I went up to Jiffy lube for a state inspection on April 04th, 2024 9:17am. They failed my inspection for my brakes/rotors and told me it would be $450. I came back the following morning on April 05,2024 to get my brakes and rotors changed; I was quoted about a 30-45 minutes wait period plus an additional 15-20 for the one car in front of mine. After he gets a chance to look at my car again he up charged it to $522. I was waiting the whole time they were working on my car and even step outside to get an update and they completely stop working on my car for at least 1-2 hrs. 4+ hrs later I get my vehicle back with a passing inspection thinking it was all finally over til the worst happened. 5 days later on April 10th, 2024 I was driving in the highway and my car wouldn t brake; I had my car for almost 4 years and never had this problem. When I am finally able to get to a stopping point I get out to look and see my back caliber hanging on the brake hose leaking fluid due to my bolts being loose; i m surprised I made it the way I did especially being over an hour away from home. When I finally was able to get in contact with both the store and district manger the following morning they had no level of compassion for the way they risked my life. Even told me that happening doesn t warrant a refund but they are willing to look at my car again without additional charges. When I give them the information on where my car is located they don t contact me for 4+ hours , but when I call to check in they claim to have been calling me to find my vehicle but it was calling the wrong number. Claimed they couldn t find my vehicle so I get the tow company number they used from them and while I talking to the confused tow man they call back saying my car is 20 minutes from the shop. After more hrs past I call an hr before they closed to check on my vehicle and they say yea it ll be ready in 10 minutes you can come down. I go to go get my car and it wouldn t even start and after looking at it for about 10 minutes the mechanic stated verbatim this is beyond our expertise and you would have to take it to the dealership to see if they can fix it after causing the issue. I wouldn t waste my time going to this particular location they don t have common decency for the safety of their customers lives and or their vehicles. I added photos for context as well; if I could give no stars I would.

My car has been leaking oil now for 11 days. I ve called up there, left a message for management and no answer and I am now on the phone with corporate to find out what they re going to do about fixing my car back to normal.It took over an hours for a simple oil change at an empty station. As I stood in the front watching their every move, the guy in the bay had multiple problems trying to put my oil filter on. He then requested help from the guy who looked like the Mgr but never addressed me as so even when I asked James his name while paying and telling him I was unhappy with their service.The bay guy called James down there and they were communicating to like they knew it was a problem. I then questioned James and asked why did he have to take the oil filter off and clean it multiple times? I ve never seen a guy putting oil in the car and he s still trying to put the filter on. The lead guy up top had to wipe it off multiple times as I stood and watched. That was a red flag.James then goes on to tells me there was a preexisting problem which was why they had problems with the filter but told me they got it squared away.I had zero oil drips on my garage floor nor in my parking spot at work before this oil change, now everyday there s more and more oil on the ground and it s gonna get fixed by another Jiffy Lube as per my request before it greatly effects my motor. I won t trust these guys to touch my vehicle ever again.I ve been a faithful member of Jiffy Lube for well over 25 plus years and never before has this happened to any of my four vehicles. I will not be coming back to this facility ever again.Waiting on corporate because I want my car fixed asap.

I always receive a warm welcome from the staff at Jiffy Lube. They are thorough and efficient. They keep you informed of what may be required or needed for up to date maintenance. Best of all you are not waiting for hours for service to be completed

I went to get my oil change and I have to say, it was the most pleasant oil change experience ever. The crew were extremely nice and informative. I learned a lot! I felt like we became friends. They all seem to care about the condition of my car and gave me the information I needed to know for the future. I extremely appreciate the following guys James, Colt, Derrick and J, for all your hard work. Today was busy but they handle so well with a smiling face and great attitudes. Just loved it! I brought a fleet vehicle for regular maintenance. I told the service technician wearing over the ear noise cancelling headphones that my vehicle also needed a State inspection, which you are able to get at any time of the year( fleet management companies request this done ahead of time to perform registrations) I was told the tech didn t hear me. Another tech came and lied to my face, saying they could not perform a state inspection as it wasn t due yet, this is a Lie. I overheard this lazy bunch speaking on how they didn t wanted to have to scan my vehicle again. I would NOT recommend, avoid this place if you are seeking any type of professional care. This location is managed by Premium Velocity Auto. My interaction occurred at 12:43PM on 1/3/24, just in case management cares to review footage and witness first hand how lazy unprofessional techs turn business away.*** Update*** I reached out to the email provided on response to this review 1/3/24 as whoever replied to this review requested. As of 2/6/24 I have not been contacted back, or received any further response. I will proceed with my BBB complain , as it seems to be the only way to get accountability from businesses now days.

Totally unhappy with the service. I've never heard of an inspection company failing a car due to a crack in the serpentine belt. Then wanted to charge me 160.00 to replace it. He ran my card quickly pressed credit, then signed for me. Ummm I didn't think I've ever seen a business ran like that. Like how do you decide how I will make my payment, then turn around a sign for me. It's giving scam and money pit. Don't plan on going back. Also they was trying to tell me that all my breaks needed to get done. But actually last week my husband who works on cars just put new break pads on my car. Thanks, but no thanks.Update: I would really love for someone from corporate office to reach out to me ASAP.

This was my second Jiffy Lube at eight in the morning because the Person who does inspections was running late at the first one. They were very efficient at this one and very professional, and understanding that I had a time constraint. They were able to deliver what I needed in a very timely manner. Good job and thank you.

This place is a bit shady. When getting an inspection they told me they had found issues with my vehicle. I told them would take of that the week after due to time.A week later, when I came to fix the issue, they said they would and found other issues. Made me truly doubt the initial inspection and their need to upsell for commission. Buyer beware.Nice staff but interesting practices

I stopped here for an inspection since the Memorial location wouldn't give me the time of day. I was forced into a serpentine belt replacement to pass the inspection. Understand that I asked the gentleman who recommended it if it was required to pass, and he said, "Yes."I followed up with DPS, and his response was patently false. The belt is not part of the state inspection. I would avoid this place based on the dishonesty they exhibit.

I would give a 5 star but they told me drive out the bay garage after a brake change. Almost wrecked pulling out with incoming car and 0 brakes. They didn't pump the brake after the brake pad change n brake flush. Emergency brake, and brakes didn't work at all, had to toss the transmission into park in the middle of the rd.

Before you take your car in there to be inspected, take pictures of your wipers, tires, lights, serpentine belts, etc. They will tear your wipers for a commission boost, and they will fail a serpentine belt if it has a crack in the ribs (PICTURED - which, after talking to the DPS on the phone, is against the Texas DPS Chapter 11 guidelines).Now, my belt was inspected at another, more reputable place, by a mechanic, and they said it was a good belt. My wife and I will from now on take our three cars to ANY competitor for all services, until that staff is retrained by the DPS on how to inspect cars.

I went in for an inspection on a Sunday morning. It was kind of busy and I had to wait about an hour. The office was clean but very stuffy until they turned on the ac. The workers were friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I would visit the again if I needed to..

I am an Architect & a Commercial Real Estate Broker. This is probably the cleanest and most impressive facility I have ever seen for Auto Service in Houston. Waiting area was very comfortable and well designed with full view of the shop. The equipment they used was unique to me and very impressive. Manager's behavior was outstanding. Location was also very well selected. I live little far from the location. There are many other Jiffy Lubes close to me. Accidentally I discovered this. Because I was not finding the oil and filter necessary for my Mercdes in any other locations. I am glad it happened and I am sold out to this place.

If I could give no stars I would. Unfortunate that all I needed was oil change and then I got charged for windshield wipers that were $100!!!! And more other charges as well. Wow I m in financial situation that has hurt me. Total was 175 when it was only 50. not going again, they have the urge to upsell things not needed and put it in anyway.

I was skeptical about taking my practically new car to Jiffy Lube but my money didn't say Dealership this time..lol so there I was . And boy did I make a Good decision! Colt and his team were courteous, chilverous, professional and efficient. Showed me my fikters and everything. I was very please with the service. And they will be my go to from now on.

I came here for oil change yesterday morning and engine light and stability control light were on after that. I came back to ask for help and find out the reason but they said they didn t have the machine to check. After all I came another shop and knew that Jiffy lube did oild change, checked my car and they forgot to put this tube in. That made the light come on. I just want to say that.. PLEASE DO YOUR JOB CAREFULLY. Customers spend money and time on Jiffy lube, PLEASE MAKE US FEEL WORTHY!!!!Service: Oil change

Went to this location because it was close by at the time. Needed one of my headlight bulb changed and he told me it would be $15.99. Noticed he rang me up for a fog light change instead which I didnt ask for and charged me $38. More than double. Wish I spoke up at the time but didn't. Its not alot of money but it's shady business ringing me up for a service I didnt even receive.

I came in today for a tune up and James was very nice and helpful! And they were very reasonably priced. I had visited 2 nearby auto shops and they were charging outrageous prices for the same work. They finished the car pretty fast and also advised me on additional work and parts that needed to be fixed on my engine. Which we got all the work done in one day. Hopefully the mechanic who works there did a good job so I won t have any further problems. Highly recommend this place.

Took my 2015 Lexus GX suv there today. Friendly staff, great service/communication. Prices were reasonable as well. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.I've been to this shop multiple times now. This customer experience has been consistent over time.

Employees were alert, attentive and seemed happy. Last visit in one of the employees was asleep in his car outside, and when I went to the office, I had to wake up the person inside but this time very nice.
