Today was my first time using their services for an AC repair. I am a happy customer. Very fair pricing and warranty work. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend Harting Automotive!

If you re looking for a reliable mechanic, this is your place. I go to Harting for all of my car issues. Mr. Greg and staff are always so helpful and truly go above and beyond for their clients. They provide quality service and don t try to gyp you. Recently had a heater hose issue where I was quoted 10x the price elsewhere. (Yes, you read that right).Mr. Greg and staff were able to repair it same day and walk me through what happened. They are very knowledgeable and transparent with their prices. Thank you again!

This is a place of Excellence! Had a coolant replacement and transmission flush. Received a very reasonable price for the service. Job was done in no time. They even shuttled me home. So, Single Ladies, if you are looking for a honest mechanic or a good repair shop that won't take advantage, this is the place to go! I was looking around for a place close to home that could do my oil change and found Harting Automotive, I called and Greg (owner) said he could handle my work and quoted me a price. I also mentioned that I needed to check a tire that possibly had a nail and he offered to do that for free as well. Upon arrival he informed me that his tire machine was not suited for my wheels as they are fancy and his tire machine could scratch the outer surface. Nonetheless I appreciated his effort. Back to the oil change the car took more oil than anticipated and he still gave me price he quoted over the phone. I will be retuning thanks Greg. Hope you get that new pew pew soon.

We have been a customer for years. We bought new cars and hadn t been for a while. Warranty is up on my car so I went back today. Nothing has changed. Same great service and prices. I highly recommend Harting!

*He threatened to call the police.*After paying over 1000 dollars and not being happy with the result, I went back and asked for a small change, but he threatened to call the police.I came here to fix my car because it was shaking. He charged me a lot of money and asked me to change the original front struts and wheel bearing, but the problem wasn't fixed. In the end, he said, 'Oh, the problem is with your back tire.'He doesn't know much about cars, and I was fooled by his fake rating. It's at best a 3, not a 4.9. Shame on anyone who made this fake rating.

The experience was excellent! When we got towed to the shop they drove us home! They were transparent with everything and kept me updated throughout the process, and even after everything was done they filled my gas tank up before I came to pick it up! I am very satisfied with their services they went above and beyond my expectations, and my truck has never felt better to drive!

One of the worst experiences I ve ever had w my Jeep. The mechanic knows nothing about a 3.6 liter and threw every part imaginable at my engine trying to fix my engine from overheating. Instead, I paid for countless parts I didn t need because they did not know what they were doing at the expense of my bank account. They returned my jeep thousands of dollars later w the same issue I brought the car in and said I had a bad engine . If they used OEM parts and were good mechanics, it was thermostat the entire time. They replaced my oil cooler for a 3rd time (I ve lost count) and still couldn t even install that properly and couldn t bleed the air out of my engine nearly causing me to be stranded on the highway. Terrible mechanic on every level and btw - this is a REAL review

I have had my car in the shop twice in the last week. Clarence was very honest with me about the repairs, and completed the job very quickly. I had met Greg before and he also seems like a very honest guy.

Had a battery issue and got be in and out in a consistent time. This is my second visit and I can tell you this is a steal for the Heights area. Owner is very customer oriented and wicked honest. I had a sun roof leak. I walked in and Greg helped with a cup of coffee and they fixed the leak problem. They also noticed and took care of a few other things that needed attention that I was glad they checked out. I got a ride to my house while additional work was done and then was picked up at my house to get my car. Really pleasurable experience.Service: Auto water leak repair

Fast and friendly service from Harting. My truck had a slow coolant leak that recently got worse and they were able to see me with very short notice and get my water pump replaced in just a few hours. I wish I would have been able to use their services as I see so many good reviews and happy customers. I walked in 5/16 and the front desk rep had explained me the process on getting a diagnose to see which AC blend door is not working for my 2018 Jeep Compass, we agreed I would bring it in today 5/18. Today, I was attended by one of the techs/mechanics and was informed they were short staffed on technicians and it would take long, which I told him I was aware and thats the reason why we arranged to come in today, then he proceeded on explaining how complicated it is to remove the dashboard on these newer Jeep models so I asked if there was another technician and he said he would be the one looking at it and he didnt feel comfortable (at this point it went from "we are busy" to "we can't do it"). Im give them 4 stars for the honesty, I wouldnt want them to work on my vehicle if they arent comfortable.Just a little disappointed that the front desk rep didn't ask his technicians if this is something they would be able to handle, I would have saved the drive sitting in traffic and prevented me from being late for work. Im pretty sure they do an awesome work in all other areas, this just feedback to help others with the same issue as me.

A few month ago new brakes were installed, front and back. However I would always hear squeeking noises. Today I brought the car in my oil change and informed them is the noise. Clarence found which brake pads caused it. They were replaced without any charges for the labor. Thank you. Time to hit the road again.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about these guys!A year and a half ago, they fixed another mechanic's negligence. When I found myself in a serious pickle with the engine in my 1999 Chevy S-10, I gave these guys a call. They were up front, they were honest and above all, thorough. (Price tag is pretty reasonable too) I HIGHLY recommend this shop!! If you need work done and done well, give them a call and talk to Greg.Services: Engine repair, Transmission repair

One of the best automotive repair shops in the area. I took my truck in for a radiator repair and had it back before lunch. That's with going through my warranty to cover the cost. Greg and his crew are awesome to work with and will definitely treat you like family!!!! Thanks Greg!!!!

Great friendly place! Very clean exterior for the area. Pulled up and was greeted by Phoebe, the shop pet. Very friendly mastiff; don't let her size scare you. This wonderful team of people have gone above and beyond what an automotive service does. They gave me rides back and forth to home. My car was a big mess. Many things had to be replaced and they made sure it all ran smoothly and everything worked. I even ran out of gas and he sent a tow truck. This place has saved my life many times. I have no idea what I would do without them. I ve been coming to Harting Automotive for about 10 years now because they re so trustworthy. I had to replace my engine for my challenger and they rebuilt it better than it was before. I ve been using Harting Automotive off and on for the last 5 years. They ve always been helpful, but the quality of service has gone through the roof since Greg came on board. Knowledgeable, trust-worthy, and reliable service. Three things that are hard to come by with automotive care these days.
