me to the rental place + took the car back when the repair was complete.One other thing I wanted to mention was they had my car done on a Friday before a holiday weekend, so I came to pick it up. I think things got slightly backed up, so the detailing (which I didn't even expect, but was very pleased to have gotten) wasn't entirely complete. They seemed more bothered by that than I was; the car looked great, to me. The gentleman doing the detailing even flagged me down on my way out to express his regret that it wasn't perfect (again, looked great to me, hah). They basically insisted that I bring it back the next week to finish it up, which I did. That was also good, because it gave them a chance to double check a sensor one more time, which turned out to be fine.I'll be recommending KCW to any of my friends needing work done, especially my Tesla-owning friends.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent company, I have nothing but positive things to say. You should feel confident that your Tesla is being worked on by elite professionals. This team of people got my model 3 repaired in record time and you can t even tell that my car was in an accident. Dave assisted me through the whole processes and was very patient with my many questions lol.Your car is in great hands with this team of people, I truly felt like they cared for my car as much as I do.Thank you Katy Coach Works!

Katy rip off workYea, they are more expensive than most of the body shop in town. But if the insurance company pay you be ok. But if not totally covered. Don t even dropped off for estimate.My car got an 7-8 inches dent from some one scrape at parking lot. I dropped off for estimate and want to get it repaired, the 1st payment about $3000 something was wired to Katy coach work after they sent the estimate. But the service rep keep telling me I will have to pay out of pocket will be around $6000+, because the insurance of other party will not covered everything, i really don t want to pay anything, because I shouldn t. So I decided to get my car back.When I get there, nothing has been done to my car yet. The service rep said his Boss was telling him the total I have to pay for the estimate they sent and the Storage fee (5 days parking) is about $3000.So if you fix the car Here you need to pay$6000+ your own, and to just get your car back, you not gonna get the insurance payment that is already in Katy coach work

Grady went above and beyond to ensure that my car looked better than before - not just restored but improved. Grady s attention to detail coupled with the expertise of the service and paint technicians allowed me to be at ease throughout the entire repair process. You want a body shop that will treat your car like it is their own. Katy Coach Works provides this level of service and beyond! 5+ stars

They're a good shop. Body and Paint work was excellent. They reached out to me to get the transmission fluid topped (lost during repair) and also refunded the cost of the dealership diagnosis. Quality control was poor but management did reach out to me to attempt to resolve the issue resulting in basically a dead car. Details- car delivered with 3.5 quarts of missing transmission fluid. Wonderful that Katy Coach reached out to me per unfavorable review but the car is pretty much toast after attempting to maintain it properly all these years. Poor quality control per Katy Coach - but the engine per MB at that time had issues with the valve shaft. 77 K miles. Its really a messed up bag of quality per State Farm, Mercedes Benz and ultimately Katy Coach per workmanship, diagnosis and repair. This is why I always choose quality people to work on anything. It did not work so well this time but I think they're a pretty good shop nonetheless. Keep it to body work then send it elsewhere for anything else. The car was wrong per delivery. I knew that instantly. The check engine light came on at about 8 miles. I notified Katy Coach and brought the car back the next day. A trans code was of issue. Katy Coach let me know they do not do trans work. I then brought the car into MB Sugarland for diagnosis. They suggested wrong radiator fluid was used and a trans flush was appropriate. The dealership suggested the trans flush and coolant flush, and firmware update may resolve the issue at $1,500 USD. State Farm denied the supplemental. I continued to drive the wrongly shifting car for about 2000 miles. Per outreach per Katy Coach works it was determined the car had 3.5 quarts of missing trans fluid. Katy Coach paid for the trans fluid top off or flush repair and the car learned is working well now. I'm not sure if the drag on the engine due to low trans fluid per crash caused the balance shaft to fail but clearly a certain possibility.Services: Transmission, Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Welding

WOW! I was hesitant to take my Tesla in to a non-Tesla collision repaired my Tesla BETTER than Tesla would have....worked with my insurance company and was extremely fast.....one of the best body shops in town, don't hesitate to choose Katy Coach Works.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Fantastic service! They service my 7 year old Cayenne GTS at a fraction of the dealership (quickly) and I could not be happier. They are also nice to provide drop off and pick up. Thanks to David for great work.

These folks fixed my Audi after it was damaged in a parking lot accident. They did great work and it didn't take long. The charges were exactly inline with the estimate and no problems arose. The car came back clean and working well.Based on my first experience, I took my car back to these folks for some more (unrelated) work.

Great place and quick work! I've had to have some minor damage repaired before and they were quick and timely. My girlfriend also needed glass replaced and they were more than helpful in finding the best price and setting up the replacement!

So far very happy with the way they have been handling my claim. Owner, Peter is very prompt and really goes beyond to make sure clients are fully satisfied with the service. He took his time to attend all the my concerns. Also must thank Dave for all his help! Really appreciate the honesty & prompt communications. I will update this review once the claim is done & over with.

We had to have our Tesla worked on due to an accident. Katy coach did a wonderful job. Dave was wonderful about helping us handle the insurance claim, etc.

Be aware there's only about four Tesla certified collision service centers in the Houston area. It's very long wait. At least a few months for serious work. Tesla should certify more repair shops but they don't.

Worked with Gilbert, he took care of everything with my insurance and called me to give me an update when waiting for parts. Fair prices. Would highly recommend. Also took me to the rental Enterprise by there and returned it for me.

This is place will rip off your insurance company! There estimate was so much higher than our appraiser. Then it took about a week longer for the work to be finished. Then after the work was finished the guy would not release our car until he had the actual last payment from the insurance company in hand even though it has already been mailed off. When I saw the repair invoice there was stuff on there that wasn t even damaged in the initial collision. This guy should be sent to jail for fraud
