Andre was straight forward. The rim curb rash was repaired in less than 2 hours. The cost was reasonable- limited down time and ok results. So i thought. Upon closer inspection, the hyper dark gray was not blended or matched as well as desired for the cost. I understand to do this is a difficult task. The tech is outstanding and with skills- an artist. Several have said this rim is difficult to match. In my opinion, the short turn around time is not advantageous to the quality of a powder coat for this wheel.

So, this past Saturday night, I hit up Washington Avenue with some friends. Things were going great until someone cut me off and I ended� up smacking a curb pretty hard. Result? Two bent wheels and some messed-up suspension on my car.Wanting to tackle all the repairs at once, I started calling around to different wheel repair shops. But to my dismay, most of them only focused on fixing wheels. Frustrating, right? That's when I got in touch with Tracy at (Houston Wheel Repair). She informed me that not only do they handle wheel repair but also offer mechanical and additional services.Deciding to give them a shot, I dropped off my car and was provided with a free loaner car. Admittedly, it wasn't the fanciest ride, but hey, it got the job done and saved me some gas money. You know what they say-beggars can't be choosers.Two days later, I got my car back, and I was pleasantly surprised. It drove even better than before I handed it over to them. Tracy and the team at HWR really took care of me and my car. Plus, they managed to fix everything for less than my insurance deductible, saving me some hassle in the process. All in all, a pretty smooth experience considering the circumstances.

Their response? "Come on in, we've got you covered!" And boy, did they deliver! Within the blink of an eye (okay, maybe a couple of hours), my wheels emerged from their ordeal looking like they just rolled out of the factory.Tracy and Jimmy, the unsung heroes of the automotive world, wielded their magic wands (or wrenches, who knows?) with finesse and flair. They didn't just fix my wheels; they gave them a new lease on life. So here's to you, Tracy and Jimmy, the knights in shining overalls, the saviors of scratched-up Teslas everywhere. Thank you for restoring my faith in curb-adjacent parking!

I brought my wheels I bought from someone to be painted and fixed the curb rash from the previous owner. Not only did they lose one of the hub centric rings but also painted over the other ones making them impossible to take off. As well as having the paint chip off all the wheels. I took it back to them for their warranty which in reality you still have to pay to fix their mistakes but at a slightly discounted price. And they still managed to make my wheels paint chip all over the place. Do not bring your vehicle to them.

Tracy and Jimmy presented me exceptional experience at the shop recently when I needed urgent repairs on my wheel. Not only did they diagnose the issue quickly, but the repair was done efficiently and to a high standard. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making sure I was taken care of throughout the process. I was especially impressed by how they managed to handle my situation on such short notice. The service exceeded my expectations, and I left feeling grateful and relieved. Huge thanks to the team for their hard work and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

Listen this place is awesome , great customer service fast service , in and out depending on what service.. for me I ve been here more than a few times for curb rash because me and curbs just don t get along , but this shop save me every time !! Ask for Jimmy , he work with you . Rates are affordable. 10/10 I recommend.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! I own a repair shop and delegated 13 wheels to this place for repairs and repaint. 8 of those wheels were 3 peice wheels where the face is bolted to the barrel of the wheels. 12 total bolts were missing upon pick up. The paint had so much dirt in it from all the dust and debri surrounding his shop. Pictures provided for clarity. The owner refused any accountability. He did not come through with the work that was promised in our initial discussion. Still demanded $1800 in cash and no other form of payment; afraid of us stopping the charge for not completing work. Threaten to tow away one of the customer vehicles we left with him for wheel repairs if cash isn t brought to him that day after entrusting him with the car and the other wheels for a month. Patiently giving him the space and time to make it right. He does not care what you think doesn t want to hear your thoughts or reasoning. He s unprofessional obnoxious and disrespectful. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND MKNEY AND GO TO A REAL PROFESSIONAL. My biggest mistake was giving these guys a chance and now they won t get a single wheel for repairs from us or any of our clients again. Henry the owner is rude and mean to all his staff without accepting any accountability of his own as leader and owner of his business. What a shame! I should have checked his reviews before doing any business with Houston Wheel Repair. Very very upsetting. Will be filing a complaint with BBB.EDIT: they lost all my wheel locks for the car I dropped off to them. And to make matters even worse after taking the other wheels to discount tire to check them on the balancer to see if they are repaired properly they show to be even worse than before.

Paid almost $1600 for blackout. Completed on 12/30/23 and was peeling off less than a week later. I was then told that it's peel(able) paint. Which was never disclosed to me.Read the reviews thoroughly. Very unprofessional and if you re expecting them to take accountability, hang it up.Tried to allow them to rectify the issue and all I was confronted with was warranty can repair it. A warranty that is not in writing or anything formal for a consumer to review. No loaner with warranty claims and warranty claims are only done Monday thru Wednesday. If you can t come on those days or pay for a rental, tough luck. Even though the issue is on their business.The tech painted over my blind spot indicators. The turn around time was awful. The service was awful. The loaner vehicle was filthy. All in all, my rating is 2/10.Unlike others, I ve filed a petition with small claims court for a full refund. And also should you decide to sue, mention all business names, Houston Wheel Repair and the name on the receipt any other title you ve noticed to ensure they are served.As proof, just scurry through the reviews and take note that only the good reviews get responses. Lol, a complete joke.

My experience with Houston Wheel Repair was unfortunately not a positive one. While the initial response from their team was good, the service did not meet my expectations. Prior to visiting, I had seen numerous reviews and video testimonials praising their color composition and matching capabilities, which influenced my decision to travel a significant distance (50 miles) to seek their expertise in fixing curb rash on my wheels.However, my disappointment began when the color applied after the curb rash repair did not match my wheel's actual color (it was lighter). I promptly brought this to their attention, and I was assured that the color would darken within 48 hours. Regrettably, this did not happen as promised.As a result, I had to return the following week to have the issue rectified. Unfortunately, during this visit, the situation worsened. Their attempt to darken the color through spray painting resulted in an uneven application, leaving noticeable patches all around.My overall experience left me completely disappointed. If they were unable to honor their warranty or guarantee, it would have been more preferable for them to communicate this upfront rather than attempting repairs that ultimately worsened the situation. I hope my feedback serves as a means for improvement for the team at Houston Wheel Repair.

This facility messed up my Lexus rim. I came with a small curb rash, they ended up brushing more of the metal off in one section of the rim and then the polished area is very noticeable, they didn t apply any clear coat and even spread the shaving past the damaged area, I didn t even have the energy to go and return to this facility to follow up with their work they did after reading reviews from other customers and their bad experiences also, just an overall horrible experience and poor outcome on my rim, ended up paying again to get it repaired and machined at dealership, they even had to weld and add metal to the rim in the areas that lost density. I will never come back to get anything done at Houston Wheel Repair.

I am very pleased with the service here. They have repaired my bent rims and replaced my windshield. The quality is great and the turn around is awesome.I look forward to coming back! They do more than just wheel repair but they do great body work and I have seen their work firsthand!Tracy assisted me and her customer service was great! She was very thorough and consistent, I appreciated the service and attentiveness! Please ask for her when you come.

I called with a last minute request because the rims on my 2022 BMW X5M got curb rash and Houston wheel repair told me to come on in. I came in and Andre and team took very good care of me. Within 3 hours I had both rims complete and they look brand new. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. Awesome customer service, high quality work, all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back. Thank you Andre, Jimmy and team. I am super happy with the results.

Best curb rash repair on the south side hands down. You won t be disappointed. I drive 40 minutes away just to use there services because I don t trust anyone else with my truck. I even had them paint my calibers red today and they added the Tesla decals. They even sell high gloss tire shine with no wiping which I picked up as well. Ask for Andre, he has awesome customer service and really takes care of his customers.

I couldn't find good place to fix my rim in Houston and finally I found them. I had 2 bends on my wheel and everything was very good with this guys. They were responsible and they fixed it in the right exactly moments as they promised me. Thank you!Drain De Andre & Tracy.

Excellent customer service and care. I brought my wheels to be repaired due to curb scratches. I worked with Andre and had a great experience. The service was performed within a short time while I waited. Andre kept me informed of the progress and ensure I was in/out as promised.

Updated review: I have to be honest I m disappointed. At first everything with the caliper paint service appeared fine. Once I got home took a closer look, there was red paint that had dripped onto the rim of the silver plate behind the caliper (added photos) Even though it isn t noticeable unless you re up close, it s a sloppy job.The real disappointment came when I decided to give them another chance hoping the wheel paint service would be a much different experience, so I went back a few weeks later and had some wheel painting done. After the service, I started hearing some noise coming from under the car. I couldn t figure out or locate the problem so I took it to the dealership to figure out the issue. They found that a wheel only had two lugs nuts/bolts and three were missing from the front driver wheel. I contacted Andre to make him aware of the issue. Then I received a called from Mark who identified himself as the manager and basically blamed it on a possible wheel theft attempt that could ve happened when I left. (The vehicle was parked in a secured garage and never left unintended after that, which I have proof of that and cameras throughout my property) It s disappointing because I approached with a reasonable resolution, which was to be reimbursed for the bill I incurred at the dealership. They refused and blamed it on anything they could. What was offered to me was $34 reimbursement of the $234 bill, which is unacceptable. So now I have no choice but to contact my attorney for a small claims suit for negligence on their part. Luckily I have photos of the wheels prior to the service, recorded the manager call admitting that this has happened previously, and documentation from the dealership where the repairs were completed. I m still collecting more evidence, it s so disappointing but definitely a learning experience on my part.Updating this review so people can simply be aware when having service done here! Take photos before and after if you decide to use their service but preferably go somewhere else and avoid the hassle. Don t be fooled by their 30 years of service .

I looked these guys up a few weeks ago and stopped by to inquire about wheel repair due to curb rash and the alloy fading on my rims. I had a consultation with Andre and he spoke to me about their POWDER COATING service. I decided to go forward and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Unfortunately, I was not able to make my scheduled appointment. Andre was thorough with his follow up and I was able to bring it in and get the powder coating done same day. I'm a more than pleased with the results and I strongly recommend these guys if you are looking to have your wheels powder coated.

Price was higher than others but they offer same day service including while you wait service. Pothole in what is supposed to be parking area. Guy had to wait after picking up his tire because he was blocked by a car on a Jack with the wheel removed. This is a converted old gas station with a mechanics garage. I observed a customer that came in for the Windshield repair portion of the service but was told they were unable to repair crack due to equipment but they could replace the windshield. They have options for loaner cars but I do not know how this works since I have used the while you wait same day service on my three visits.

AMAZING! I annihilated the rims on my 21 Tesla Model S. Houston Wheel Repair made them look brand new. Running my hand along the rims, I can t even feel where the damage was - and best of all, the work was completed in just a few hours! Five stars isn t enough.

Super disappointed with this company, they damaged my M3 wheel during their "repair", they attempted to polish a machined wheel. I was not given options for repairs, just told "We'll take care of it." Did a horrible job with the polish, and scratched the powder in multiple places with a die grinder?! They didn't even give me the option to have it re-machined at their cost, they told me I needed to pay them extra (Ontop of $162) to fix their mistake? I'm suspicious they have bought reviews... Take a look at their yelp before you entrust them with your property. Management refused to take responsibility, and held my wheel hostage until their "service" was paid for.
