I have been taking my car to the Mobil station for years. There have been times when I questioned the work done on the car, but I have been reassured that it was necessary, and the mechanics have been proven right time and time again. The owners of the shop go out of their way to answer questions and apprise a customer of the work that needs to be done on the car. I find the personnel at the station trustworthy and friendly. If I were creating a shop on my own to which I could take my car, I believe could do no better than this repair shop as it now exists, unless, of course, it would be at no charge for the work done.

As always, Heights Mobil took great care of me and my vehicle! I ve been counting the months until my new car warranty package expires so I could return to maintenance at Heights Mobil. They are SO MUCH BETTER than the dealership. Professional, patient, fairly priced, and great at explaining any problems. Best. Shop. In. Houston.

For the 3 to 4 years I ve been servicing my Impala with Heights Mobil, I ve gotten prompt, courteous service. Kurt head of auto repair is always prompt with his texts and always courteous and thorough in answering my questions whether by phone or in person. All of the staff are great!

I visited this location yesterday for a vehicle inspection. Normally, I get my inspections done on the southwest side, but since I've moved to the Heights area, I was looking for new places. I found this business on Google and decided to give it a try. Initially, I had a pleasant conversation with the clerk inside. However, I ran into an issue with the mechanics when they informed me that my car failed inspection due to my window tint. This was surprising to me because I've had the same window tint since purchasing the car in 2020 and have never failed an inspection before. Additionally, I've brought my car to the DMV without any issues raised about the tint. What was even more frustrating was that they didn't provide any paperwork or documentation to support their decision. When I asked how to proceed to pass the inspection, they suggested removing the tint, which would incur additional costs. It felt like they were either trying to upsell unnecessary services or simply didn't want to pass me. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism in their handling of the situation. I took my car to another location and easily got a pass within five minutes. I would not recommend this location to anyone.Edit:Hi Heather, thank you for your response. I understand the importance of adhering to state regulations for vehicle inspections, and I appreciate your commitment to safety. But please note that I do not have illegal tents on my car due to the fact that I have solar tinted windows that were factory installed by Ford themselves which comply with all legal regulations. So if you actually looked at the product Vin number on my car, you could see that it is certified by Ford but since you don t wanna do your due diligence I understand. However, I want to clarify that my intention was not to imply any wrongdoing on your part but just to state facts. I was simply surprised by the discrepancy between the results at your shop and my previous experiences. I apologize if my review came across differently. I'll certainly take your recommendation to contact DPS into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns.

On 2-23-24. I brought my vehicle in for an inspection/oil change.I was informed that the vehicle needed some minor repairs, in order for the vehicle to pass the inspection, I consented to the repairs.The work was done quickly, and the customer service was exemplary.

I felt like I needed to leave a review for the great service I received, I found this shop on Yelp because of the great reviews and they definitely lived up to the expectations. I initially tried to take my truck to the dealership for a few items that needed to be repaired, I have an extended warranty and everything should be covered. The dealership told me on a Monday morning at 8 am that there were 40 cars ahead of me and they wouldn't be able to even look at it for a week, then it could take another week to actually fix. My horn wasn't working, the parking sensor was glitching and the rear seat screens for my kids were flickering. I called and spoke with Kurt and he walked me through the warranty process and told me he could look at it the next day. I received daily text updates and my car was done in 2 days! Everyone was so kind, and I felt like it was truly a carefree and amazing service. This is how all trips to the mechanic should be, I will be bringing my wife's car here for a repair soon. 5 stars.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Rudest front desk lady ever. One mechanic was ok. The other was a complete jerk, told me they don't have any means to charge my cars battery.. what kind of mechanic shop is incapable of charging a car battery??? Then when they finally put a new alternator in, they told me I would have to buy a brand new battery which was completely not true, I got it tested down the street at autozone and it was 100 percent. These people are straight up jerks.

The mechanics at this place are pros -- friendly, honest, and keeps us updated as they work on our cars. Kurt is also just an amazing and kind guy.We'll always take our cars here first and trust them to give us an honest opinion, which is rare these days!

They did it again. This time with my 2018 Subaru Outback. Fluids, filters and even inspected and replaced the worn rear disk pads. If they keep this up I ll probably have to drive this car forever . ;-). Thanks to all involved

I was directed to Heights Mobil by a friend and they did excellent service. I dropped my car off early in the morning and had an estimate of repair costs before lunch. I was able to have the repairs completed same day and for a very affordable price. I will be taking my car here from now on.

Had to get evaporator core replaced in my Challenger. They gave me an estimate and explained to me the options. They explained the work and how long it would take. They finished the work exactly when they said they would and the work was great!! Nice to have cold air again!! Would definitely recommend and I will be going back for any future repairs.Service: A/C installation & repair

I am going to come back to write an extensive review as they deserve it for their amazing customer service. Good people here if you're debating going with them just do it! You will not regret it. Feedback to some of the lower reviews for those reading through them. I don't know if they are the cheapest but they are worth EVERY PENNY. #1 A vehicle is a true investment and their knowledge, professionalism, communication and speed is money well invested. Dealing with car troubles is not ideal but if you're going to have to tackle car troubles get this crew on your team. #2 They were very respectful and not once did I feel pressured or any kind of negative emotions. Heights Mobil Car Care is the best! Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly, and were very patient with my questions (I don't know much about cars but definitely wanted to be safe on the road). I went in to get routine maintenance for my car to prepare for a long roadtrip, and didn't know exactly what I needed, but James laid out some options for me and their mechanic even taught me how to check my oil while on the road. They wished me a safe trip too. Definitely will be coming back here for any vehicle needs and I highly recommend them--you'll be in good hands!

I came back from an extended trip on my motorcycle to a dead battery in my Jeep! The battery was 4 yrs old and refusing a charge, so knew it was time for a new one.I only use Interstate batteries so I went online and quickly called the nearest shop who informed me they just sold their last one in my size but could have it tomorrow if that was OK. Unfortunately, I needed it now, so I thanked him and called the 2nd closest shop which was Heights Mobil Car Care. They had what I needed and I told the guy on the phone I'd be there in 10 minutes on my motorcycle to pick it up.When I arrived, a couple guys watched me lug the battery up to the front--no one offered a word as to where to take it let alone offered to carry it for me. That's OK--I'm not helpless, but this should have been my first sign that customer service is not job #1.The gal checking in work was busy with another order and getting a mechanic lined out, but once finished told me she'd been asked to "get me into the system". We did this and was ok, but then the wait began.All I wanted to do was give this shop my $200, get my new battery, and go, but unfortunately, there was a steady stream of other customers buying sodas and candy bars that seemed to be much more important than my business. A battery is not a soda, true, but it should not take that long--especially as I'd told them I was coming. The battery could have been set behind the counter and ready to go when I arrived.Eventually, I asked the intake gal working the cash register if we could start the paperwork so I'd at least have the battery paid for and this would help me get on the road quickly (once someone could find the time to bring my battery out), but yet another customer who'd been buying gas (this is also a gas station) needed help so she aborted this work to walk the customer through the state registration & inspection process.Finally, some help came in and asked if everyone had been helped--I said "not really" as a gas customer next to me held up something to buy or whatever. This woman started taking care of the gas customer even though my wait was now over 10 minutes, and counting.Fortunately though, as if by divine intervention, my phone suddenly rang--it was the guy from the first shop--Heights Autohaus! After he'd gotten off the phone with me he went the extra mile to see if he could possibly get the battery I needed delivered today! He told me that he had good news and could have the battery before lunch! So, I picked up my dead battery and left! No one asked why--no one seemed to even notice or care, but Heights Mobil Car Care could learn a few things from this other business.Service: Battery

Heather, Gene, and Kurt are amazing! This is my go to shop for everything. The work is thorough, honest, informative, and the customer service is top notch. Angela the cashier is quick and lovely to chat with. I always leave feeling like a member of the family. I brought my 4Runner into Heights Mobil Car Care for a pretty major 150k mile preventative maintenance interval. Going in, I had a pretty decent idea of what I needed done. They provided expert level and honest feedback, and to my comparison, the prices are very competitive. I will certainly be back, and I d put my trust in these guys to keep your car running well.

Honest and helpful mechanics. No gouging. I've been coming here for 9 years and these guys have always looked out for me as a customer and never uphold or gouged. I've also watched them work with elderly folks on fixed income to help keep their cars going. If you look at the kinds of cars they work on daily you'll probably decide they know what they're doing. I've seen collectible or exotic cars on their lifts almost every time I stop by.

I have used this auto repair place once in the past for an emergency repair but they very well may become my new go to Auto Service Center. Reason being that Heights Mobil Car Care is a very honest shop. What could've easily been a $2,300 A/C repair on my Mercedes (what my regular shop wanted to charge because of a wrong diagnosis) was included in a $200 A/C diagnostic fee. I was so amazed by their honesty I allowed them to replace the radiator (that the tech found was leaking) instead of taking it to my regular European Specialist. The work was fast and very reasonably priced, considering what needed to be done, and the communication was beyond any other shop I have used in the past. The entire staff here are fantastic. I came here previously to just have my oil changed and have come back for nearly all of my repairs and maintenance on my vehicle. Gene even provided helpful advice to be wary of thieves that have been recently been targeting for a specific part on my vehicle.It's hard to find quality mechanics that have your best interest in heart, but these guys do. I looked and looked and looked and tried different places out till I came here. Long story short, if you're struggling to find a shop to take care of your vehicle with your best interest in mind, come here. Gene , the owner, and the whole staff have done nothing but quality work for fair prices and have advised me on numerous occasions without the awkward pay wall that comes with this kind of business. They don't see you as a way to scrounge around some money off of you once, they take care of you and through that they know you'll bring your vehicle back. The guy did not know how to drive my truck, a standard shift diesel. He almost drove it through the wall as he could not find the reverse gear and he did not know how to release the clutch.Okay, then I am paying a $7 bill at the counter, and there is a big dollar guy buying a Mercedes convertible next to me. The lady at the counter started asking me about making a donation instead of asking the big dollar guy...... Not very good rating......

Heather and Gene & the entire staff are rock stars!! I've been coming to this location for about 6-7 years for oil changes, inspections, brake work, etc., and I keep coming back because these guys and gals are super awesome! Love their early morning chats! I called at 9:45 AM to get a quote to find out how much they would charge to get a Volvo starter replaced. To which I called and I spoke to a lady who transferred me to I believe was the service manager, and he was quite patronizing in his tone, regarding the specifics of what I diagnosed as the problem. He said "how do I know it's the starter and not the battery?" I said it" I know it's not the battery because I changed it." Then he says "well how do you know it's not ignition switch. " I said I know it's a starter because it's making a clicking sound. Now, I don't mind the series of questions. It's just the underlying tone behind it, and the fact that they never called me back.An they stated they were going to call me back to which they never did and it is 9:03 PM as I'm writing this review.Also, since I know they are very responsive and they will read my review. I did get that problem fixed without an diagnostics.TLDR: starter was a problem and fixed it elsewhere . Main mechanic is patronizing.

Needed to get my alternator replaced. Parts were ordered and repairs were completed within 2 days. Mechanics seem to be good, honest people. Will continue to be back for any future car trouble.

I always get gas at Heights Mobil because they have tvs on the pumps that keep me entertained while pumping my gas. They also do car maintenance for me. I had my alternator and battery replaced here. The service was fast. They ordered the part and installed it within a day! The price was reasonable and the mechanics are honest. Gene is very knowledgeable and professional, even showed me the faulty part he removed so I could see that it matched the brand he replaced it with.
