This place is horrible I ve been having the worst experience with this place. They ve had my car for over 2 months and has been giving me the run around and lying to me. I ve been hearing the same story for over a month in a half. Leo doesn t answer my phone calls and lies to my wife about my car being ready. I have a job and kids. This is ridiculous. I have a one year warranty and he s been holding my truck for 2 months like he s waiting on my warranty to go out. I spent $6500 !!! For a rebuilt transmission and engine for it to go out on me within a freaking month. My business with you guys are done.

I really wish I had read the reviews before having a car towed here. Long story short. DO NOT COME HERE!!! nothing good will happen. And the guy you speak to on the phone the "owner" is never there. I had a mazda stop going in reverse last week. It belongs to an 18 ur old girl I was helping. We get the car towed here, and they say transmission is no good. $2300 to rebuild and $1800 to replace. This was Friday. I let them know I didn't have the money and would pick up the car. I asked him to park the car out front with the key under the seat for towing home on Saturday. The guy on the phone said "I'll see what I can do. Call back at 2:30" Well the close st 2pm on Saturday. I send a tow truck on Monday and call to let them know. The owner said "How are you gonna pay the diagnostic fee". I asked what is the diagnostic fee because he said there was none. he said "ok, I'll bring it out front" The tow truck Dispatch calls me and says they won't release the car so I call him again on 3 way and he says "their gonna give it to him now" and hangs up. The driver left without the car. my husband goes over there today in his work truck (he's a diesel mechanic, but doesn't know alot about transmissions) He walks in and says I'm here for the Mazda and the man in the front immediately says "Idk what you're talking about, you need to call the owner" I go back and forth with the owner on the phone (because he's never there) and he says I'll tell them to give it to you. Then the guy at the shop says "I don't have the key to the gate" The owner will be here in 30 min or you can come back. My husband let them know he was not leaving. I then call the owner 30 min later and he says he'll be there in an hour. My husband goes back in and says he is not gonna play around all day and if they can't fund the key he can cut the lock. They then produce a key and release the car. The same tow truck company comes back and says that these people are rude and horrible. He's also a mechanic, looks at the car and says the transmission does not need to be replaced. It needs to be flushed and fluids changed because the car is 17 yrs old. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!

Warning!! Stay away from this place. We had a motor put in around 2017 and had to take it back at least 7 times. I'm writing this review now, because I'm having engine work done again. The mechanic shop has found numerous parts that didn't belong on the engine. JC transmission just patched things up. I was skeptical from the very beginning, now my assumption has been proven. JC transmission is a rip off. You will NOT receive quality work from this shop!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This place was horrible. I took my vehicle there for transmission repairs. I drove off the lot and immediately had the same problems as I did when I brought it in. Glen was very rude after receiving money for repairs. I felt uncomfortable leaving my vehicle based on how Glen behaved. The owner reassured that nothing would happen to my car and if it did then he would take full responsibility for it. When I finally came back to get my vehicle, I had damage to my rear passenger door with a rear tire plugged. The owner said he would take care of it only to still be waiting for them to do so after a year. Vehicle still doesn't run properly and more so, the Owner is not a man of his word. I would never go near this business again. They are not honest people. The next step is reporting this business to the BBB. THIS IS RIDICULOUS...

Came here to get my transmission rebuilt and instead got a junkyard transmission. Then somehow all of a sudden need an alternator like they took it out and put in a junk alternator on top of it so they could get more money out of me. This was confirmed by another mechanic shop. I'll never go to this place again!

I bought my car from here over 2 years ago (2019) and when it was time for my official plates they told me i needed to have it inspected in order to receive it.... got the inspection & went back (over 7 months ago) to leo telling me that he would see where they are and that they were gonna be in by the next week... (which they never were) i call every week to see where they are and all he says is he s gonna see what s happening or he will try to have them the next week.... MOST OF THE TIME HE DOES NOT EVEN ANSWER OR SENDS YOU STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL.... so if he does answer i tell him that i need my actual plates because the paper tag is expired he tells me to come get a new one in the meantime which happened over 6 times and not to mention that i don t stay near there ... I PAID FOR TAX TITLES AS WELL AND STILL HAVE NOTHING..... this is top of the line unprofessionalism and uncanny....Update: October 2022The car is not running anymore, still no plates, titles, nothing . mind you i made this review over a year & a half ago

This place is trash. They" fixed" my transmission, since then it's been back 3 times with in a year. The last time they said it was something electronic and said they wouldn't put my transmission back in until I bought the part or they would have to charge me the full amount to put the transmission back in.......DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. WORST DECISION I MADE.

Glenn and Leo the owner are liars and crooks. Took my car to the Transmission shop to supposedly get a rebuilt transmission and torque converter job done. They gave me the run around about my vehicle for a month and a half. After I paid them $1900, the very same day I picked it up from them, car wouldn't go in reverse and change gears. Glenn stated that it was no longer his problem. Took it to another transmission shop so they could tell me the clutch is gone. Please don't ever patronize this establishment!!!

Took my 06 Ford Taurus in for some work. Had several things done. The people there are very friendly. The amount of time my car was in the shop was very reasonable. They worked with me on getting ne the best deal possible. Thank you Glenn and Leo for wonderful service.

I am having the same issues with my plates!!!! Bought my car over a year ago and no plates as of yet, same situation as others on here! I was asked to get State inspection done which weird! I had done brought the paper in on November of 2020, here we are March 2021 and still no plates and no one ever answers. Does anyone know if anything can be done legally?

This has been a horrible experience!!!This has to be the worst transmission shop in Houston. These guys are very unprofessional and are not true authentic mechanics. They tried to over charge us on some work we had recieved on our vehicle. To make matters worse they could repair the vehicle in full so we had to pay 1500 and still have the vehicle towed to another repair shop! Listen closely!!! Do Not Patronize this place or give them your business!!! It will end up being a costly mistake!!!!

I took my truck to this shop Good Friday weekend. I was called the following Thursday to come pick it up. I had to turn around and take it right back. Trick still doing the same thing itv was when I took it to them. Between Good Friday weekend I June 15th I took my truck back 4 times. Then on June 16th Leo claimed he got a rebuilt transmission. Soi took it back again that day and pick it up June 22nd. I texted and called Leo advised my tru k was still doing the exact same thing as before. So enough is enough. Received a quote to change seal on transmission on Saturday $450 rear seal out the door. Set up to pick on on today. Called this morning to schedule pickup and how long the job . Glen said it will be ready Thursday. Wrecker truck gets to the house and now is $1550 and he won t be able to push the car in and out the shop everyday? Bad business!!!

I took my sons car to jc transmissions service to have the motor rebuilded Glen and leo was so nice and the customer service was excellent ,my son was very happy with his service. I have 2 more cars that need service work done.I appreciate the professional service I received on 8/1/19.

My boyfriend took his car 3 times and everytime we took it back it kept stoping come to find out it was a sensor which is something that is simple to fix but instead they kept halfway fixing it just so it could run until he got off lot with itService: ElectricalService: Electrical

Glenn is a crook he will steal from the customers and the shop... don't trust a word he says he took $1,700 cash from his previous job and has plenty outstanding warrants for his arrest !!! BEWARE

Left vehicle there for engine repair. Engine was repaired. Got it back with a messed up radio and a dead battery, both of which were in good condition when we dropped it off.
