I have gone here multiple times , and have always revived excellent service. They are to the point and recommend the best course of action for the problem you have : they dont cut corners. I will definitely recommend them to anyone .Edit - 3 years later with still the same workers and honest people . Can't go wrong with them and they will never try to steer you wrong . I will gladly take mine and my friends cars there for good quality work . :)

I highly recommend this shop. I purchased a 2002 LX470 from Matt (works at the shop but is also a licensed dealer) and had them do some work on it before picking it up. Being a 2002 truck, it had some serious wear. Matt did a full fluid flush, along with some other repairs. While they were doing the repairs they found some minor issues and took care of them all, only charging me for the cost of the part. His sale price was very fair and the additional services were at an excellent price. He was open and honest through the whole purchase and I have had no issues since. I have emailed him over and over with various questions and he is always extremely responsive and helpful. The service here is incredible and you will not regret using them. Thanks again for the truck Matt. I love it.

Had misfires in my Nissan Juke and a work friend recommended these guys. Since car break downs are never convenient I had to tow it to them while I was at work. Not being able to arrive with my vehicle made me nervous, but Matt made me feel confident over the phone, and for a good reason. He was able to install my new ignition coil in a day and gave me suggested services but did not try to upsell me whatsoever. Day and night from my last mechanic, their communication style and honesty is greatly appreciated by me. I know I will be coming back to them.

If you are a busy person, then you know how much effort has to be mustered up to write a review. So, that's how important it is to me to write this review. There is another business with a similar name (Hi-Tech) which is not on Schumacher so make sure you are writing a review for the correct business!I have a 2005 BMW X5 V8 and was told by the pre-inspection business that I should not buy this car. Well I bought it! I've put about 61K miles on this car since April 2016. I'm so appreciative to Hi Tec for figuring out how to keep my car moving. I believe I would not have been able to keep this car had I not found them. Even from long distance, I plan my car repairs around my trips to Houston. They are an honest business and they have always warranted the work they've done for me. As a woman, you tend to get the run around and raked over the coals with auto repairs and I've cut my costs for repairing this car by 50% in dealing with Hi Tec. If it's something they recommend should not be done, they will tell you even if it would make them money.Even in emergency situations, I call Hi Tec before I take my car to the shop. I hope this shop stays around for a very long time because they are worth every penny you/I will spend in time and confidence in knowing our cars are repaired properly.The art of customer service is disappearing. So, thank you so very much for the work you do and the niceness with which you do it !

I was not satisfied. The person who answered the phone did not call me back to give me a price on repairs. I could have been a potential customer but when he did not call me back, I decided not to do business with the auto repair business.

So I'll start from the beginning... I had already gone one summer without the AC in my truck and I wasn't about to do it again so I tried a place near my job that had great reviews. I got my truck back with the AC working even though it was a tad higher in price than they said it would be.Within the first week of getting my truck back comes all of the weird stuff. My hazards would come on randomly while driving. When I turn my right signal on, the left one would come on instead or the hazards would come on instead. Then different dash lights would come on randomly and turn off. Me being a worry wart, I would check fluids, when the lights would come on and nothing low. I got an oil change even though it wasnt time and it still kept happening. Then I noticed that my hazards button appeared to be stuck down... so I saw that the steering wheel cover was wedged against it holding it down so it couldnt move so I smaked the cover just enough to shift it to where the button was free. That ended the hazards and turn signal issues but not the icon lights in my dash.So I delt with it a few more months and then it was time for my inspection/registration. I take it to my normal place and they say their computers cannot connect. I was so upset. They said I should go to a dealership and have them try. Well after trying 4 dealerships that couldnt help me because supposedly my truck is a 2006 and their computers only worked on vehiles as old as the lot has been open. Atleast that is what I was told. Then the 5th one that had been open more than 2 decades said they were backed up 4 weeks due to all the flooded vehicles and couldnt get me in. By then my inspection would be past due.I finally got a recommendation from a friend to call Matt at High Tec Auto because she had gotten really good service from him so I tried called them. Long story short, I ended up having to replace my entire computer because the shop I had my AC fixed at had to open my dash and disconnect my computer to fix my AC and then they didnt put it back correctly and it was completely fried!Matt was very honest with me and even showed me on his computer how my truck wasnt connecting yo their system. When he quoted me the price to replace my computer he even gave me the option to call the other shop first before he started work to see if they would offer to fix the issue because that is what Matt and his staff would do had I gotten the AC fixed with them and they had made the mistake but I chose not to for 2 reasons. First I didnt want the other shop to touch my truck again and second, I trusted Matt and felt it was in better hands at High Tec Auto and I was correct. It took a while because they had to order the computer but everything worked out, my truck is driving great and it's inspected!! LolI will only use High Tec in the future and will suggest them to everyone I know!!!

I have gone here for years thinking Mathew and his crew were honest people. It was such a let down finding out by the BMW dealership that bmw's are designed to have an oil change at 6 months or 1 year. I have literally been ripped off on several hundreds if not thousands for oil changes that were not needed and likely not done. I spent thousands on repairs which prompted me to go to the dealership just to make sure Hi Tech is as trustworthy as they claim to be. To my surprise they ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! They smile and fake like their good people all while robbing you blind. The BMW dealership took me to their computer and placed my car key in their computer and literally everything from the color and miles driven to any repairs popped up and was printed out. Mathew insisted I needed repairs and an oil change, my car is fine doesn't need repairs or an oil change. The part that he claims was replaced costing a few thousand dollars, he took my money because the BMW dealership showed me that it was not replaced. This was no mistake I hand Ho Tech's itemized bill in hand, none of which Mathew claims was done was actually done. BMW even was able to show that HI TECH manipulated things on my car to cause issues later thinking I would return to their shop. After all these years a d wasted money I am livid, but karma!!! Actually the dealership is cheaper because they have specials and coupons. So Hi Tech your deceitful ways has caused you to loose a customer.

Brought my Mercedes here for service and they not only did a great job, but also itemized the quote and only did whatever service was needed after checking the car over, saving me a few hundreds of dollars compared to other shops. Great people and trustworthy.

The service is great. They are very attentive, fast, and clear in all the work that they have to do on your car. They ask you every time your permission on every detail which is out of your quote.
