Anthony runs the place and he is good people. When my AC condenser failed on me after having just gotten it replaced 1.5 years before he advised me to speak to the last mechanic who replaced it because it should still be under warranty. He could have easily just not said anything and it would have been money in his pocket. I ended up going with Anthony and HCS for all my car needs after that. He is honest and does quality work.

Great service! I trusted Chuck & Trey when they both ran the shop together, I trust them now. I'm confident Chuck has groomed the other mechanic on staff. Azad seems to handle the front of the house business affairs and I like his professionalism, up front and honest. Thanks guys, I will be returning to finish the much needed repairs on my 4Runner.

Very friendly and helpful. I came in to get my AC compressor replaced, and Anthony first advised me to first check with the last mechanic who replaced it if the part was still under warranty to see if they can make it right by me (I had just gotten it replaced by a different place in August 2020). I was genuinely impressed he was trying to help me even though it possibly meant he would lose business. Speaks to the honesty of the people running this place. I ended up going with these guys to get the AC compressor replaced and got my car back sooner than expected for a very affordable price. I highly recommend this place, I know I will be using them for all my car needs.Service: Auto A/C replacement

I was very satisfied with their professional customer service and the quality and fair cost of the repair/service. I liked how Sherry worked with my schedule. I didn't mind that I had to return after they diagnosed the problem, because I would rather keep my car, instead of it sitting at a shop waiting for a major part to come in. Now that I have found HCS, I won't be taking my car to the Honda dealer for service.

I stopped to check my oil change was actually done from Zacks auto repair. 2 guys came out of this shop and checked my truck purely out of kindness. ALSO backed me up that they didn t not do an oil change like they were supposed to. Integrity at its finest.

I have been a customer at HCS for 4 years. They have taken excellent care of my 2003 Honda CRV. They talk me through every repair, letting me know what is urgent and what isn't, and what to look out for before the next visit. I never feel cheated or pressured when I do work with them.I appreciate that they use OEM parts and take the time to test repairs before returning my car to me. It's rare to find an honest and reliable mechanic, and as long as they're in business, I won't go anywhere else!

Came here after parting ways with my original mechanic of nearly 2 decades (his new hours made it nearly impossible to leave a car with him). I had an issue with current vehicle's cooling fan module (Honda hybrid). Right off the bat, I felt like Sherri appreciated me stopping in and she was attentive to my car's issue and searched diligently for the needed part. She was forthright in that they were a bit backed up and it would be about 10 days before I could put the vehicle in. And I feel like these are the things you get with HCS: care and honesty. The car was fixed by the time they said it would be and the issue has been fixed for a very reasonable price. If my car needs any other major repairs, HCS will be my first call and should be yours, too!Services: Battery service, Electrical

Congratulations! You've found one of the best shops in Houston. They know their stuff, but better yet they care and will treat you like family.I've been a customer for more than 20 years and I trust them so much that I've gone out of my way to get cars they specialized in (back when they were the Honda Car Shop). I've lived hours and countries away but still come back to get my cars serviced here because I trust them. Can't say enough good things about them!

Genuinely one of the best people to work with. I came in with a list of issues, and they were great about inspecting each items and prioritizing them. Provided honest feedback on what needs to be worked on and which items can wait longer. On the AC issue itself, they were really good about troubleshooting and fixing what's really needed, rather than just throwing new parts at it till it seems fixed. Appreciate the work and I recommend the overall quality of service here.

10/2020: I cannot say enough nice things about Sherri and the HCS Team. I needed additional repairs to my Subaru. They kept me updated and informed and even thought the repairs were costly, I feel that they were more than fair with me.11/-2019: Sherri and the HCS Team are great. I do not live in Houston, but I'm here on a long-term work assignment. Unfortunately I needed to have a somewhat major repair done to my Subaru. Sherri and her team were very fair and did not take advantage of the situation. She did a great job of keeping me updated and informed while they completed the repair. My car is fixed and working great. I'll be telling everyone I can about my great experience and if I ever need additional repairs I'll be taking my car to HCS Automotive.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

I have a 2012 4Runner with 160k miles, and I started to experience that my car doesn t drive the same. I do all the maintenance myself, and Ive tried many things such as changing spark plugs, cleaning throttle body, use different cleaners, but the final result wasn t there. Tired of experimenting I decided to check HCS place, and I wasn t disappointed. This place is very friendly, they have serious stuff out there, very professional and knowledgeable technicians. After about 1 hour of work, I got my car back, and I felt the result. Best way to describe my car s performance is if I m driving a caged beast that has all the power to break loose at my command

I brought in the family minivan that was not blowing cold air. They took it in and fixed it the same day I brought it in to ensure i got my AC working. I really appreciate the work and care they took in making my vehicle blow cold air again. If you have ever have a problem with your car do come in and use them for their services. Their mechanics are top notch, and Sherrie is very personable.

To HCS Automotive loyal & valued customers,I wanted to set the record straight concerning the posting from AG in regards to the Shop. When Anthony s father had passed away, Anthony inherited the shop. When everything was finalized, the Covid pandemic hit us all. I don t have to tell you how both individuals & businesses were affected by this pandemic. At the beginning of 2022, as we were starting to come out of the pandemic, Sheri informed the shop that she would need to take some time off to address personal issues that needed addressing. The plan was once she had taken care of her personal situation, around a scheduled time period, she would return. Anthony hired a person, who Sheri trained & had agreed to work only during the time Sheri was scheduled to be out. Unfortunately, when the planned time period of Sheri s return came, she did not return. As of this date, she has not given any indicators concerning returning. The person who temporarily replaced Sheri actually worked longer than she planned, but did have to leave due to previously set agenda. As such, Anthony was able to bring in a replacement for her, & he is in the process of fully training him. Anyone who has ever worked in this industry knows that it takes an exceptional amount of time to get a full grasp of how it works. Anthony is in the process of conducting his training while simultaneously being available to his other employees & customers. I have personally, when I had to take my vehicle to his shop, seen him working on a vehicle, answering a question from one of his mechanics, & explaining what needed to be done to that vehicle to its owner, all at the same time. He did so very calmly & professionally, just like his father had passed down to him. I challenge anybody to find another automotive shop, including the big names shops, where you would find a hands on owner with that kind of drive, work ethic, & integrity. This is the type of individual everyone should demand be available to work on their vehicles. Whether Sheri is there or not, does not affect this type of professionalism & quality of work at all.

Fabulous service - courteous people - perfect diagnosis - honest and affordable! I took my 2004 Honda Accord for service, and to get some issues fixed. Sheri and team did great. They took care of everything just great. Thank you Sheri! Keep up the good work. Highly recommend HCS Automotive.

If your vehicle needs serviced and/or needs to be towed, they are just a phone call away. Professional, courteous, efficient, family operated establishment serves the local community responsibility and with respect. Estimates are reasonable. Only new parts are ordered. They specialize in Honda however,they are collectively knowledgeable in many types of vehicles in need of repair.

Anytime I call HCS Sherry answers with the sweetest tone. She always schedules me and gives me accurate wait times for the services I am getting on my vehicle.They are always fast and efficient at HCS. I have never had any issues with them and I will keep giving them my business. They are 5 stars for me every time! Especially with their prices. Really great service. I appreciate Sherry s attitude and helpfulness. I always feel intimidated at auto repair places (I usually feel ignorant and cheated), and Sherry definitely put me at ease. Car feels much better driving it, and the price was very fair. Will definitely go back the next time I need work done.

I've used these folks for a few things for my CRV over the years and have always driven away without issue. They have treated me so well (my mom and I both use them) that I even made plans to come from Austin to have them work on my car as they were exponentially cheaper. Sherri is very helpful and feels like a neighbor I've known for years. She remembers me and asks about my mom whenever I call with car issues. She makes this place feel like a long lost treasured 'mom 'n pop' place, so hard to find these days. A trusty mechanic is also hard to find and these folks are them!

Today had my first experience with HCS Automotive. Sheri was very helpful and knowledgeable over the phone and in person and immediately made me feel that this was an honest and expert company.They repaired my Acura A/C blower at a better price than the dealer. They gave me the defective part. They also told me that my brake shoes did not need to be replaced as the dealer had asserted. George drove me to and from my work and was very pleasant.They have my business now.

Anthony provides great service, explains whatever he finds clearly and carefully and Designs a program to solve the problem. I highly recommend HCS I am only sad that it is moving out of houston.

HCS is the best. You won't find any shop better than them. They are personable, efficient, and honest about addressing the needs of your vehicle. My family and I come to them for ALL our automotive needs. They go so far above and beyond, no one else comes close. Sheri, Anthony, Steve, and Trevor are the best people in the automotive repair world. If anyone asks me if I would recommend a shop, it's HCS hands down.

Today I went to HCS for the first time for car maintenance and let me say this: I have found my new repair shop. I interacted with Steve and Sherry who were just as courteous and helpful in-person as they were when I made my appointment. The vibe of this place is far from the assembly line- like, cold treatment you get from the auto service dept. of a dealership. Especially after the year we 've all just lived through, I try to support reputable, local small businesses now more than ever. I am glad I put in the time to do the research and read reviews because without a doubt, I plan to continue to give this little gem of a repair shop my business! My family has been coming here for decades! Sheri is so sweet, the mechanics are really nice too, though the building itself could use a good renovation lol.HCS is a small and efficient family-owned business and they do great work for industry-comparable prices in the time that they quote. I enjoy keeping my family tradition by still bringing my cars and business to HCS!If/when I move out of Houston, I will be so sad that I ll have to find a new mechanic

My 2003 Honda Pilot has 345,000. I have used HCS in the past and they have always been great. This is a group that I can honestly say I trust them. My recent visit was a testimony of this. I had misfire codes that I could not solve and it was time to replace the timing belt and water pump. Any shop could start trying to fix a multitude of things and charge me tons of money. They investigated many possibilities and communicated with me different potential areas of issues before starting to address them. I felt like it was my own family working on my car and the end results were great and the price was very fair. Sheri kept me informed throughout the entire process. This is the only shop I have used in the past that I would highly recommend.

Just an awesome place that gives you piece of mind as you know you will get honest, detailed, quick, super reliable and cost effective service on your car whenever you bring it in. Have been to 5 other places in Houston prior to HCS for my Honda accord and safe to say I have found my place. Front desk person is the best and so are the mechanics I've met. 10/10.

They did great work for me.Now, let me tell you why you really should go here to get work done on your vehicle.Yeah, sure, there are more commercialized places with pretty store fronts and dozens of mechanics that attract a lot more attention. However, is that what gives good customer service or quality work? Anyone who reads this knows the answer to the above question. HCS hires expert mechanics to bring in the work by giving you great customer service and quality work. That is what keeps a business going. They are not backed by corporate marketing dollars to bring in customers. Also, HCS does not have a high turnover rate with mechanics. Which means these people have experienced employees to get the job done right. This spreads like wild fire by word of mouth. They know what they are capable of doing and will give their customers honest facts of what work needs to be done to get their customers safely back on the road. If HCS is not able to do the work, HCS has people they trust who can get it done. Even if their customers have no idea of what is going on with their vehicle take it in and Sheri and the team will put them at ease and give options for the vehicle that can be trusted. No run around, no inflated prices, no extra work that is not needed, just what is needed, when it is needed, worry free, no extra hassle.Ten thumbs up.

Great work and Sherry is a very good to attend people on front desk. Good price. Unfortunately i am unable to finish work with them because i need to go to chicago. But what we find their is honesty and good knowledge of cars.

We've been going to HCS for about 5 years now with all of our maintenance and repair needs. We couldn't say more positive things about them. Great customer service reasonable prices. Anthony and Sherry do a great job.

I've had a lot of mechanics over the years. (The hazzard of owning an old truck) HCS was the best experience I've ever had. Honest, professional, and a good price. Stopped by this shop to inquire about buffing out a fresh side swipe on my vehicle. The owner himself came over and rubbed it out by hand with polishing compound and sent me on my way. This is a great family owned auto shop! Restores my faith in humanity and small business owners. Patronize this auto shop whenever the need arises.
