So glad I found Haven Automotive! They serviced my 2017 GLS 450. Pricing was very reasonable, and they worked with my 3rd party extended warranty. Turnaround time was great as was the work (and customer service.) 100% recommend. This will be my new go-to! I'm done with the dealership!!!

Mike and his staff were a pleasure to deal with. Great service, reasonably priced, honest, timely and knows his stuff when it comes to Mercedes, BMW and other European brands. Did not hesitate to work on and did a phenomenal job with our R129 SL600.Knowledgeable, honest and reliable mechanics are hard to find - he s a keeper. Finally a reliable and a professional place in Houston where I can take my cars for repairs. I was referred to this place by pure luck. My car was sitting at a different garage for more than a month since they were not able to figure out the issue with it. As soon as I met Mike I knew right away that this guy knows what his job. Mike and Alex diagnosed the issue right away. Mile made sure that he explains everything to me before even touching my car. A thorough professional with 40 years of experience, Mike is a no nonsense guy. Will tell you upfront about the work that s needed. Have already referred the place to my friends who own Mercedes and BMW s. Great first experience. I have been taking my cars to Mike for over 25 years. My children take their cars to Mike. I do this because I trust him. I do this because he is a straight shooter. I do this because he is honest. I do this because he takes the time to try and educate the car owner. I do this for my families peace of mind. I do this because he is one of the best. My 2 cents.

He fixes the job halfway so he can ask for more money took a car to him direct from Mercedes gave a bill of $357 but Mike charged $799 for the same thing and he forgets everything you tell him,screaming using slur words and saying go back to Africa I have it on video too the parts Mike said he bought were even cheaper than the labour ,how do you work on a headlight for 1 month and some days and the car is still showing error messages ,mike doesn t do well with black people, in the reviews their are complaints from 5 years ago they take advantage of people be wary at this establishment.bless

Haven Automotive is an excellent business that is hard to find around nowadays. Mike is very honest, straightforward and professional. He did an excellent job and I feel very comfortable to bring my cars for repairs anytime. From the front office to the back work shop this place is awesome. Becky was very personable and attentive. Mike is the guy who has the passion to keep my car in tip top condition with auto repairs/maintenance. I love having the team here taking care of my automobile! I first saw Mike when I needed a 2nd opinion about some car repairs on my 2012 E350 Mercedes I was told I needed. He looked over the car and gave me his expert opinion. He replaced a transmission mount which made a world of difference in the way my car drove and sounded. Within the next few weeks I took car back to replace the engine mounts and my car drives so much better. He also recommended future repairs. I appreciated Mike's honesty and did not feel like he was trying to dig deep into my pocket with unnecessary repairs. I would recommend this automotive shop and will use his services again. May 2012

I was referred to Mike of Haven Automotive by Corliss Auto of Katy for work on my BMW. If you have a BMW or Mercedes take it Mike at Haven for any issues you have. Mike could not have been more attentive about the problem i was having. He has over 40 years experience with these cars and diagnosed the problem and repaired it very quickly. I have been taking my BMW to the dealer prior to the warranty running out and they wanted to charge me $200 just to diagnose the problem.. I have no doubt in my mind that the Dealership would have cost at lease $1,000 more for the work. Thank you again Mike for your help today!!! I will let all my friends that drive BMW and Benz know that the only place to get work done is Haven Automotive on Park Row.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Air conditioning

Mike was recommended by the previous owner of the vehicle I was getting looked at. When I called Mike asked me to bring the car to look at it. I did and he was able to diagnose it and give me a very reasonable price. Definitely a place you should come to to get your BMW looked at.

Yesterday, January 30, 2019 I took my Mercedes benz 550 S class for an oil change and ended up with a $1400 invoice, Mike was to do the wheel alignment and discovered that the tie-rods are bad, but Mike still went ahead and claimed that he did the alignment!! I was mad. Who does alignment when the tie rods are bad. I specifically told him not to do it, but he said he did it anyway just to overcharge me. I think this people have a trust issue, and are fond of creating unnecessary repairs on your car just to overcharge you. Will definitely not recommend. I had a nasty experience with Mike.

Brought my BMW here to have a noise in the front suspension checked out. They had it for most of a day and said they thought it was a front strut, but weren't sure so they advised me not replace anything and assured me they had checked everything and it was safe to drive. I paid the money I owed and drove it for another week or so. The noise didn't seem right, so I took it to another BMW shop. In under 2 hours I had a call back saying they identified the issue as an extremely loose sway bar bolts, which they tightened to spec. It's now been several months with no issue. I'm extremely disappointed that I wasted money at Haven Automotive and that they couldn't find such a simple issue. Additionally, this was during the middle of the COVID pandemic. Mike nor his front desk worker wore masks, even while riding in my vehicle with me. Lastly, while people are free to share their political beliefs, I thought it unprofessional to have campaign signs in the front door.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Awesome shop. We took our X5 to the dealership and they were going to charge us an arm and a leg. My wife took it in to Mike and he was straightforward and fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost. He even gave my wife a ride home while she waited for the repair (a long drive I might add). Never taking my X5 to the stealership again, wish I found him earlier.

My wife and I were referred to Mike from a colleague of hers that has been using Mike for years. I was going to set up an appointment to get some repairs done when the problem worsened today so I just showed up. Mike and staff attempted to get me back up and running, even making a special trip to get the part from the dealership. It didn't work out due to another part being faulty but the service I received being a new customer was excellent. It's hard to find businesses today that still operate this way today and they have gained a customer for life. Thanks again for all the help today.

I've been bringing my e550 here for a few years now, and nothing but positives to say about the service. The people here are friendly and honest. I don't take my car anywhere else for repairs. I get a lot more information about the service performed here and the explanations are clear. I'm not a car guy, but they are good at explaining the problem and best remedy in a way that I understand it and take the time to answer my follow-up questions.I recently had general service and maintenance done (Feb 2019), but in the past I've appreciated the advice and help to reduce total cost of certain repairs using their recommendation for re-manufactured parts (air suspension).

Mike is the expert when it comes to Mercedes. He saved me a whole lot of money compared to what a dealership would charge and I'm more confident in his work. Finding a good honest mechanic like Mike is like finding a needle in a haystack. I have lived here for about 15 yrs, and not sure how I didn't know about this place. I have 3 x OM642 diesel Mercedes, a Porsche 911, and VW TDI. I am very selective about who works in my cars and I avoid dealers at all costs. I had very complicated diesel fuel injection problem that the dealer nearest them, $200 later, was incapable of diagnosing. Went here,and they very methodically and diligently took the time to walk through diagnostics and determine there were 2 bad fuel injectors in my diesel, reprogram the ECU, replace diesel fuel pump, and some sensors. VERY personable,professional,and affordable. would return with no hesitation. Thanks Alex, Mike and Becky. they know their stuff!

Terrible Customer Service Skills, Always wants things done his way, it s never customer is always right He Knows it all Has a smart mouth, untrustworthy, Disrespectful, Always in a temper no matter what. DONT RECCOMEND!Go to other shops like EMG Houston, DDM GARAGE, Or Engineuity autoworks

I was referred by the dealer to this place few days ago and got my car repaired. I noticed alignment is more expensive then deal's estimation. I don't mind a gap on this since overall expense is lower than deal's estimation. but just curious about the reason.This is a surprise my engine mount was replaced out of my expectation, it kills most of the vibration.I witnessed so many new and old Mercedes and BMW on site. I believe Mike is a very experienced man to repair BMW and Mercedes.

Been taking my ML to the dealership for years with the same brake issue(s). Finally, Mike diagnosed and fixed the problem at a very fair price point. Skip the costly dealership, as they are rushed and don t always take the time to properly diagnose. I highly recommend Haven for the care of your European imports. Thanks Mike!

LOST TRUST in Mike. I suspected a battery issue. Mike clearly advised is NOT battery issue but another part. At pickup I was presented with invoice for repair I agreed to, and for a new battery for which I had not agreed. Asked Mike why he replaced the battery. He replied - because that was the reason the car was dropped off. My thought was perhaps I only needed the battery and not the very expensive part. If my thought was wrong, the truth is I still never approved him to change the battery. I've avoided his shop since.*****Addendum: I read the 'Response from the owner' and acknowledge this is not about the work being 'unnecessary' but rather the battery was UNAUTHORIZED. Imagine being billed for what you were told you do not need.

I ve been coming here for a few years when they were under a different name. When it comes to automotive repair, trust is very important. I know when I bring my vehicle here, they will do the job right without overcharging me. They are always very friendly and take the time explain repairs in a way that s easy to understand.
