First of all, I didn't receive any benefit from this shop.This is absolutely the best auto repair shop in Houston, and perhaps even in the entire US! After a costly experience at a branded dealer's service center, I became very cautious about where to take my car for repairs. Today, I drove for almost an hour, even took a wrong turn, and finally arrived at this highly-rated repair shop. It was a wise decision! I was greeted by a strapping Texan named Anthony, who patiently listened to my broken English as I described the issues with my car. I opted for a comprehensive inspection of my vehicle, which took about an hour and a half. They check it really carefully! In the end, the owner named Brian even test drove my car personally to ensure it was problem-free. They are genuinely nice people, vastly different from the poor experiences I've had with service advisors at some branded dealer service centers. This shop doesn t push unnecessary services; they simply aim to maintain cars well for their customers. The charges were very fair, reasonable, and transparent. After the inspection, they provided a detailed 15-page report. Anthony and the owner took the time to thoroughly explain the findings and alleviated any concerns I had my car had no issues (they had every opportunity to claim otherwise and suggest additional services, but they didn t). Additionally, the shop is immaculately clean! The waiting area offers great coffee and various snacks, including a children s play area. The restroom even stocks feminine and baby products. Their humane care truly shows they put their hearts into running this repair shop! I am thrilled that Houston has such honest repair shops and businessmen. I will definitely establish a long-term relationship with them and recommend them to my friends.

Let me start off by saying I purchased this vehicle from Carvana, it's a 2011 Corvette Grand sport with 28,000 original miles, and within the first week I had noticed a slight vibration in the body, so I started reading Corvette forms, and one of the issues with the C6 Corvette is harmonic balance wobble , so I inspected and noticed it did have a wobble. The warranty that came with the car is through SilverRock and they sent me to one of their preferred shops ( My transmission and Auto Care Experts ) Katy Texas, I explained to the manager my concerns, let's fast forward 5 days later and this gentleman was trying to tell me that my torque converter and the torque tube needed to be replaced on my vehicle, mind you I had zero transmission issues and he explained nothing was wrong with the harmonic balance although you could see the wobble and serpentine belts were starting to fray, he also told me he put a claim in to SilverRock and was waiting for a claim adjuster to come inspect the vehicle. Several days later I call the warranty company to see when the claim agent was going to view my vehicle, the warranty company had not received any such claim nor sent out a claim adjuster , so I called the manager and asked him why he lied and couldn't be straight up front with me , he told me he needed more time to troubleshoot and diagnose the vehicle, I explained there were no transmission issues, my concern was the harmonic balance, after that conversation I went through that company and location reviews and found for the past 11 months there were no good review, all reviews were one star stating that they were ripped off and or scammed by this manager. The work that was performed to their vehicles was not done correctly or professionally and they would not warranty their work, along with being lied to and finding other so-called issues with the vehicle to rack up the bill. I took it upon my self to pick up the vehicle from this establishment and look elsewhere for a second opinion, I no longer trusted this manager nor the company. I called SilverRock and asked to send me a list of all their preferred shops in my area, ( Honest 1 Auto Care ) came up with phenomenal reviews, so I called and spoke with a gentleman named Anthony which is the manager, he was very knowledgeable and I told him about my previous experiences, he assured me that they play no games and are honest and professional. I took the vehicle up there met this gentleman and took a tour of the shop, it was extremely clean and organized. Mr Anthony took my vehicle and kept me updated each and every day with the progress of my car from what was found when diagnosing and troubleshooting to when the parts were supposed to arrive, to when the parts did arrive. The parts arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, and he said they were going to start working on it immediately, my vehicle was done the following afternoon. The amount of work it takes just to access and replace the harmonic balance is crazy, I have researched and watched numerous videos on YouTube, the vehicle has to be placed on a lift, wheels and tires removed, the whole steering rack and pinion has to be removed, and so much more plus once everything's back together you still have to do a wheel alignment. I would just like to say I would definitely 100% send friends and family to this establishment, and a special thanks to Mr Anthony for being professional and knowledgeable. This day in age it's hard to find a truly honest automobile repair facility, I will definitely be a repeat customer with all my vehicles.

Perfect experience from beginning to end. They were in constant communication with me and verified the issue before doing an expensive repair for nothing. They also offered me the absolute best price for what I was having done, which was replacing my timing system. Will be using for future repairs and maintenance.

I recently visited Honest-1 Auto Care and the team did an AMAZING job! Dana at the office kept me posted on part delivery, vehicle status, and even involved the manager Anthony when necessary to ensure the job was completed quickly at a great price, as well as address more complex technical questions! Anthony and Brian were very knowledgeable and trustworthy! Really fast service and they have a courtesy driving Service to drop you off and pick you up. Combined, we have Honest-1 repair/maintain 6 personal and business vehicles. They are extremely reliable and broadly experienced in what they do. Anthony has been the key communicator in discussing advise, ideas and always willing to give tips if we want to do some of our own basic repairs or some troubleshooting. His integrity and passion for this work shows thru how he gives his customer service. Every person we have ever been in contact with at Honest-1 has been professional and polite and always gives close careful attention. The lobby and waiting area are well kept and it smells great in there. They care all around and pay attention to details. We feel fortunate to have a mechanic shop like Honest-1 close within our community, making it very convenient. We run our own small business and we appreciate the value in the service they offer. We understand that with them (as is for us) pricing is reflective of the quality and integrity of the service they provide. In the end, it holds the most value of what you re paying when you can trust the person whose hands you are leaving your repairs to, while knowing they will stand behind their work. Wow! This place is fast to fix your vehicle. I had to bring in my 2018 Chevy Colorado for a new starter motor, since it didn't want to start. I was expecting to be honest for it to be done until a week or more, like other mechanics I've been to would usually finish around, for a simple thing compared to this. But it just took up to about 3 to 4 days. Which they do let you know around how long it will take for them to work on it, I'm just surprised. LOL. Now, I can get back on the road! Such a great experience! Will definitely come back for any other issues on my truck. Faster than I expected. Great service!

I brought one my fleet vehicles here and I knew it transmission related. They did a rebuild in 2 days along with some other issues the truck was having. Very quick, quality work. Brian and the mechanics are great at what they do. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks so much Honest-1 Auto Care!!

I had no idea that my tires had picked up nails and a piece of wire on the freeway until I turned in for an unplanned routine servicing of my Crosstour. The staff at Honest-1 brought that to my attention, made certain that the air pressure in my tires was corrected, advising me of the situation and recommended that I change all four tires. That may have possibly save me from a serious blow out, a possible accident and possibly saving my life!Thanks guys!

I'm was happy to find this business. The first time I did business here was for registration, but I was impressed with the customer service. Then, I read the reviews which won me over. Sometime it's just the little things, like honesty.

Honest 1 Auto is by far the best auto repair company I have used. I am consistently in awe of their kindness, patience, and integrity. When I have worked with Anthony, he has gone above and beyond to help me make the right decision for my car. He even helped me sort through the details of my warranty. This place is awesome! I had previously taken my truck to the dealer for a bad idle problem I was having. Needless to say they replaced 2 ignition coils. Still wasn't running smoothly. I decided to come to Honest 1. They diagnosed my problem correctly. Replaced a couple bad fuel injectors, spark plugs and wires. And discovered a cracked motor mount. Fixed everything. My truck was done before noon the next day. And rides like new again. This will definitely be my go to place from now on. Great job Anthony and the crew at Honest 1.

I took my car in yesterday. I had several problems with it. They were very friendly and explained everything very well. I honestly don t know prices but I ve been told the price they charged me was very fair. The man in charge, I think he might ve been the owner, also gave me a very good discount. I m happy with the work I received there, and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

5 stars! Was quite a ways from my home neighborhood when my engine decided to break down. Always skeptical of repair shops I checked Google maps, crossed my fingers, and chose Honest 1 because of their good reviews. So glad I did! They easily could have escalated the severity of my repair and I wouldn t have known different but they stuck by their values, gave me the honest truth, and a range of outcomes and scenarios.Truly a family run shop that treats you like family! Plus, they really know their stuff when it comes to engine repair AND can use both technical talk and layman s terms. I highly recommend them for their know-how, ability to deliver, and most of all their customer service.Big thanks to Brian, Michelle, Taylor, and especially Thomas, who really got the job done.

Unbelievable, I just read the response from my Dodge Durango post. A vehicle they misdiagnosed charged me $790+ tried additional tow fees the same day I brought it home. The Owner Brian himself is the one in person tried to get me to pay $215 when I just asked for my keys and Id tow it myself to another location. Anthony the sales mgr is just that, a big ole guy pushy Sales man an thinks he knows it all he did get argumentative on the phone when I called the shop to say the SUV would not start after 2hrs from their repair. And told me I would be responsible for charges.. Why would I pay $215 for your mistakes.. I was CRYSTAL CLEAR the engine never overheated that was another lie from Brian. And why I denied the water pump.. The SUV is running fine now after replacing a $7.99 key fob battery. A1 Never replaced the key fob battery the second lie. I physically bought and changed it myself after the second mechanic recommended it. All in all.. my review stands I wouldnt send my wife, daughter or anyone who doesnt need more then an oil change or tire rotation here. Brian you let it ring 2-3x hung up no voicemail why would I have anything else to say to you or your staff. Do better!

I love this place. I don't feel uncomfortable discussing the needs of my car and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. They've always been forthcoming with me with information and always very helpful. I've been going to them for close to 10 years now. Beware of this place.. they are fast talkers and are part changers they are not mechanics.(SHORT VERSION : charged me for parts that were not required for the vehicle to run. $790 total and didn t start up several hours later after I picked it up .. tried to make me pay for a new starter way priced gouged. $1000.. It only needed a $7.99 key fob battery!)Anthony will probably be the first person to greet you comes off as a jolly big ole friendly salesman you can trust. Went in for a check engine light autozone diagnosed possible spark plug. A few days later called a tow truck to pick up from my house. Tow truck driver was able to start it right away!! He gave me such a good price of $65 I just let him take it. So mechanic shop can double check everything. To start the suv you have to press the key fob against the button because the battery has been low. Anthony tried to quote me $1300-1400 for a single fuel injector, Aux battery , Water pump. I let him know I just need to get it running without the water pump came out to $790.I picked my car up that evening went home tried to start it later that night same issue called Anthony who tried to get me to pay for a tow back up there common sense if I just paid $800 why would I pay for another tow. After arguing back in forth I can only imagine what a female would feel like having to argue with him as he s pushy on being right I wouldn t want my mom or wife to deal with him for sure! Next day I get a call they say oh it s your starter another $1300 quote. Including trying to have me pay $215 for the tow that night.. I called autozone and another mechanic shop a starter for my Durango is $245 plus $105 flagged an hour for labor 3hrs most.I went to tow my suv somewhere else where I had to now talk to the owner Brian who eventually did the right thing and didn t charge me for his $215 tow truck. BEST PART THE ISSUE WAS NONE OF THAT IT WAS THE BATTERY KEY FOB $7.99 that needed to be replaced. Be better guys! I ve since returned the starter thankful to an actual honest mechanic shop
