I don t write reviews often but Alex and his crew are great, they put my new sling together with new speakers and 10inch fender pods that sounds amazing like he said, there were a few things that needed to get addressed and he didn t hesitate to take care of the issue. It s hard to find companies that stand by their words of customer care. I will be getting more work done in the future.

Alex and his crew are the best.. I dropped my Slingshot off a couple of days later she was ready to go. They got me right for the right price. My lights are on point just like I wanted.. Thank you family

Had an issue with my custom sound system from another installation that couldn t be fixed until I brought it to Alex and DJ at House of Sound where they finally made my sub sound like it should!!! Thanks guys well done! :)

Went to get some LED headlights installed low , high, fog .. had issues with fog lights not coming on during night time. Return to get issues corrected but was told it an issue with switch inside. Didn't have any issues with switch before but now I do . So so disappointing . Now I have to make arrangements to take car to dealership to correct issues. Spent $800 at SCA . So so frustrated

I went a few months ago to install door speakers, a subwoofer, and an amp. I showed up at the time they gave me and the car wasn't ready. After a few hours of waiting around I ask Alex, for maybe the forth time, what's the hold up. He assured me that his best techs were working on it and taking their time in order to make sure the job is done right. On the initial estimate he said they were going to Dynamat my doors and do everything professionally.I had to replace a door today due to an accident and decided to open the old one in order to remove the speakers. There's no Dynamat to be seen and they held my tweeters in place with tape. Nice.

On November 14 2020, I had a touch screen, speakers, and an equalizer placed in my 2016 Nissan Sentra.When I walked in, the place was super busy. Alex made an effort to speak to me while helping others. After a few minutes it was my turn. I told Rick I wanted better sound than my stock radio was producing, and a touch screen. He asked my price range and quickly had a plan.I am sure it was obvious I had no clue, but it never felt like Alex was over selling me.At 11 I left my vehicle and picked it up at 4:30. I never imagined it could sound as great as it does.Today, 20th of November, I went in for an additional service, and was on my way home an hour later.My experience at House of Sound could not have been any better, twice. I am not sure what more Alex could have done to earn my business in the future.In fact, I plan to purchase rims very soon, and I hope to see you there.

Maybe one reason their ratings are so high is because they know how to get rid of negative ones, because my first one is gone. It stated how I got led lights there and one went out before a year even went by. When I took my car back, they asked if they were the aftermarket cheap kind. I said, I don't know, you tell me because I got them here. So they replaced it, both of them supposedly. But I think, just like another customer stated, they try to sell you one thing, but install the cheap version. If you look at my photos, you can see that the led lights barely show up. I literally drive around with my high beams on for safety. I need to take a photo when driving on the highway so that you can see that I can barely see a car's length in front of me. Also, when I had them replace my HID lights with the led ones, they tried to keep my kit until I asked for it back. They are definitely not a trustful business and I wonder how many other negative reviews got deleted.Update: how ironic that 2 weeks after my review and 1 week after the owner's response, one of my lights goes completely out. Second time this one didn't even make it half of a year if they replaced both like they said. I honestly don't know what to say and can't even fathom the excuse that they could come up with this time.Final update: the other "replaced" light went out. Not even a year. Barely over a month as the last one. This is not coincidence or an isolated incident. I've been done with this place. Not saying everything they sell is shotty, but just be aware that cheaper service might end with cheaper quality, and that's not acceptable in reference to safety.

Added 4 speakers, amp and led setup on my new Harley. They did what it takes to get proper results. Excellent install job!

House of sound is the place if you're looking for audio accessories I came here to get a full audio system and they hooked it up. I got me a blow thru and a custom Box for a really low price. They really work with you and make you feel like family like you are part of the family. I went to htown and I went to other audio places and I've been ripped off It got to the point where I lost trust and confidence but when I came here to house of sound they really? Brought back. My confidence and I would definitely recommend my friends and family into this place. They work fast and they make your truck. Look way better than other places and they work with your schedule and it's not long waiting periods. This is the place that I will call the best audio place all the worker and crew are the best very respectful and kind And they accept payment plan I went through a acima and snap finance

Got a bad deal this guy made my radio sounds like it had no basslike a tin can over a thousand dollars down the drain stay away. They might be good at putting speakers on dune buggy anyone can !!

Alex and the crew did an awesome job installing air ride on my slingshot ! Very professional , he even worked after hours to make sure that the job was completed at the time he said it was being I drove 4 hrs to have it installed . Big thanks again to Alex & his staff @ House Of Sound Car Audio

From the beginning to the end, poor communication and faulty equipment. Alex originally told me drop my vehicle off at 9am and my speakers would take a day to finish. So I dropped off and came back at 2pm to check the status and the front desk told me they just brought it back an hour ago. So then why did I need to drop it off at 9am? He then explains it would be ready by 9am the next day. He never said 24hrs and it was only that time frame because they didn t start working on it until 1pm. Fast forward a couple weeks, not once but twice I bring it back because I m having feedback in the radio speakers when I break or backup. Not once did I get a call during any of these issues I had to call them. I eventually took the vehicle back to the dealership where they diagnose and fixed the problem. Avoid this business at all cost. Over price, understaffed, faulty equipment and poor communication.

Alex came to Lake Charles and pick my slingshot up and did a very professional job and he went out his way to make sure I was totally satisfied. Great to the crew and driver that delivered my slingshot. Alex is a man about his business! I am totally satisfied with his service.

This place is a ripoff. They overcharged me for a radio and flawed backup camera that stop working. They refused to replace the camera. They really stuck it to me!

Initially, I paid $600 to get a Viper alarm installed on my truck with a warranty on the work. The first guy I dealt with at the front was cool, (taller Hispanic gentleman), and did a satisfactory job answering my questions. He told me to come back if I had any issues. I had problems with the sensitivity and tilt sensor, so I returned and had to deal with the worst customer service I ve ever had from any business! The first guy wasn t there but this other dude, (a shorter Hispanic guy), was very condescending, rude and sarcastic! I asked him about the installation and he told me he was no expert so he wouldn t know. After having to reluctantly go back and deal with him numerous times, a technician got the alarm working good enough, to where it wasn t going off randomly. Because of the experience I had, I later paid another place to check the system and make sure it was installed properly. I ll never go to this place again. I only gave two stars because at least they had a warranty.

I had an LED kit installed on my Suzuki Boulevard. Alex and Mario provided excellent customer service and were straight forward about the time it would take to get done. The technician did a phenomenal job with the installation and the price was excellent. I highly recommend! We will be repeat customers.

I usually do not spend the time to write a review but Alex really helped me out with my experience. I woke up on Christmas Eve 2021 to find my wheels were stolen off my vehicle. With the holidays coming up, I had no choice but to replace everything out of pocket instead of waiting for my insurance to come out and do their investigation. After spending so much money, I was on a budget to find a reliable alarm system to try to avoid this from happening again and came across this business. Alex sold me an alarm at a reasonable price and got it installed quick. I was so impressed with my experience, I decided to schedule an appointment to get an upgraded stereo on my next check. With me working from home and needing to work more hours to pay for everything, Alex offered to pick up my car from my home and get my radio installed so I could continue to work. 5 PLUS stars for this business and Alex for going out of their way to help me out.

Great team in there! From DJ to Nico to Alex and the guys in the back they get you great service and state of the art quality! The only thing is I was told it would take 2 and a half hours and here it is 4 to 5 hours later. Bad timing!

Alex, the owner has excellent communication and customer service. He was very helpful through the entire process of dealing with an issue caused by the remote start system on my Toyota Tundra. He does not hide behind the scenes like some managers/owners of companies do. He will take the time to get you what you are looking for and make it right if there are any issues. Thank you Alex and staff for working on my truck and continuing to work on it until the problem is solved.I've also spent enough time at this place to see how the staff and Alex communicate with potential and current (returning) customers. I was referred here by Toyota, although hesitant, I'm so glad I was. I can see by this business responses to customers that they want you to have an exciting experience. What they can do to personally detail special effects on your vehicle is something they are also excited to provide. They will take the time to give you the best customer experience. If you leave here unhappy it's because you didn't give them the opportunity to take care of you, because that's what they will do to make sure you and your car are happy to drive and be driven!Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

The guest service was disappointing. I went into the shop and asked for a pricing quote and even offered to leave and have give me a call later as they seemed busy and my need was not urgent. I never got that call. I called the next day and was told I would receive quote within the hour. I received nothing. I went to the store a few days later and the person who helped me did not have any of my information. After starting the process all over again this person seemed inconvenienced by having to take a look at my vehicle. I simply declined and left. Proceed to this location with caution. This could be an isolated situation but I have read some of these reviews and it seems to be a pattern of behavior at this establishment.

I would like to thank DJ and all the crew at House of sound Houston Texas for installation of an aftermarket sound system in my 2022 Indian Challenger. They did an awesome job.Highly recommend this place for Indian sound system.

Niko Was great,he help me get my 1967 Mustang music up and going I will recommend house of sound to any one that needs music in there car. It was a quick install and it was wire properly they are really professional. I will give them 10 out of 10.
