Amazing guys! They swapped my H23 motor and we were able to work out all details from great communication! Prices were honest and you don t need to worry one bit! These guys got you covered ! I highly recommend from a local houstonian !

He is REFUSING the warranty on the vehicle!!! Refuse to have it picked up and worked on after engine LOCKED!!! Stating I have to take it to another mechanic to show it s the engine

Very thankful for these guys, exceptional service over the years. Have bought quality parts time and time again. Thanks to them ive been able to get my cars running right and even better than before. Personally vouch for his motors. If theres a guy to buy JPM motors from itll be this shop. Very professional and guaranteed. Need a motor or components ? Go to them. Great selection for many makes and models. As a car enthusiast they have pointed me in the right direction without fail. Fair price and reliability

Shawn is very knowledgeable when it comes to Japanese engines. I have a 2001 civic ex 5 speed manual transmission with 340,000 and after shopping around for an engine, he had the best prices and warranty available in the town. He gave me 12 months or 12,000 miles warranty. The work was completed within a week and the car runs like new. Great work. I ll definitely recommend this shop. Thank you ShawnService: Engine repair

Shawn is a true professional! He performed an engine swap on my vehicle, and was able to do so at a very fair price and reasonable time frame. He was very communicative, always texting me updates at every step of the way so that I always knew what was going on. I will certainly be referring him any chance I get, and will be back if I require any other work done. I wish every shop was like this!

I went to Japan Auto to get an engine overhaul job done on my 2004 Toyota Camry. The owner, Shawn, was very transparent throughout the entire process, clearly outlining why certain expenses had to be made. I got the car back in about a week with no problems at all! Overall, Shawn was a great guy and I would recommend his auto repair shop to anybody having issues with their automobile.

Shawn (the owner) is so sweet. The first time i did business with him, he drove me to the rental car company! The second time i did business with him, he stayed late to make sure i got picked up ok. The prices are reasonable and they KNOW what they are doing! I don't know where i would be without japan auto engine!

I had the motor replaced in my Honda Civic they was very professional they explained the whole process from start to finish they did it in a timely manner I am totally satisfied with the results I would highly recommend them.

Japan Auto Engine does GREAT work. The owner Shawn was both personable and professional and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work performed and service that I received. Shawn invited me to visit his shop before taking my vehicle for an engine replacement, which I did. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility as well as how knowledgeable he was about the proposed task. I was given a written estimate and a proposed schedule of completion (to replace the engine in my 2012 Nissan Murano after it overheated and blew the head gaskets), which both came pass as stated - actually my final cost was a bit below the estimate. I would highly reccomend this shop to anyone in need if quality, dependable, professional powertrain repairs. Thank you Shawn for the stellar service. #JAPANAUTOENGINEISTOPSHELF

Sean fix my 2007 accord in three days put a new engine and warranted his work for 1yr or 12000 miles. Pretty straightforward guy from the beginning to the end his price stayed at the same even help me out with a couple things if you want an honest mechanic he s your guy trust me thanks again Sean

Professional and affordable, i have been going Shawn shop anytime my car needs a tune-up or fix up. I know there are a lot of mechanics out there who will diagnose the problem without even looking and charge your arm and a leg, but Shawn will diagnose and give you his honest opinion.

Great experience with Japan Auto Engine. My 99 4runner had a blown headgasket at 285k. I decided to replace the long block with a JDM engine instead of just fixing the head gasket. The owner, Sean, was always quick to reply to text messages and the prices for his engines and shop labor are reasonable. He keeps a clean shop and I had them do the install. While the engine was out Sean honored my request to do a few more maintenance items that needed to be done. I purchased the parts and his mechanic installed them while the engine was out. My vehicle took longer than expected due to an electrical issue unrelated to the motor install. I would certainly recommend this shop if youre in the market for a JDM engine.

Called in few weeks before dropping the vehicle off, I have a 1997 Honda Odyssey with a blown engine, fixing the van because most of the parts that s on the vehicle worth of $4000++ so why not I spend a grand or two. First estimate was decent and affordable but ask the owner if I can bring my own parts since I work with oRyll. With no problem he deducted the parts from the estimate. As soon all the money and the parts together I towed the vehicle to his mechanic shop and he confronted me up front that the vehicle will be ready in two weeks because there s more job ahead of me. And after that he described every details everything I need to know about the job and warranty short story, fall in love with this place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs big job for JDM automobile.Two type of people that willing to write reviews, REALLY PISSED ONE or REALLY HAPPY ONE. You can tell I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER OTHERWISE I WONT BOTHER WRITING A REVIEW. Thank you

Great experience her with a new JDM engine for my daughter s Camry. Shaun is very straightforward and writes everything down that he is going to do or needs to be done. No nickel and diming. Honest guy and does everything he can to do his best work.

My car engine overheated, I chose to bring my car here. He could not have done a better job. Fantastic owner, kind and not trying to nickel and dime you. Very fast service. My car is running better than ever! Will return! Come here!
